Earlier Morton had told him that if a gun bubble began to take damage, a metal door would seal off the turret from the rest of the ship, preventing any water from getting into the body of the submarine.
At least I won’t be getting shot at, he noted. As if to spite his statement, a small device extended from the side of the second submarine. Attached to it was a large tubular object.
'A torpedo!' he thought. If they got that off, he’d have no chance. Suddenly, an idea struck him. He would have to work fast, but if it worked…He directed his barrage towards the torpedo, fervently hoping that a stray shot would go where he wanted it to. Luckily, it did. A shot hit the torpedo before it was launched, exploding it prematurely. It tore a massive hole in the side of the submarine. Water began to pour into it, completely filling the sub in a few seconds.

Zach smiled. Mission accomplished.

Chief Officer Smith and Officer Nickelson stared in dismay at the paint-covered Sponge Bob lying in front of them.

“Of all the–” was all Nickelson could make out before dreadful oaths and curses took the place of Smith’s regular speech. Nickelson grimaced at the words that were being screamed through the radio.
“With any luck, he’ll run out of oxygen,” the officer muttered under his breath, and switched off his radio.

Squidward lounged on a beach chair in front of his house, working on his tan. Looking up through the top windows of his house, he could see one of the policemen screaming an unheard tirade at his partner. He smirked. Zach Telmar had done well. As soon as the two men left, he could transfer the remaining sum of money to the assassin's account.
For the first time in years, Squidward relaxed.

Zach Telmar settled into the cot in his cabin. He was more exhausted than he ever remembered being. It was about a day’s trip to Great Britain, and Zach was going to use every minute of it wisely. Thinking back on what he had happened, he couldn’t help but feel a little pride.
'All is well,' he thought before descending into a dreamless sleep. 'All is well.'
