“Why haven’t we found that sub yet!? " Chief Officer Smith raged.
“Well, sir, the process takes time…it’s under our radar, which makes it ten times harder to find. There’s always the possibility it was destroyed…”
“No. ZT is much too clever to be caught off-guard like that. Perhaps...Yes, of course!”
“What is it, sir?” Officer Nickelson asked, coming up behind him.
“He must have known we were coming after him! Only a fool would remain in something as bulky as a submarine if he knew he was being tracked down! He must have abandoned ship! I bet he’s out there right now, desperately trying to escape us.” Smith’s eyes gleamed. “Pilot,” he called, “take us down to the ocean floor. Nickelson and I are proceeding on foot.”
“We are, sir?” Nickelson questioned.
“Yes, Nickelson, we are.” He turned and called over one of the specialists. “Hey, get us into those suit thingies you were talking to me about earlier, would you?”
“Um, suit thingies?”
“Y’know, the high-tech scuba stuff you found in the back of the submarine.”
“Ah, of course. Right this way, sir.”
Nickelson sighed. 'Here we go again.'

“Sir, we’re receiving a radio transmission,” reported a crew member seated in front of the communications console. “It’s from Mr. Telmar.”
The captain nodded. “Ok, put him through.”
A rough, exhausted voice began emanating from speakers in the console. “Ahoy, captain. How goes it?” Zach asked.
“Stressful, Telmar. A few clicks away from your current position Mr. Jones’ second submarine has landed on the ocean floor.” As the captain said this, he walked over to the piloting console and glanced at the screen displaying the camera feed. "Two people have emerged and are heading in your direction. They appear to be armed, and we believe them to be hostile. Keep an eye out.”
“Thank you, captain. What are your coordinates?”
