I'm working on it, Nutz :) .
And, why thank you, Flash! I appreciate your opinion :) . And, I didn't see that. I think I'll edit it the way you suggested.
Can I just get some opinions on that fight scene? I tend to have a difficult time with fight scenes.

CHAPTER 6
The Royal One desired that necessary precautions were taken before he engaged this Jack the Bounty Hunter in civilized conversation. However, the twisted king’s perception of civilized conversation was infamous for being twisted and deranged from the truth. With Jennifer’s death, the Royal One’s barbaric qualities were multiplied tenfold.
It was his kingdom, he often told himself, and how he chose to rule was his choice.
Jack the Bounty Hunter stared blankly at the Royal One, wires wrapped around his wrists, ankles, and neck. The wires led to buckets of water. Suspended telekinetically over the buckets were two large batteries, surging with electricity. Jack prided himself on his intelligence, and he knew very well what would happen here if things got out of line. He enjoyed knowing that he’d never been electrocuted, and he wanted to keep it that way.
For two hours, the duo sat in the Royal Throne room, silent and staring. They were surrounded by luxurious items, treasure chests full of jewels and vases filled with exotic flowers. Jack found himself distracted by the surrounding luxuries, ignoring the looming fact he could be electrocuted at any moment. The Royal One held the batteries over the buckets of water, and he could drop them with nothing but a thought. The situation seemed highly unthreatening.
“So you don’t trust me?” Jack finally asked as he eyed the surrounding artifacts. It seemed odd the Royal One, who was notorious for being dangerously intelligent, that his choice of meeting would be his throne room. Jack offered to talk out in the open, at a coffee shop, perhaps, or maybe a public restaurant. That way, there’d be witnesses if anything were to happen.
However, the Royal One stayed consistent in his desire to meet in his own castle. Maybe there was more to this castle than met the eye?

“No, I don’t trust you. You burst into my house, waving your sword around and killing my servants. I hired you, that doesn’t mean I have to trust you.”
“So I guess this is going to be a one sided relationship? Because I love your taste in hardware,” Jack nodded to the levitating battery inches away from his head. The wire scratched against his neck. He did*’t notice.
The Royal One stared blankly at the bounty hunter, unsure if he was supposed to take this man seriously, or if he was merely joking. Nevertheless, he remained silent.
“I was hoping we could get some coffee or something, I was even willing to pay,” Jack went on. The strain on his wrists and neck were now minor nuisances compared to the rest of the situation, “I knew a restaurant down in the lower Crater with an amazing pizza!” He was given the task of finding out who killed the Royal daughter. “They would’ve even given us a discount cause I used to ***** the owner’s daughter,” If he messed this up, then his good name would be ruined.
Little did he know, then, that wouldn’t matter in the end.
“Shut up!” The Royal One exclaimed, massaging his temples with his middle and ring fingers. He was tired of this bounty hunter and his pointless ramblings. He did*’t care what Jack wanted to do. He did*’t care about pizza. And he certainly did*’t care about Jack’* ****** escapades. His nerves were burning away with every word Jack spoke. With every word the batteries grew closer and closer to the buckets of water.
“Stop talking now! I have no desire to speak of personal matters, I could care less! I just want to know if you can find my daughter!” The Royal One pounded his fists against the arm chairs of his throne angrily. Jack’s face broke into a grin, and his eyes narrowed mischievously.

Jack was calmer now than ever, for he was in control. He had pushed the king into a state of anger. His emotions were Jack’s to play with, and, to him, the game had just begun. “Sir,” he started in a respectful tone. “If you would remove these wires, the buckets, and batteries I would be more than happy to tell you my plan.”
The Royal One took a deep breath, hesitantly considering Jack’s offer. Jack was armed from the teeth down with lethal weapons. Without the wires, what was stopping Jack from attacking him? But this was important, Jennifer was important, she would be worth the risk. The Royal One gestured to the batteries, and they both dunked into the buckets of water.
Sparks exploded from the buckets, electricity trailed up the wires, showering Jack in violently bright lights. But he felt no pain; he just closed his eyes away from the intensity of the lights. When he opened them, the lights were gone, and so were the buckets, wires, and batteries. All evidence of their existence, sparks, scorch marks, and smoke were all gone. Jack did*’t know what happened, but he assumed it was magic. Whatever he did*’t understand, he labeled it as magical.
Jack’s face lit up with a twisted grin, chuckling menacingly as he rose from the home-made electric chair. He approached the Royal One and placed a hand on the back of the king’s neck. The Royal One watched Jack’s face, merely inches away. Jack snapped his fingers, and a dagger jutted out of a band of metal wrapped around his wrist.
“Let me tell you my plan.”

It was then Valkyrie realized things would never be the same. From the tip of the tower of the Chapel of the Crater, Valkyrie watched as the citizens of Crater City shuffled around, searching for clues about Jennifer’s death. It was almost as if the death of the Royal Daughter instantly turned everyone into detectives.

Crater City was in a state of chaos over a woman half of them had never met, and the Royal One seemed uninterested in calming them down. He seemed to be hysterical as well.
Valkyrie never knew Jennifer’s death would have such an impact on the city, but he did know things were never going to be the same. Chaos was the new ruler of Crater City, and Valkyrie wasn’t about to see it end. He’d started this outburst, it would be his responsibility to continue it, feed it. That was why Valkyrie had brought the corpse of a young waiter from a restaurant in the lower Crater. He stepped down from the ledge and reached for the gored body. It was smothered in blood; the corpse was riddled with stabs and slashes. Sad part being the poor kid did*’t even see it coming.
He propped the body over his shoulder, ignoring the blood dripping on his clothes, and tossed it over the ledge into the crowd below, liking throwing meat into the mouth of a hungry beast. The crowd screamed and hollered, appropriately terrified. They were ignorantly unaware of its relation to Jennifer Stone’s death. The beast was satisfied.
While the crowd fumbled with the corpse, crying and screaming recklessly, Valkyrie wasn’t nearly done yet. He reached down to where the body was and picked up a sack of blood he’d collected from his own body earlier that morning specifically for this moment. The beast’s hunger was quenched, but his thirst was ever present. Valkyrie ripped open the back, and dumped it into the crowd. Crimson rain fell unto the crowd, answered with screams. The beast was pleased, as was Valkyrie. He grinned and stepped away from the ledge.
But it wasn’t enough. The blood of one innocent Royal, one waiter at a sleazy restaurant, and a bag of serial killer blood were not going to be enough. Valkyrie craved more. So, he took another step away from the ledge, and readied himself to jump. The crowd was so preoccupied with the fallen gore they would be too busy to notice a flying Valkyrie.

He ran to the ledge and leapt into the crowd. Like a cat, he landed on his feet, miraculously unnoticed by the crowd.
There was a bar down the street. There, he could hunt in peace. This was ideal, the city was his playground, and he was in control. Depending on what he decided to do, Crater City could crumble. In that moment, he felt he lived up to the mythology of his name.
He was then on who decides fate. Crater City was in the palm of his hand.
