Joppi, if those are your words, I'll come over there right now and butcher you. You no-a touchy Star Wars or Halo while I'm around. If they're Torpeh's, I'll just ignore it. I doubt I'd change his mind.
It's not cliched. That company, Bungie, was among the forerunners of human vs. alien conflict, and it came out in the GREATEST GAMES EVER. The story is extremely in-depth if you'd take the time to learn it, it's already spawned a book series and a movie, and has millions of fans, including me, world-wide.
You're saying there are tons of other Xbox games out there like Halo? Did you know that Halo was a shipment game for the Xbox, and all those games came after, and many borrowed from, Halo? I want you to name me five, at the least, five, titles on any system that can compete with Halo.
Violence DOES make the best games. That's why people love Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Star Wars, Command and Conquer, Age of Empires, and Gears of War. Even Nintendo games like Zelda, and to a degree, Mario, have violence. No violence, no contest for best game ever. And not all the cutscenes contained violence. Although, if they did, it'd probably just make the game that much better.
Edit: Halo was never going to be an MMO. It was going to be an RTS, which is currently in production.
