I will come over to your house and beat you with the Halo 3 Xbox 360 for saying that.

Halo is the greatest video game saga ever to grace this fine planet. The multiplayer is freakin' awesome, and even after six or so years of being out Halo 2 still commands the number two most played online game, second only to Gears of War (not counting MMO's, I think). The campaign, while in Halo 2 not AS enjoyable, is still a rich, set story that has you on your toes almost as much as the plasma fire whizzing past your head as you traverse alein constructs and Earth-set battle zones.

Overall, the Halo series gets a 5, out of 5.

---

Yeah, Halo Wars looks like a cross between AOE and C&C3. But you gotta admit, the trailer was pretty freakin' awesome, and hopefully that's how all the cutscenes will look.

And I've always wanted to kamikazee rush a group of marines with a ton of Grunts. Because if the marines are like the ones in Halo 1, they'll be butchered. If they're like the ones in 2, they'll be the butcherers, but still take losses from a random plasma grenade.

Oh, and fleets of Scorpions piloted by Spartan IIs.

Edit: You hit 200 already, and it hasn't even been 2 weeks.

:P , Jube.

Anyway, to the issue, Halo is not, and never will be the best game ever, or ever even close.

In a Torpy-like statement, Halo is a collage of poorly strung together violence.

Violence does not the best video game make. Halo is, what, violence, violence, cut-scene containing violence, more violence, some more violence, a small break from the violence, more violence, and then a boss which is just violence.

Halo has a poor, cliched story mode, that looks like it was only put there as an excuse to not make Halo an MMO.

Sure, the multiplayer is good, but there are HUNDREDS of other Xbox games that are almost EXACTLY the same as Halo, except with different weapons and maps.

A game needs depth to be the best game ever, not just poorly thought-out violence.
