Just kidding. But its incomparable.

Star, the instant that you resort to violence and critisizm is the instant that you know you have lost.

And it isn't about money, and it didn't start the franchise. LoTR did. Star Wars copied LoTR in minor ways, Harry Potter copied LoTR in fairly major ways, and Eragon copied everyone in major ways.
