Well put and accurate. I appreciate the sentiments.
In case you're wondering about my schedule, Zmaster, let me lay it out very clearly:
- The Inklings (LIT330): A 300-level Literature course on works and guiding principles of the esteemed group 'The Inklings,' which included such greats as J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Three pages of response and an average of 200 pages of reading per week, plus a long-term investigative project into a major theme of one of the member authors' works.
- Dispossession and Displacement (ANTH330): A 300-level Anthropology course dedicated to studying the causes and results of dispossession and displacement, primarily in northern African states such as Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso. One discussion board entry and 150 pages of (incredibly dense) reading per week.
- Tutorial in Perspective & Portrait (SART400T): A weekly drawing tutorial on perspective and portrait drawing in pencil and inks, with at least three completed drawings of buildings, city-scapes, and figures due per week.
- Tai Chi Sword (DANC120): A class on the basic principles of the Tai Chi sword form, including sparring and other partner exercises. Yes, it's a class. Yes, it's fantastic.
- Senior Thesis (BAST405BM): A 200-page work involving six articles written in a fictional world of my creation, along with six model weapons, two masks, and ten drawings to be exhibited at the end of the semester. 750-1000 words due each day. 46 pages currently completed. Deadline is April 17th.
In summary: I have a @#$%ton to do. I like this thread. I like teaching. I wouldn't have put this up if I didn't want to do something every week. But with a recently cracked computer screen ($300-800 to fix) and obligations every single day, this is my absolute lowest priority. That you get this long of a response from me when I have work due tomorrow is tantamount to a miracle*
**;dr: Sit tight. If I can review, I will review. Do the new assignment in the meantime.
