"Bring 'em on, Indy. Just bring them." said Bob with a snarl, and drew out his sword and waved it around. He got it stuck in something behind his head, so he turned to see what it was. There was a boy standing there, with blond hair coming down past his bright blue eyes. The child was obviously a beggar, for his clothes were all rags and the only other visible thing on his body was a dagger made out of bronze.
The sword got the kid in the arm, and he just stared at it with an idiotic look and started to poke his arm around where the sword went into it.
"Oh dang. Here, just lemme, uh, pull that out there..." Bob said. Bob yanked out his sword, and wiped the blood off in the grass. Indigo was staring at the child as if he knew him.
"Hey kid, what's your name?" asked Bob, rolling his eyes as the boy poked a twig he found on the ground into his wound. He whimpered, then took it and tried to eat it.
"My name is Zac. My parents said I'm special, I think. They died when I was young, and I was sent to live with my aunt and uncle. Then they were kidnapped, so I try to make a living scavenging what I can from around here." replied Zac, staring in awe at Bob's outfit.
"Ah ha! Now I know who you are!" Indigo exclaimed. "You're that dult of a cousin I have! Once my Mom and Dad escaped from those crooks, they came back home to find you were gone. I asked why you would be so mean as to leave us, and then they told me about your special 'problems'. Seriously Bob, he doesn't even have a disease or anything. He's just really, really, dim-witted."
"I see. Well, come on Zac. Someone as dumb as you is bound to be good for something. Like keeping the goblins occupied as we get the milk and egg. Or giving me foot rubs." said Bob as he trailed into thought on what he could get Zac to do.
"Ok, but first you have to promise me something. You have to get me new clothes and a new dagger. A shiny dagger." said Zac with a pleading look on his face.
