The frightened mother quickly spun back to see the man. When she finally glanced into the eyes of the man, she shook down. She gulped. "Y-you're that..man.." she shuddered, pointing right at him. "You're Salomon! Salomon Nike! The emperor of Misthalin!"
The man looked exactly like Salomon. Blonde buzzed hair with a full beard. Green eyes and looked like in his 30's-40's. He wore a red cape that had gold trim and steel plated armour. In the middle of the chestplate was the Saradomin symbol.
His cold green eyes gaze upon the young mother. "I'm so sorry Dores. But your children are most valuable to my goal for the birth of a superior race. I don't wish to take an innocent life, but all that have died upon these passed months did not want to accept my idea for the benefit of mankind. So, they had to die. As for you, well, survival of the fittest I'm afraid. And you're not one of them."
He strikes his sword down upon Dores. Marcello starts racing towards the two. "MOTHER!!!" he screamed. The world around felt like it was going slow motion. A heartbeat felt like an eternity. The world finally returned to normal time. And his Saradomin Sword stroke through the flesh of Dores. She collapsed to the ground, blood profusely rained from her wound onto the ground.
Her breathing dies out after ten seconds. Her eyes went silent. Her face still bearing the disbelief expression. Salomon looks towards Marcello's way. A knight went right through Marcello as if he were transparent, hollow. He looks left and right, confused. The knight's face was completely concealed by a white full helmet.
"Lord Salomon." saluted the knight, his left hand clenched against his heart. He was as straight as a wooden board.
"What is it?" asked the emperor.
"We've located the children." stated the knight. "They're both separated. So, this should be much easier for us."
A smile heightened on Salomon's face. "Excellent work, Logan."
Marcello grabbed onto his head. "No! No!! NO!! This can't be true! This couldn't have happened!" he falls to his knees and begins to cry. "No! Lord Salomon! WHHHHY!!!?"
Marcello's eyes open up back into reality. He scans the room frantically to make sure where he was was real. His eyes lock onto Abaddon, who puts his left hand back down by his left leg.
Marcello's hands were shaking like an earthquake. His eyes were widened, tears still raining down. "W-Why..?" he mumbled to Abaddon.
"Because Salomon believes that he can create a world full of superior beings." he replied. "And so, he killed everybody who did not believe in his beliefs and spared two mere children who could serve as a tool to his advantage. But two year ago, he realized that Ba'al knew about the pass-word to unlock the door to the God's Blood Elixir. So, he used you for capture Ba'al - which you did like a good dog."
Marcello shook his head, denying Abaddon. "No, no, no! That can't be true!"
"And what would be the point of lying to you?"
"To deceive me! To blind me!" A rain of laughter broke out of Abaddon's lips. A big smile was on his face. Marcello grit his teeth out of frustration. "Why are you laughing!?"
After Marcello spoke, Abaddon's laughter paused. He looks back at the mess that was Marcello. "What is the point of blinding you when you already are?" he replied, swilling around to look out the window. "You are blind from the truth and deaf from the answers."
"No!"
Abaddon sighed. "Salomon really does have you wrapped around his finger, does he not?"
Marcello took a few steps forward. "Salomon's intentions are good! I know they are!"
Abaddon glances back at Marcello with his lifeless black sea of eyes. "Lying to you would be a waste of my time." he stated, returning his head back out into the window. His eyes gaze deeply into the outside world. "I wonder how Salomon killed all those people."
"You heard me." Abaddon slowly closed his eyes. "Salomon is responsible for it all. The La Caccia di Wicked, the war that resulted in the loss of former emperor Solza, the death of all those innocent people."
Marcello shook his head when recoiling his steps. "No, no, no, no.." he mumbled. "Salomon couldn't do that.."
Abaddon spun back to Marcello. "Oh, but on the contrary - he could. And he did."
Marcello fell to his knees with an expression of disbelief. His eyes were widened, his mouth was open. He just could not believe what he was being told. "My..my brother was right.." he gazes at his blood soaked hands. They continued to vibrant. "..I really am the bad guy.."
Lakos and the hooded man were back to back, surrounded by loads of vampyres. They revealed their fangs, hissing at the two. But they mostly were glaring at Lakos as he was a werewolf, an enemy. The taller, much bigger of the group of vampyres glances upon his comrades. "Kill them." he commanded. "KILL THE OUTSIDERS!!!"
Lakos sighed. "C'mon. We're little busy right now." he said. "We've gotta get somewhere, ya see. And I've gotta kill a little profit killer."
The hooded man glances back at Lakos. "Do you think we can truly kill vampyres without the flail?"
"Ya know somethin', these aren't vampyres. They're vampires." Lakos shrugs. "So, they ain't a match for us."
The vampires grit their teeth, revealing their fangs. "Not a match!? Worthless scum!" one of the vampires growl.
"Hey, I'm only speakin' the truth." Lakos drew his daggers. He glances back at the hooded man. "I'll handle 'em."
"No, I-" Right before he could finish his words, Lakos stabs him in the gut with his two daggers. The man's eyes were widened.
Lakos shook his head. "Never said ya got a choice."
"..Why..?" the man said in his last breath. Lakos pulled out his daggers and the man's lifeless body dropped to the dirt.
Lakos readies his daggers. "When did I ever say that kid was my comrade? With his death, I'll get paid a bonus."
The vampire that seemed like the leader of the pack pointed his left index finger at Lakos. "Kill him!" The vampires charge at Lakos. The werewolf discharged the blades of his daggers out to the crowd of vampires. The blades of his daggers were hooked up to some kind of chain, keeping them together with the hilt of the dagger.
The cannonballed blades hurl towards the oncoming vampires. The blades puncture the hearts of two different vampires. He readies himself for something. He starts spinning around with his hands that still had the daggers in them away from his chest and out. The blades exit the dead bodies and are spun around along with Lakos.
The blades still were chained to the blade, and began approaching unaware vampires. Any being that came across this fast approaching blade would get their head cut right off. Luckily, some of the vampires ducked before being killed. After a minute, three vampires laid dead by losing their head. Lakos halted his Ferris wheel of death and remained still.
The vampires charged at Lakos and readied themselves. Lakos returned the blade of his left dagger back together. When the vampires were about to attack, Lakos jumped into the air and threw his right hand out, causing the blade chained dagger to follow. The dagger was about to impale the vampire until he grabbed it at the last second and pulled it down. Lakos is forced to follow it.
He smacks the ground. But he presses his left hand down on the dirt. This freezes the nearest vampire into the frozen shell of his former self. Lakos jumped to his feet and rushed over to the ice statue. And with his left hand, he punches the head of the frozen vampire with all his might. The head of the vampire shatters like glass. Frozen drips of crimson cape the dirt.
Lakos shakes his left hand and readied himself once again. A vampire approached him with intentions to kill. The vampires swings his claw but Lakos leans back to dodge. Lakos punches the vampire right in the face with his right hand and quickly swings his left dagger at the throat of vampire. His blade cuts right through the flesh of the vampire's throat like scissors through paper.
Blood rushes out of the vampire's throat as he collapses to the the ground. Two vampires approach Lakos at lighting speed. The blade to his right dagger returns together. They strike their claws quickly. Lakos does his best to dodge, but one of the vampires scratch him across the face. He places his left hand on the wound and looks at his hand.
He sees the blood and giggles. He looks at the vampires. "Ya gotta do better then that." he said. The vampires growl like a dog, and attempt another claw swing. Lakos quickly swings left dagger at the throat of one of the vampires attacking. His daggers cuts through the flesh of the vampire's throat, blood rained down upon the dirt.
The claw of the other vampire was the other thing that needed to be dealt with. Lakos quickly leans back and kicks the claw away. While the vampire's arm was out of his control, Lakos thrusts his two foot daggers into the chest of the vampire. A painful hiss cries out of the vampire's mouth. The werewolf quickly rips out his daggers from the vampire's chest.
Blood rains down upon the dirt as his lifeless body meets the dirt below. Lakos wiped the blood off of his daggers, preparing for the last vampire. The vampire was taller than his brothers, and much bigger. When the vampire clenches his hands, his fingers crack. The sound pops into the air and rushed into Lakos' ears.
The vampire's teeth were locked together, revealing large fangs. His eyes were crimson red and they were full of angry and hatred. "C'mon. Ya not gonna make me wait forever, are ya?" Lakos taunted.
The vampire charged at Lakos at lighting speed. When he got close enough to the werewolf, he swings his claws at random. Powerful, violent, rage filled. Lakos does his best dodging them, but a few of them hit him. Though the damage was not terrible, it was still something not to get arrogant about.
Lakos' back was against the wall. The vampire smiled. "Time to die werewolf!" he yelled. Lakos rolled out of the way. He dodged the attack perfectly. While on his knees, he planted his hands flat on the ground. "See ya bub." he bid farewell.
"WHAT!?" the pale skinned one shouted. A spike of ice shoots out of the stone wall and impales the vampire's heart. The vampire's lifeless body dangled motionless. His blood dripped cold from the icy stake that hammered into his chest. His mouth hung open and his eyes become cold.
Lakos stood to his feet and sheathed his daggers. "Pleasure doin' business with ya." he said. He turns around, making the lifeless corpse face his back. He then walks away.
Sarah glances into the fire that had taken in Joshua after Marcello threw him into it. Her eyes full of fear and sorrow. "Joshua.." she mumbled. She realizes something rather odd, his body was not there. Visdin was sitting on the ground, his metal hand covering his wound. He was sweating bullets with his teeth strongly grit.
"Dammit.." he said to himself. "I'm not going to make it.."
Sarah turns her head over to Visdin after she clearly heard what he just said to himself. The tears continued to pour down her eyes. "What are you trying to say Visdin?.." she asked with a soft voice. "..Are you saying he took you away from me too?.."
Visdin glances at Sarah. His metal arm was cloaked in a new coat of paint. The blood dripped down from his wound and poisoned the dirt with more crimson. He shook his head. "I'm not saying he took me.." he whispered. "I'm saying Salomon took me.."
"Salomon..? Why him?"
"Because it's Salomon that's taken Marcello over. This is Salomon's grip on Marcello that's turned him into an emotionless killer."
"But Salomon is our emperor." she sounded confused. "Salomon is the man who saved us, Visdin."
Visdin shook his head. "No." he replied. "He's the one that destroyed us."
"What do you mean..?"
Visdin's breathing became burdened. He reached his left hand out to Sarah. "Sarah..!" he mumbled.
"Visdin..!?" she was reaching to grab his hand, but it dropped right before she could grab it. Her eyes widened when she glances at her brother. He did not draw in the breath of life, nor did he look alive. His irises were faded. She grabbed onto Visdin's lifeless hand and gazed at him frightfully. "Visdin!!" she repeated. "Visdin!!"
But her attempts were in vain. He was gone, just like she was. But there was no miracle to cure him from death's embrace. Visdin was gone forever, gone away. She cried over her lost brother's dead body until a whisper of a familiar evil voice took her attention. It sounded like an ill person. She glances towards the darkness where she heard these mumbles.
A familiar man with a raven's face mask approached Sarah. His hands were behind his back and partly his mask was covered by a dark blanket hood. "Dear Sarah." he mumbled. "Your poor brother has been taken from you."
Her glance turns more intense. "And what do you want..?" she asked, her voice slightly raised.
Raven took several steps closer to Sarah to the point where he was standing right beside her. "I am here to offer a deal."
"A deal?"
He nodded his head. "Yes." he replied. "A deal for you to get your brother's life back."
She shot to her feet. "You could do that!?"
"I could." he extended his left hand out to Sarah. "But in exchange, you must forsake yourself to the Raven Reapers. Become my sister, and abandon yourself to be reborn as our family."
She glances down upon her cold, lifeless brother. The darkness of the night went silent without a voice for a minute. The only noise heard was the echoes of sword meeting blade. Her hands locked into a fist. She glances back at Raven, who's hand was still extended out to her. "Can I trust you?" she asked with a serious tone of voice.
Raven shook his head. "There would be no point in lying to you."
She glanced upon his hand, it was covered by a black glove. She closed her eyes and sighed. She drew her right hand and grabbed onto Raven's left hand. She opened her eyes and glanced upon Raven's mask. "Deal."
A soft giggle mumbled from under Raven's mask. "Very good." he replied. He released Sarah's hand and walked in front of Visdin's body. He threw his left hand out in front of him and purple aura surrounded it. "Ritorna a questo mondo, pecore per(co)dute della dannati." he chanted.
Visdin choked in life again. Sarah rushed down beside him, mumbling his name. He glanced at Sarah, believing he would never see her again. "What did you do..?" he asked.
She glances at Raven for a moment. And then put her eyes back on Visdin. "I made a deal with the devil." she replied. Visdin looked surprised at Sarah's answer. He looks at where she was looking at. Raven was not there any longer. He looks back at where Sarah was, and much to Visdin's shock she was not there either.
He stood to his feet and shuffled his head left and right, looking for Sarah. "Sarah!" he shouted out into the darkness. "SIS!!"
Sarah and Raven stood on top of the church that Nyx was on top of. Nyx was sitting in mid air, her left hand pressed against her left cheek. She looked rather bored. Sarah gazed down upon Visdin with a sad look on her face. Raven glances down upon Nyx. She looks up at her master with a confused look.
Lev appeared beside Raven with his arms crossed. The four gazed down upon Visdin, who was completely oblivious to the glances.
The elf warrior, Darien, enters the shroud of shadow. He then hears echoes of footsteps booming across the ground. The elf grabs his whip and readies himself. He then hears a rush of footsteps rushing toward him. Darien rolls forward to dodge the attack of whatever was coming at him. It was Aries. His attack was inches away from inflicting damage onto the elf.
Darien grew to his feet and was stunned at seeing Aries attacking him, being as they were comrades. "Aries?" he mumbled.
Aries' green eyes glare upon the elf. "You must be eliminated." he replied.
He swings his Dragon Longsword and Darien strikes his whip. His whip wraps around Aries' longsword like a snake. Despite all of Aries' attempts to keep his hold upon his blade, his blade slips out of his grasp. Now Darien can use Aries' Dragon Longsword as a weapon now. Aries swings his Dragon Battleaxe down upon Darien, who barely blocks.
Aries continues to press on the attack, and Darien continues to dodge and block each attack. Aries jumps back a few feet and throws one of his Black throwing axe. The heavy black metal axe spins like a Frisbee aiming accurately straight at Darien. When the axe got close, Darien quickly swings his Dragon Longsword at it to deflect it.
The axe hits the dirt in a swift thud. Darien stood there in his ready stance, waiting for Aries to make the next move. Aries charged at Darien in a brush of loud thundering footsteps. He swings his axe down upon Darien, who blocks and throws an attack on his own with his whip. Aries grabs the whip with his spare hand and pulls it out of Darien's hand. Aries tosses it to the ground.
Aries firmly gripped both his hands onto his Dragon Battleaxe and lifted his axe into the air. He strikes his axe down with great force. Darien blocks with the Dragon Longsword he stole from Aries, but the attack crushes him to his knees. The elf grit his teeth, trying to hold his army of strength together. But alas, his attempts were futile. His arms quivered, his strength began to give way.
Aries kicked his own sword to throw it out of Darien's grip - and it worked. The sword is sent soaring into the air like a bird taking off. And then comes crashing down into the dirt below. Darien was still onto his knees, his hands planted in the dirt.
He gulped, unaware of what was to come next. "Dammit. What do I do?" he mumbled in his head.
Aries gazes upon the elf with a cold, lifeless glance. "It's all over for you." he stated. He raises his Dragon Battleaxe. But when he strikes down, Darien made a quick and last second move by rolling away. However, bu the last moment decision, a pour of blood rushed down his left shoulder. Regardless of the injury, he rushes to his whip with great haste.
After about ten seconds, he retrieved his whip and readied himself once again for what's to come.
Vezyfher faced the vampyre, Lilith. The two charged at each other with their weapons ready. Vezyfher did not look frustrated, but in his mind he was not pleased. "I'll just have to knock her weapon out of her hand. I cannot possibly imagine killing a woman." he said in his head. Vezyfher goes to slash his sword across, however she easily jumps above him to his back.
