(A short chapter. Yes. But my typing mood IS returning. So, thumbs up to that.
)
As the blood was being splattered upon the once buzzing streets of Varrock. Another villages was deprived of it's people. They all laid dead upon the dirt pathway, even small children. Their blood covered the land, corrupting beautiful plants and withering them to their deaths. Alone among the carnage, alone among the bloodletting, alone caped in blood stood a man with a Black Cavalier.
He held a blade in his left hand. It was bloodied, covered top to bottom in the blood of victims, assassins more like. A depraved smile grew on his crimson covered face. But then it quickly goes down, and instead he grows angry. He clenched his right hand into a tightly closed fist and looked out to the empty village of bodies and blood.
"You Assassins believe you own the world! I've just killed all of you! So what do you have to say about that!?!" he shouted off the top of his lungs. His voice echoed across the silent late afternoon. "I want you to strike me with your weapons! I want you to show me your resentment!!"
The afternoon grew still. Silent. As a winter day. Marcello lowered his head and closed his eyes. He and the world around him were shrouded in silence.
His quiet blank mind wandered on the thought of his past. The warm embrace of his brother, the cold wintry skin of his lifeless mother, and the burning flames that engulfed his every nightmare. The two siblings ran to their father's workshop where he was before the attack. They hasted as fast as they could, wearing off their small bodies' amount of oxygen.
Going through buildings they once knew was hard enough. But going passed the inanimate bodies of the people they once knew was an even greater task. When they finally to his workshop, after going through all that dark gray smoke that smothered the air, they made no hesitation in entering. But Ba'al stopped right before the door.
He turned to his brother, who seemed curious as to why young Ba'al stopped. "You need to stay here." suggested Ba'al.
Marcello's eyes widened. "But-but why?!" he replied with a raised voice.
"Quiet, you idiot!" he stated, making clear that his brother knew. "I just need you to stay here, alright?" He drew a Iron Shortsword that he kept strapped to his waist. "Take this just in case somebody comes, okay?"
Marcello slightly nodded his head. But Ba'al knew that Marcello could let out a flood of tears at any moment. The young boy took the sword and waited for his brother's return. He bursts through the door and flooded into the house. And when Ba'al heard his father's voice, his eyes lit up. But he heard another voice, and judging by what he said, he was not an ally.
Marcello's brother made haste in bursting the door to where the voices were coming from. The door smacks open, revealing young Ba'al. His father looks over. Young Ba'al saw that his father was sitting against the wall holding onto his left shoulder as it was covered in crimson red blood. The building was engulfed in flames, smoke, and blood.
"Father!!" shouted Ba'al.
His father seemed absolutely shocked to see Ba'al. "Son! You need to leave now!" shouted back his father.
The other man turned to Ba'al and looked at him. A slight giggle came from the man. "And you must be Ba'al Saif-Al-Din." he said, with a wicked giggle in his voice.
The young boy glanced upon the face of the man. His eyes immediately widen. "You're-you're that man..!" mumbled Ba'al.
The building began to growl with shakes and debris rained down from the roof. "Son! You need to leave NOW!!!" he screamed off the top of his lungs.
Young Ba'al 's eyes flooded with water, his hands began to tremble. He tightly closed his eyes, grit his teeth, and locked his hands into a fist. "I'm sorry dad." he quickly mumbled. He spun around and ran as fast as his own heartbeat.
His father looked up at the falling roof and closed his eyes. A smile grew on his face. The young boy got outside just before the building collapsed. Like a stack of cards, the building pancaked. The wood crushed anything in it's way. And all the boys could do was watch the flaming hell consume the remains. They witnessed all that they had worked for vanish before their feet.
Marcello quickly turned his head to his brother, who looked terrified. "Brother.." mumbled Marcello. "..where's dad?"
His brother's frightened eyes were wider than a baseball. His hands could not stop shaking. He dropped to his knees in the moist mud. His mouth left ajar. His face looked mindless, but his eyes were filled with all kinds of emotions. He knew he was powerless. Helpless. He buried his hands in the mud and began punching the wet ground.
"They're all dead!!!" screamed Ba'al. His voice echoed throughout the night. "..And we're alone.." his voice sounded much softer. Marcello fell to his knees and a waterfall of tears came crashing down from his eyes. The world around burned to the ground, and the ashes of that world aimlessly wandered in the wind. Nothing they could do. Nothing they were able to stop...
...they were alone.
Back in the present, Marcello had returned to the capital. Only to notice that it was under attack. He made haste to return to Salomon's room, believing his life was in danger.

Finally! A battle chapter that's actually DECENT! O.o
Chapter 14: Fight It Out
Joshua and Nyx were battling each other to the death. After being impaled by a rock spike, Joshua stood on his feet full of life. This gave Nyx the idea that he was of her own race, the Albali. The blood dripped from his open wound. But he did not flinch, not even a sign of pain overcame him. Nyx seemed quite impressed but she wasn't surprised.
Joshua quickly pointed his blade out in-front of him and shot a fireball. His enemy quickly drew her blade and cuts a vertical line across to block the fire. The sizzling flame disappears when it made contact with Nyx's blade. A usual evil smirk was on her face when she glanced into the stern eyes of the enemy before her.
She charged at him, her blade by her side. Joshua waited for his enemy to arrive, and she did a heartbeat later. She swings her blade down upon Joshua's Oubliée Rêver. He was easily able to block, and kicks Nyx in the gut. She slides to the wooden boards on her front side. Joshua quickly thrusts his blade down, but Nyx rolls out of the way and jumps to her feet.
She quickly swings her blade at Joshua, who quickly recovered his blade. He quickly leans back and grabs her left wrist with his right hand. He then pushes his left hand up at the back of her left elbow to break it. The thundering crack snaps into the air. She swings her wand at Joshua, who quickly grabs his blade and cuts that arm right off.
The blood rained down upon the wooden floor. She fell to her knees and Joshua rose to his feet. The young man pointed his blade to her heart, the only weakness to the seemingly invincible Albali. He thrusts his blade into her heart. The blood flooded the ground, and an expression of shock, disbelief clings to her face. She fell to the floor, into the puddle of wooden boards.
She still drew breath, but it was very faint. Her fading eyes glanced upon the snow white haired stern man's face. His eyes were emotionless, with no sympathy. "Your wicked deeds are at an end. You shall no longer instill fear into any heart." he said.
"But why..? Why must it end this way..?" she softly mumbled.
"Because it must. You were so foolish and ran into your inevitable end with full force. It is your fault this has happened, you only have yourself to blame."
"It's not like I care that I'd die..I'm dead anyways. I was just a zombie with a brain. I've done my time, and did my part. Abaddon is alive and about to claim the world for his own. I never cared about anything really, all I ever cared about was the killing.."
"You're a tool then." he said quickly with no hesitation.
"Think of me as you'd like. But you're a tool yourself. We're all tools. We're always doing something for someone. Like a puppet does for the puppeteer. Without control, we move. Without hesitation, we act."
"I serve no one. I work alone."
"Then you're a puppet to yourself."
"Enough. It's time you return to sleep." The smile on her faces goes down. The pupils in her eyes fade away. Her crimson red eyes close slowly. She drew her final draw of breath. She was gone, the very life in her body disappeared. Joshua closed his eyes and sighed. He reopened his eyes and looked towards Sarah, Visdin, and the vampyre assassin Lilith.

Serene End
He hasted towards the three. Visdin glanced toward the approaching Joshua and charged towards him. He swings his rapier down upon Joshua, who blocks with his sword. "So, you've finally shown your true colors." mumbled Joshua to Visdin.
"I'm an Assassin afterall. You're my enemy if you protect an Assassin Hunter." he replied.
"And if you oppose me, then you must be eliminated."
"You can try, but I'm not going to allow you to win."
"We shall see." Visdin jumps back, readying his rapier. Joshua points his blade toward Visdin and shot three Fire Waves. The Assassin swings his rapier and his metal right arm at these waves of flame. He was easily able to defend himself.
Now that Visdin was fighting Joshua, this leaves Sarah and Lilith to continue their fight. Lilith swings her rapier down upon Sarah's diamond blade. The pressure of the continued attack on her blade began to make the blade crack. Lilith kicked the young female in the gut. Sarah slid to the ground on her front side.
Lilith thrusts her rapier down. But Sarah rolled out of the way first. She got back to her feet and swings her blade. Lilith was easily able to block. But Sarah quickly pulled her blade back and kicked Lilith right in the face. In mid air, Sarah and Lilith both land firmly on their feet. They both glanced upon each other and readied their weapons.
They both charge at each other and swing their weapons down upon each other. The two weapons collided. Lilith quickly punched Sarah in the face, and Sarah roundhouse kicked the vampyre in the side of the head. But the vampyre blocked, grabbing onto the leg. Sarah smirked when she swings her sword at Lilith.
