After two reports of countless murders, the causer of those murders is escorted to the Holy Kingdom's castle. Joshua stood face to face before Marcello and Emperor Salomon Nike. Marcello had a serious look on his face, while Salomon had his usual calm look. Salomon pointed towards the doors while his eyes glanced at his knights.
The knight knew that this was a command to leave, and so they did. They shut the door tight behind them. After that, Salomon returned his eyes onto Joshua.
He had his hands in his pockets with a cold look on his face. Joshua looks at the two as they look back at him. "If all we're going to do is play the staring game, then I'm leaving." he said. He turned his back on the two.
"No." Salomon said with a raised voice. "We just wish to speak with you."
Joshua looks back at Salomon. "Talk? All we're going to do is talk?" he closes his eyes and lets out a sigh. "I'm starting to regret my decision."
Marcello glares at Joshua. "Do not disrespect the emperor!" he shouted.
The young man looks at Marcello. "And what are you? His little barking puppy?"
Marcello's face flushes red, he was embarrassed of course. "A-and what the hell do you know?!"
"Quite enough."
Salomon shuffles his eyes between the two. "Calm yourselves, both of you."
Joshua looks at Salomon. "Alright then, old man. What do you want then?"
The emperor looks at Joshua with a serious look. "Joshua. What is it that drives you to commit all of these inexcusable murders?"
"Your 'justice' isn't the right kind of justice. So, I take matters into my own hands."
Marcello takes a step forward. "But that's a crime. You're also murdering. In the end, you're just hurting your own cause."
"I'm not murdering, I'm cleansing the world of it's evil."
"Oh, is that what you're doing?" Salomon stands up from his throne room chair. "You are just as ignorant as Ba'al."
Joshua looks at Salomon with intense look. He walks up to Salomon and grabs the collar of his robe. "I'm NOTHING like him!"
Marcello quickly draws his blade and points it towards Joshua's throat. "I would suggest you let Emperor Salomon go now, before you're placed under arrest."
Joshua doesn't heed Marcello's warning. His grip on Salomon's robe collar grew tighter. "You're the one who should be placed under arrest. You're the true murderer..!"
"You are a fool to believe such blather."
"I will not warn you again, low class. Release him immediately."
Joshua looks at Marcello then lets go of Salomon. Joshua grew a smirk on his face. "Oh, right sorry. I'm not the middle class, or even close to the high class. But, hey, I'm not complaining. At least I'm not a high class ass kisser like you." Joshua mocked. With that said, he faced away from Marcello then walked out of the throne room.
Marcello's whole face was red. He was both angry and embarrassed. "Why that little..!" he growled to himself. Salomon continued to look towards the exit, and watched Joshua leave the room.
An hour went by, at the cemetery outside the Varrock walls, Sarah was walking towards Janak's grave. When she got right in-front of it, she knelled down. She had a dozen roses in her hand. She gently placed them on his grave. She stared at the snow covered grave with intensity focused eyes. Thoughts of vengeance tangled her mind.
But after a moment, her hate filled eyes went down to sorrow filled eyes. A tear fell down her eyes. "I'm sorry Janak." she mumbled.
"He must have been important to you." a familiar voice assumed.
Sarah looks back and saw Joshua. But she didn't recognize him. "Who are you?" she asked.
Joshua walks right in-front of Janak's grave. He briefly glances at it, then looks down at Sarah. "I'm Joshua."
Sarah looks up at Joshua. "Joshua. You mean the same Joshua who killed all the Sand Bandits and James Juleonlos?"
Joshua nodded his head. "Yes." Joshua sits down right next to Sarah. He looks at Sarah with serious eyes. "But they had to die. They were just like Ba'al, they poisoned this land with evil and hate."
"Yes, I understand."
"You do?"
Sarah nodded her head briefly. She stopped then spoke. "I want to kill Ba'al, for all the horrible things he has done. He must pay for his crimes."
"You're not going after him with animus in your heart, are you?"
"I don't just want to kill him for personal reasons, he just needs to be stopped."
"I understand if you hate him. But remember," Joshua puts his hand on Sarah's shoulder, "you cannot allow yourself to be caught in thoughts of vengeance. I, and I'm sure your friend, wouldn't want that to happen." After that, he got up, placed his hands in his pockets, and began to walk away from Sarah.
She thought for a second, then stood to her feet, and looked at Joshua. "W-wait!" she yelled out. Joshua's attention got caught. He stops in his tracks, and looks back at Sarah. "Do you want to come to my house? For dinner?"
Joshua smiled. "Yes, I would like that." he replied.
She smiled back. She walked over to Joshua, who she noticed was staring at Janak's grave with an upset look. His eyes were down about half-way. "Are you okay?"
Joshua stops looking and shook his head, to shake off the feeling he was experiencing. He then looks at Sarah then nodded his head. "I'm fine." After Joshua's reply, the two walk back into the walls of the city. After a few minutes, the two arrive at Sarah's house. "Here we are." said Sarah.
Joshua's eyebrows rose. "The Woflsbane's house. So, that must mean you're Sarah Wolfsbane." replied the snow white haired man. She nodded her head in agreement. Joshua walks over to the door and holds it for Sarah. "Ladies first."
She smiled. "Thank you." she replied. She enters the houses and Joshua enters as well, right behind Sarah. Meanwhile, at East Ardougne. The skies were smothered by clouds. And the streets of the once human occupied city were cluttered by Albalis. Vines covered the stone walls of the city, as the Albali religion believes that vines are the embrace of Guthix.
The Albali elder, Sayyid, watched his city moved with such happiness with a smile upon his face. He listened to the laughter of the people, as this sound comforted him. But then laughter is broken into screams of fear. He watched helplessly as his citizens are killed. He rushes out his door and runs to his throne room.
One of the soldiers look at Sayyid, he appeared to be wearing nothing more but decorated robes. "Elder!" he shouted. "The Angel of Death! H-he's attacking, sir!"
Sayyid looks at the nearest door, which was the one that lead outside. "So, the prophecy was correct." he mumbled.
"I'm afraid so." The soldier looks at Sayyid with seriousness. "What are we to do, Elder Sayyid?"
Suddenly, the stone that blocked the entrance to the castle is smashed. Lev, the small boy, enters the building. He stares at Sayyid with a hate filled look. Sayyid gulps when he made eye contact with Lev, seeing the absolute hatred in his eyes. But he feared for another reason.
"Son." mumbled Sayyid.
"Ah, I see. So the old man who abandoned his own son still remembers, eh?" added Lev.
"How are you still alive? You're only half Albali. You can only live six-hundred years!"
"Typical question of a father who left his son to die."
"Correct." a familiar voice replied. Abaddon appears right beside Lev. "I am Abaddon,"The Angel of Death" as you mortals address me."
The soldier and the elder's eyes widened at the sight of Abaddon. The soldier made a sword out of the earth underneath him and charged at Abaddon. "I won't allow to live any longer!!" the soldier bellowed. Abaddon stares at the soldier, and a smirk grew on Lev's face.
"No! You fool! Stop!" yelled out the elder.
Suddenly, loud cracks are heard. The soldier collapsed to the ground and began to wail in pain. Abaddon walked over to the soldier, and knelled down. Abaddon placed his hand on the soldier's forehead and lifted his pain. He stops crying. But then, Abaddon smirked evilly. The same black veins grew out from his eyes and down to the arm that was placed on the soldier's head.
The black veins became visible upon the victim's body. They traveled all over the man's body. After a moment, the soldier's hands began to shake and the veins travel away from the man back into Abaddon's eyes. Abaddon got back to his feet, and then looked at his right hand. The soldier's eyes rolled in the back of his head as his body twitched. The elder gasped.
"Such novice Albali powers." he mumbled, then looked at the elder. "I wonder if you will be less of a disappointment."
The elder takes a few steps back. "D-don't you even dare!" he yelled.
Abaddon suddenly appears right in-front of Sayyid. "What? Do you believe your false god Guthix is going to save you? I am sorry, but he has forsaken you. Just like you did to your own son."
Lev walks closer to Sayyid and Abaddon. "Kill him father. I want to see him squirm." added Lev.
Abaddon grabbed the head of Sayyid and lifted him slightly off the ground. The same black veins grew out from his eyes and down to the hand that held Sayyid's head. The black veins became visible upon the victim's body. They traveled all over the Sayyid's body. After a moment, the veins travel away from Sayyid and back into Abaddon's eyes.
Abaddon drops Sayyid. His eyes rolled in the back of his head as his body twitched once he hits the floor. Lev watches Sayyid, then a smile grew onto his face. "Hmph. That bloody moron needed to die." mumbled Lev. Abaddon looks at his right hand again. "He knew nothing of the God's Blood Elixir." he also mumbled to himself.
Outside, people ran for their lives. Nyx kept killing a lot of people with her Albali powers. Vezyfher just continued to watch, then sighed. Nyx looked back at him with a curious look on her face. "Why don't you join in, Vezyfher? It's fun as all hell!" she encouraged.
"Innocent murder just doesn't float my boat." he replied. Near them, an ivory skin colored man began torturing the innocent civilians. Breaking their bones and killing off their loved ones were just two ways of how he was making the people suffer. More Albali soldiers rushed onto the scene, they drew out their wands and readied themselves.
They watched as the ivory skin colored man dig his fangs into the last of his innocent victim's neck. He began to suck to blood out of the woman's body. The soldiers look on in disgust.
Nyx looks at the vampyre. "Sendor!" she yelled out his name. Sendor looks at Nyx, his attention grabbed. "Put the body down and kill those Albali soldiers."
Sendor releases his fang from the woman's neck. He looks behind him and saw the disgusted knights. Sendor's mouth oozed with blood. He then charged at the soldiers. One of the Albalis made a rock spear. That Albali alone charges at Sendor. The soldier thrusts his spear at Sendor, who dodged with easily.
Sendor jumps behind the Albali and grabs the soldier's head. He then twists the soldier's head fast and a loud snap is heard. Sendor had just snapped the soldier's neck. He looks back at the other soldiers with a hateful look. The soldiers took a few steps back, in intimidation. One of the soldiers charge at Sendor, it was brave but incredibly foolish act.
The soldier swings his sword at Sendor. The vampyre swings his longsword at the soldier's sword and deflects it. Sendor punches a hole into the Albali's chest, then rips out the soldier's heart. Sendor drops the heart, and the Albali's body drops along with it. "By Guthix! What kind of monster are you!?" one soldier yelled.
"To hell with this! I'm getting the hell outta here!" another soldier added. He began to run.
Nyx appears in-front of that Albali with a sick smile on her face. "Aww. You aren't leave, are you?" she said with a disappointed voice.
The soldier tripped to the ground and crawled away from Nyx. "Wha-what in Guthix's name...are you?!!"
"Ask yourself that question. I'm just like you, a servant for a greater purpose." Nyx giggled. "Only my purpose is much more fun!"
"Y-you witch!"
"Aww. I'm hurt." Nyx winks at the knight. "Since you're a big meanie, I guess you have to die! Can't wait to hear you scream!"
"W-wait!" Nyx makes a spike of rock shoot out from under the soldier. The spike impales the knight's gut. He began to scream out in pain. Nyx began to laugh devilishly, amused by his screaming.
Within a few hours, the once crowded streets of East Ardougne were destroyed and went silent, quiet. All the of Raven Reapers met up inside the East Ardougne's castle. They began to plan their next attack, and no one would suspect where they wanted to attack next. The answer might be shocking and surprising, as this city was the ally of Raven Reapers for the longest of time.
