Yes it does, Zaro's old kingdom is what is now known as the Wilderness, the names of the ancient magicks teleports were the names of his fortresses, all aspects o fteh wilderness are related to Zaros and Zamorak, Lucien is a Zamorak wannabe so who's to say he wont show up.
Sounds pretty interesting being a Zaros follower myself :P

perhaps you forget, in this case, 'north' means the first cave where you find the Muspah, AKA one of the Mahjarrat. i remember the Mahjarrat saying that where he was hibernating was where the ritual would take place. if you want to be sure, do the quest yourself or ask someone who did it like me.

sounds like i'm going to go through the new quest series: mystery of the mahjarrat as jagex called it in the latest news. At the moment it has two quests: tale of the muspah and missing my mummy. The aim is to link many quest series between them and clarify runescape's history ^^
I found doing research on runescape and the mahjarrat was cool. I just hope the history will not be too clear after that :p so we have other secrets to undiscover ^^

Pharoah Queen: That vile creature Zaros and his minions. Ever plotting in the dark lands of Morytania. During my reign we defeated him temporarily with the aid of the Stern Judges. Icthlarin be praised for his strength and wisdom.
Player: I thought that Zamorak was always the root of all evil?
Pharoah Queen: I have never heard of this Zamorak you speak of, I assume he is a newcomer of this world.
Player: Well, he's an immortal deity, I guess you'll find out about him soon enough. What was that about the Stern Judges?
Pharoah Queen: The Stern Judges, the faceless ones, are Icthlarin's workers in the lands of the living. They see all, wield great power and are reborn thrugh death. What more fitting servants could he have?
Player: What was that about rebirth through death? and why are they called faceless ones?
Pharoah Queen: The Judges have a central mystery in that one of their number must die in order to give life to the others. You can see how this appealed to Icthlarin. They can also take any form they choose, any face that is of use. The power to rule much enhanced when one's advisors can speak with traitors using the face of another.
Player: I don't doubt. Were these Judges minor deities, spirits or something else? It all seems a bit strange that i haven't heard of them before.
Pharoah Queen: Like many of the servants of the gods, and indeed the newcomer gods worshipped by most in the North, the Stern Judges were not native to this world. Ichthlarin, in his wisdom, foresaw that he would need servants to do his bidding among mortals. He this transported the faceless ones to these lands.
Player: So where are they now?
Pharoah Queen: I am still recovering my knowledge in some areas and must admit that i do not know. perhaps they were freed by Icthlarin from their vows of obedience.
Pharoah Queen: It is a subject i will look into in due time.

Peach, I have a quest cape earned without the use of guides, and I do research the history and lores of Gielinor.
Btw thought this would be useful and save you some time Zoink :) ^
It talks about Icthlarin bringing the mahjarrat to this world, and of the ritual in which they sacrifice one of their kind in order to prolong the life of their brethren.

If i understood well: the Stern judges were obviously the mahjarrat. What troubles me is... the queen says that the judges defeated zaros once. But we all know the mahjarrat served first under ichlatrin, then under zaros. Why would these powerful entities have served under a god they could defeat ?
And.. If you do have other conversation like this one, post them !

Yeah, she said they once defeated Zaros, but the only time i can remember this happening was Zamorak's betrayal and when him and his mahjarrat brethren attacked Zaros. She's been gone for some time now and Icthlarin brought the mahjarrat to this world, maybe they were succumbed to the influence of evil, drawn to power?

Thanks alot Ul for the text, just need to get the rest now :P Also, Zaros's empire spread from Morytania to the north western part of the Wilderness, and possibly even further for all we know. Also, I recon the reason the Mahjarret left the Desert Panthion was as of 3 reasons. One is that they saw that the Pantheon was breaking up and becoming weaker, so chose a stronger god to follow. 2 is that though they could equal his strength combined, they were no match in smaller numbers, and with each of them being sacrificed now and then and others dieing of other causes, they were possibly quite a bit weaker by the time they went to Zaros than they were before, and so were not a match for Zaros(except with the Staff of Armadyl or Stone of Jas etc.), so decided to go follow him. Finally was their desire for war. In the desert, it was relitivly peacful, with prosperous villages, and once the Zaros forces had given up trying to take the desert, it was too quiet for the Mahjarret, so they just packed their bags and left for the far more war like god Zaros.
Everyone dies.
