--------------------\+/Mort'ton\+/----------------------
Mort'ton used to be a quiet little market town which was usually where everyone was buried, hence its becoming the main place for cremation and such. They built a temple, dedicated to the god Flamtaer, god of fire. The town was cursed when a poisonous gas was created by the Vampyres from a sewage outlet on the city's western wall, and the citizens were turned into 'afflicted'. Strangely, this also caused the dead bodies around there to become Shades.

--------------------\+/Port Phasmatys\+/----------------------
Port Phasmatys is a town on the far west of Morytania, and is inhabited by ghosts. The inhabitants used to be human, but when Draken invaded Morytania, the Mage Necrovarus used a spell to protect the town, but although it did protect the city, it transformed the inhabitants into ghosts too. The ghosts worship something called the Ecofuntus, which possibly may have been the thing that saved them.

--------------------\+/Meiyerditch\+/----------------------

Meiyerditch used to be known as Hallowvale in the days before Draken, but since then, it's been Meiyerditch. At first, it was a happy, prosperous city, but after Draken aided Zamorak in his overthrowing of Zaros, and with Zamorak's ascending to Godhood, Draken was given the ok to attack Hallowvale and the areas around it. Thus, Draken kidnapped King **certes, the husband of Queen Efaritay, an Icyene. The Queen loved the King dearly, so surrendered to Draken in order to save the king's life. From here, Draken's power only increased. Draken transformed the population of the city into blood-cattle and the city was turned into a Ghetto, with Draken ruling from his Omnius castle there. The only resistance shown to him is by the Myreque, which is a secret organisation that is trying to undo what Draken has done. Many humans were used in devious experiments in an underground lab, but these have now ceased for some unknown reason.

------------------------------------------------\+/The History Of Tirannwn\+/----------------------------------------------
--------------------\+/Prifddinas\+/----------------------
Prifddinas was created when the Elves came through the 'World Gate' in the First Age, and were persuaded to create a city, and for the eight Clans to be united by the Goddess Seren. She showed the Elves where to build the City, which is where the Tower of Voices was already located, and she also told them to make the city have eight walls, one for each clan. After this, she gave each clan a crystal to plant, and told them that the crystals would grow into towers, all connected to the Tower of Voices. The Tower of Voices allowed the Elves to contact the Goddess whenever they wanted, which was very useful after the God Wars and the Eddicts of Guthix. And so the city was founded.(I will give more information on the Elves in the 'Elves' section)

--------------------\+/Llyeta\+/----------------------

Llyeta is where the Rebel Elves stay at the present day, and they have been located there for quite a while now, as it appears reasonably safe. The Elves consist of all of the Elven clans, except the Iowerth Clan. The town is made of wood which is quite strange for an Elven settlement.

--------------------\+/Elf Camp\+/----------------------

The Elf Camp is only a small camp to which the Iowerth Clan have sent some of their men to try and find the Rebel Elves and Tyras' Camp. They have not been very successful, but they have recently managed to trick a Human into assassinating King Tyras.

--------------------\+/Tyras Camp\+/----------------------
The Tyras Camp is where a small group of Humans are staying. They are lead by King Tyras, and they hope to get rid of the Elves who want to bring back the Dark One. Unfortunately though, their leader has recently been killed, and so they do not have a leader to look to.

------------------------------------------------\+/The History Of The Fremennik Province\+/----------------------------------------------
--------------------\+/Rellekka\+/----------------------
Rellekka is the capital of The Fremennik Province, and is belived to be where mankind began. It probably started existance in the early Forth Age, possibly far before that, with a small tribe of Barbaric men setting up camp, then deciding to make it permenant and hope that they were not troubled too much by other races. Unfortunatly they were, and some people deserted the camp to look for safer places. as of this, Rellekka has not got many allies.
When Runes were discovered, The Fremmniks thought that it was the power of the Gods, and so should not be messed with. As of this, they lead a giant army through the Southern lands(i.e. Kandarin and Asgarnia) but when they got to Misthalin, their army was stopped and they made a village on the battle field so they could grow their reinforcments, but the invasion never took place. In modern times, Rellekka are trying to make allies with places such as the Mountain Camp and Lunar Isle. Rellekka is still quite far back in time compared to other towns and villages, for example their houses are only made from wood.

--------------------\+/Mountain Camp\+/----------------------
The Mountain Camp inhabitants used to be Fremmniks, but deserted the main party which settled In Relekka. Before they left though, they stole the Fremmniks legendary rock, which made both of the people enemies of each other. The inhabitants of the Mountain Camp are very similar to the Fremmniks in their way of life and culture, but both are still enemies of each other. The residants of the Mountain Camp have been there for atleast 10 years so far.

--------------------\+/Waterbirth Island\+/----------------------
Waterbirth Island used to be a small outpost of Relekka, but lately has been over-run by the Daggonoths and their Kings.

--------------------\+/The Fremennik Isles\+/----------------------
The Fremennik Isles were founded by King Gjuki Sorvott IV and his cousin Mawnis Burrowgar. The cousins great great great grandfathers, when they were younger, could never get along, and so their father decided to send them away to find their own lands. Unfortunately, they both found the same place, and there has been much argument since.
--------------------\+/Miscellania and Etceteria\+/----------------------

Many years ago Fremennik sailors discovered these twin islands, and were astounded by the quality of life that they could foresee there. Since then, the two islands have been built up and populated, and now a complex political situation rules their lives. King Vargas of Miscellania and Queen Sigrid of Etceteria, though both lonely monarchs, have developed a particular enmity, so the two islands are constantly on the brink of open war. It is only the fact that neither island actually has anything approaching a military that has kept them from battle thus far. (taken from the Runescape website manual)

--------------------\+/Lunar Isle\+/----------------------
The Lunar Isle was founded when the Fremenniks separated because of the disputes over whether to use magic or not. The side that were for magic sailed away, and finally ended up on Lunar Isle. At the present day the residents of the Lunar Isle are brought up in the world of magic and can easily use their magics without the aid of runes.

------------------------------------------------\+/The History Of The Felip Hills\+/----------------------------------------------
Unfortunatly, not much history has been released on this subject, that I can find, so this section will be very small. Our understanding so far is that The Ogres, who are the main inhabitants of this area, moved here some time in the Forth Age, refused an alliance with The Elves. In their race, the women are the stronger compared to the men, and so the men of the Ogres have retreated to the safety of the mountains, North of the women's camp. The actual area has not much history itself, exept that the whole area used to be dense jungle, but has been destroyed as time went on in the area around the Mountain Range.

------------------------------------------------\+/The History Of Karmaja\+/----------------------------------------------

---------------------\+/Shilo Village\+/----------------------
Shilo Village is a small fishing town on the south side of Karmaja. Lately, Rashiliya has cursed the Village with her undead minions. Fortunately, in the quest 'Shilo Village', an adventurer releases Rashiliya's spirit and so the curse is broken, even though some of her minions remain.
---------------------\+/Brimhaven\+/----------------------
Brimhaven is a port, mainly used by pirates. The area has not much history to tell of, but we can tell, from the Aztec looking Agility course below Brinhaven, that an ancient tribe of some sort must have lived there.

---------------------\+/Tai Bwo Wannai\+/----------------------
Tai Bwo Wannai is home to the Natives of Karmaja. Their culture and way of life has not changed much over the many years of their existence. They worship Gods not known to us and use different currency to most of Runescape. Even though they are far back compared to most on Runescape, they are starting to try to get involved with the world around them with trade and such.

---------------------\+/Musa Point\+/----------------------
Musa Point is a small village on the eastern coast of Karamja. The village manages to thrive off the food industry, by selling foods such as fish and bananas to the shops in Port Sarim. This village has no knowledgeable history.
---------------------\+/Tzhaar\+/----------------------
Tzhaar is the home of the Tzhaar race (hence the name). Tzhaar is a vast area below the Karamja volcano. It is formed by obsidian rocks and lava.(I will talk about the Tzhaar race in the races section, and that will have quite a bit more information, including language, caste and so on).

------------------------------------------------\+/The History Of The Desert\+/--------------------------------------------
------------------\+/A Small introduction\+/----------------------
Much of the History of the Desert is Unknown to me due to its vastness and little retained knowledge of the desert, but I will try to cover what I know. The Desert is said to be the starting place of Human kind, from whence humans spread around the world. The Desert is also the only known place of Zaros worship in these modern days. The Desert'* heat is harsh and water needs to be drunk often in order to survive.

------------------\+/Pollnivneach\+/----------------------
Pollnivneach is a small town which has become overrun by two gangs; the Menaphites and the Bandits. Strangely, most people in the town are called Ali, except for the one called Sumona, who is the Devourer in disguise. Unfortunately there is not much history on the place, but below the ground there is the Smokey Well, where a strange machine stands. You can tell from examining the machine that it was used to create life, but whether we are correct in this assumption is unknown.

------------------\+/Nardah\+/----------------------
Nardah is a small town on the eastern side of the desert. The city were founded by a refugee fleeing from the God Wars, whom Elidinis saved, in return for her and her descendant's worshiip and loyalty. Nardah was always a fertile and moist area, until the citizens disposed of their statue to the Desert God, Elidnis, the God of fertility and growth. Nardah then became a dry, unfertile area where it is a struggle to survive. If an adventurer were to bring back the statue to the people of Nardah, the town would surely flourish again.

--------------------\+/Uzer\+/----------------------

Although Uzer is nothing more than ruins in the present day, it used to be a prosperous City. The City was created in the Second Age, and was inhabited by Humans. The Humans of this City were naturally talented at crafting, and even managed to make items they crafted become animated, such as Golems. In the Third Age, Zamorak promised Thammaron, a favoured demon, the city of Uzer, if he could conquer it. Thammaron saw the City was nearly impeneatrable, and so managed to create a portal within the city, through which his army could enter. As the city was totally unprepared, it was nearly completely destroyed, but the Golems managed to force the Zamorakians back into the portal and mortally wounded Thammaron. Although Uzer managed to survive this invasion, it was destroyed later on in the God Wars. All that is left of this great city is a badly damaged Golem and a few ruins.

--------------------\+/Bedabin Camp\+/---------------------
The Bedabin Camp is home to a small group of Desert Nomads. There is little known of them except that they are few in number and are thought of as outcasts by all the Desert people.
--------------------\+/Bandits Camp\+/----------------------
The Bandits Camp is home to the outcasted Zarosian worshippers. They know much of the past and of Zaros, but do not reveal much of their knowledge, in the fear their worshipping of Zaros may be discovered. When Zaros was killed, the followers of Zaros were rounded up and killed by Saradomin and Zamorack followers. The few who remained fled to the Desert and have been there ever since as Bandits.
Everyone dies.

------------------\+/Ullek\+/----------------------
Although Ullek is nothing more than ruins at the present day, like Uzer, also like Uzer it had an interesting past. The area in which Ullek was situated was heavily wooded back then, which is quite bizarre considering the Desert's harsh heat. The people of Ullek were described as overindulging and greedy, as we can tell from the dreams of Tumeken. The people of the city were mainly carpenters and woodcutters. Towards the end of the Second Age the forest contained only a few trees, most likely due to deforestation. The City had close connections with Uzer throughout the city's existence. When the God Wars started, the Desert was often the site of battles, and finally the demon Balfrug Kreeyath invaded the city and destroyed it. The inhabitants then retreated into the tunnels below the city. They just managed to survive at first with their resorces, but the resources finally died away. The people lukily managed to escape to Menaphos in the end and were accepted into their community.
At the present day, nothing is left of Ullek except a few pillars and the tombs and catacombs below the surface. Recently Scarabites have taken residence in the city's catacombs in order to have solitude. The Devourer has also been active in this area with getting the Scrabite Head Priest to destroy all life. Luckily he was persuaded not to do this by an adventurer.
Everyone dies.
