My entry is below.

Vibrant greens and blues monopolize my view as I inspect the curious object. It brings life to a world devoid of color, sparkling dew running down its petals like teardrops of liquid glass. It illuminates my darkness.

And I will never know courage enough to give it to her.

I scream as the vines ripple out of the ground. They reach up with their prickly thorns and entangle me. The agony rips through my body as I am drawn ever closer to the fertile dirt. As I reach the ground, I wonder... are Spirit Trees worth it?
