I was pouring sweat as I ran the obstacles set before me. The first obstruction was the log covered in slime. This made it very slippery so I walked very slowly across it, trying to make the task as safe as possible since I have fallen into the hole beneath numerous times. When I finished I ran across the grass, feeling the soft blades crush beneath my feet, and curl between my toes.

In a few seconds I was at the next obstacle, the net. The pieces of rope tied together used to daunt me, as I would get wound up in a knot. It was laughable now as I would just shimmy up in a few seconds, by putting my fingers into the small gaps and then using my toes to push myself up.

At the top of the net I pulled myself up onto the wood platform made out of yew planks. I walked across the planks feeling the gritty wood until I reached the tree branch. I climbed the branch by using one of my hands to push the twigs and leaves I don't use, and then using my other hand and my feet to climb up onto another platform, this one made from mahogany planks. These planks were more smooth er the yew planks since they are usually used to make high leveled furniture in many adventurers houses.

After I climbed up the tree branch I got a choice. I had to either walk across a balancing rope or finish climbing the tree. I chose to finish climbing the tree since I was far more superior at the skill of agility than most people. I pushed through all the branches, leaves, and moss and finally came upon the next platform. The planks were made out of a combination of teak and mahogany planks. My feat were in heaven as they slid across the smooth wooden planks.

I looked around and found the next obstacle, a wall of wood that I had to cross to reach another wooden platform. I readied myself, I started to run from about fifteen feet from the edge of the platform to build up enough speed to make it across.

After about half a second my feet touched the wall, and I ran across hoping I wouldn't fall to my death. I made it across, thankfully and stared at the next obstruction in my path.

To complete this obstacle I had to jump to an iron bar, build some momentum, swing to another iron bar, again build some more momentum and then jump onto the last platform. This was my least favorite obstacle since it was the most dangerous. I backed up to give myself a running start, since I wanted the best chance of making it to the first bar as possible.

I breathed in and out to slow down my heart beat, and control my raging fear of dropping. Then I ran, I ran as fast as I possibly could. When I reached the edge of the platform I jumped. I was flying, I flew up into the air and frowned as the wind rushed past my face. Then I started to fall. I looked ahead and smiled, I was going to make it.

When I grabbed the bar I swung forward, then backward, repeatedly for three times before I decided I had enough momentum to reach the next bar. I let go flying through the air again, feeling little pieces of dirt and grit hit my face as I flew through the air. I hit the bar and again, went back and forth three times before I let go.

As I hit the platform, I rolled to let some of the energy disperse so I wouldn't break a bone. This last platform was my favorite, since it was made out of one of the most coveted woods in the whole of Gielinor. The last platform was made out of wood that comes from the magic tree. To build all of the platforms must have cost the gnomes hundreds of thousands of gold pieces. The planks of the last platform alone could have cost over two hundred thousand coins.

I then looked at my favorite obstacle. I went to the middle of the platform and jumped into the tube. As I fell through the steel tube I thought about how easy this agility course had become over time. I stepped out of the tube, and went to start the course again.

The sun peaked over the edge of the hills towards Catherby, it’s soft touches of light caressing the ocean by the Fishing Guild. The ocean lay still, enjoying the sun’s touch of warmth. Fish leapt from beneath the tranquil surface, inviting fishermen to tempt the depths for a game of hide and seek. One boy was already engaged in the game, his face quiet and peaceful. Willows bent over his head, casting their shadows across the boy, almost making a straw hat that lay atop his head useless. A reed was in his mouth, moving with the breeze; a graceful dance just for the boy to watch.

The boy’s fishing line dangled in the water, rippling the surface that was as still as a mirror. Connected to his toe, the boy was the perfect picture of content. A small smile touched his lips as the sun’s rays stroked his face lovingly and he gave his toe a small twitch. The line stretched taut for a second, then slowly faded back and relaxed in the water. The smile never left his face as he imagined the fish below the surface. They swam around the hook and bait, never falling for the old trick, but taunting the fisher above, poking and prodding the line.

The sigh that wove through the breeze was one of peace and happiness. He pulled the reed out of his mouth and placed his hat over his eyes. He relaxed on the lush grass, waiting for a slumber to waylay his senses. As his eyes grew heavy and his breathing deepened, soft sounds were heard in his ears. His smile grew and he fell asleep to the mellow sounds of music.
