Sorry, I know I owe you all an add... and I'll try to have it up ASAP...

Between school, work, and life, these last three weeks have been Hell (and getting worse with each passing day.) And so far this week is following the same suit...

As such, while I'll try to have all the adds up that are due this week (2 adds for WoD, 1 for Monolith) I don't know exactly when they'll be up... I beg your patience on this, I really am at my wit's end with rl stuff.

We (or at least I) understand Niht.
I'm sure we can cope without adds some days.
Wait, you're not going to stop adding, are you? *starts going insane*
Spark! Get out of my head!
Sorry about that, we respect the pressure you're under. :)

Fair warning Niht, Spark reads this, and he is very impatient. He's just a few XP off being able to post his annoyance is all. Keep an eye out for stray fireballs ^_^ .

“The Saradominists are WHERE?!” Zaros' voice echoed throughout the temple, causing his messengers to tremble. Realizing that terrifying his messengers accomplished nothing, the Empty Lord calmed himself and said, “Please, repeat what you said...”

“They passed through a portal in an ancient temple... said something about 'Muspellheim',” commented one of the messengers.

“Muspellheim...” mused Zaros. Of all the worlds, it would be that one, wouldn't it? It was bad enough the Saradominists both knew that some of the Weapons were in other worlds, and had the capability to get there... but something far more pressing was annoying Zaros. Muspellheim, as the land of light, had a possibility of siding with Saradomin; Tenzoku had, after all, helped him in the god wars, and there were rumors that the Icyene were actually a branch off the Tenzoku race...

Zaros knew he could easily defeat Saradomin... but the armies of Muspellheim? Not unless he opened the Pandaemonium Gates before they arrived.

“You seem to be in a difficult situation.”

Zaros' eyes widened, he recognized the voice which had spoken. His servants were also surprised, but for a different reason; the speaker, completely covered by a dark cloak, had walked into the room, even though it was forbidden to do so while Zaros was having an audience.

“Perhaps you would like my help, Zaros?” continued the speaker.

Now the messengers were truly in shock, not only had this person suggested that the “Great Lord” needed help and referred to him by name; he had done so with a condescending tone! Clearly, this person was asking to be obliterated in the most painful way possible.

“Leave us,” Zaros ordered his messengers. They were quick to obey, preferring not to get caught up in the collateral of their god's anger. Once they were gone, Zaros asked, “So what have I done to earn a visit from the Zircon Emperor?”

The intruder flinched. The title “Zircon Emperor” was only used to contrast him with the so-called “Diamond Emperor” and was never meant in a good way. Still, this was no time to pick a fight... he had more important things to do.

“I have a... proposition,” he replied.

“A proposition?” asked Zaros, “Well, I am interested to know what you have to offer; and more so, what it is that you, the Void King are trying to gain.”

The intruder smiled. By using his actual title, Zaros had made it clear he was actually considering this offer.

“It really is quite simple,” said the Void King, “I will immediately provide you with two things; information you will find useful, and the bow you seek; Kalechot.”

Zaros tried to conceal his enthusiasm for the latter and said, “And on my part?”

“As you may know, I am trying to regain control of some... rebel armies,” said the Void King. “I simply want your aid in doing so; after Gielinor is entirely your's of course.” The Void King waited while Zaros “thought about it” fully aware that Zaros was actually trying to figure out how he could betray the Void King after “helping” and take control of the Void for himself. Not that the Void King cared, he wasn't really planning to have Zaros help anyway. The deity was powerful, of course, but would be instantly killed should he fight a Voidal Serpent... The only reason the Void King had even asked Zaros for help was to make the deity unaware of how interested he actually was in Gielinor. Zaros may not have had the Void King's intelligence, but he was no fool either; if he knew the Void King actually cared about Gielinor, he would have instantly known that the Void King was planning to use him as a puppet from some scheme or another. And of course, it was so difficult to control someone who knew you were trying to control him.

“We have a deal,” said Zaros, “I expect to have Kalechot within my possession before the day ends. Now, about that information...”

“Ah yes,” said the Void King, “It's about Muspellheim's current state of affairs... I think you'll enjoy this...”

Somewhere in the back of his head, Kevin knew something was wrong. He had been running for how long now? It seemed like days, and yet he had rarely, if ever, slept... Moreover, his mind was beginning to haze over, his conscious thoughts being clouded by his burning desire... But even as his desire grew, Kevin found it difficult to remember what it was he desired... all he knew was that he desired it. That he must have it. And that the way he was going would take him to what he desired so he could claim it. This thought, and this thought alone is what kept him going. Zaros and the other gods no longer mattered to him, all that mattered was getting his desire... whatever it was.

As he continued running, he noticed something move softly through the nearby undergrowth. By now, he was used to Zarosian ambushes, and so without so much as slowing down, he deftly turned and fired several arrows. Even as he did so, something rocketed out of the undergrowth, and went directly for him. Using the superhuman reflexes he had received with the bow, Kevin dove to the ground, barely getting out of the way as the missile sped though the area his head had been in but a moment ago. Even though it missed, the missile produced a deafening boom which knocked Kevin to the ground. However, the fugitive Zarosian simply somersaulted and was quickly back on his feet, intuitively turning in the direction the missile had gone, rather than the one it had come from.

“Well, I can't say I don't like your work, Kalechot,” a disembodied voice proclaimed.

Looking around, Kevin saw what had nearly pierced through his head a moment earlier. It was a single black nail, nearly as long as his forearm, and bearing glowing symbols and the statue of a demon on it's top.

*Asmodai!” hissed a voice that came from Kalechot.
