On your other comment; I had meant that part of the add to have occurred after Isamu had gotten away from everyone else (remember the cult elders weren't there either.) Zaros decided that it would be... unbeneficial... for Orcris to hear an order to genocide a group. However, I had already reached twelve pages at that time and was a bit reluctant to write in an action I thought could be ignored.
As for my computer problems and my career choice... Because I have the knowledge to do so, I normally push my computer much farther than a normal person does. My first personally owned computer was an old desktop without internet connection that someone threw out as "unrepairable" I took it apart, studied it, put it back together and got it to work
(I was 13 at the time.)
Then I got a laptop for my sixteenth birthday... within two years I had managed to push the processor to a point where the CPU fan was broken. So I built my own makeshift cooling device, and managed to have it last for another year. Then certain components of the motherboard were overworked to a point where they broke.
My second laptop lasted a year and a half, surviving an incident where my one of my sisters purposely poured hot coffee on it. The CPU fan also broke on that one, same reason... then it finally died when I tested a program I had designed with code that attempted to fill up all available space in the main memory (okay, fine, most people would call it a 'virus') and it proved more powerful than I predicted and overwrote memory in the OS shell... (Oh, right... C++ is meant to have the power of assembly language... oops...) and killed my computer. (Sadly I had lost the factory restore disc, but I hated that computer anyway.)
This time... it seems to be a manufacturing error... (aka not my fault, for once.) "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

Indeed "Nyx" refers to the Primordial Greek Goddess of night..
In which case, thats where my esteemed title "Reaper of Night" comes into place...
If it was Nix my title would be more of "Reaper of Water spirits" as cham-bO stated....and thats just lame...
As for the chaos elemental, blinded you are, to think such a creature under my control would be in any way good for you?

Dogone, when I first started playing RS, my account's name was Morsrex; latin for "death king" (don't I sound like the sort of person you'd like to meet in a dark alley? lol) I think I still even remember the pass for that account, even though it's been like 6 years since I made it... Anyway, I liked the name per se, but since a lot of people don't know Latin, they read it without the second 'r' and thought my name meant something far different
As such, I made a second account, "Aquaregis" once again using Latin, but this time actually trying to use proper grammar... and failing miserably. My goal was to make my name mean "King of water" (Aquae Rex or Aquaerex) but as I was a first year student of Latin at the time I applied the genitive form to the wrong word and thus got the name "Aquaregis" (Water of the king.) I wasn't aware of my mistake until I had put about a month's work into that account, and thus opted not to discard it.
As you probably guessed, I first started writing before there were display names (the first popular story I wrote was actually this story, although it was quite a bit different than it is now.) And had a character sharing my name in that story; he originally played an important role in the story. However, as I progressed, I made him more and more powerful, and when I decided to rewrite this series, I kept him extremely powerful, and someone eventually pointed out to me (in nicer terms) that I was godmodding... As such I decided to remove myself from the story, and killed my character off in The Black Pentagram.
Anyway, I'm rambling, to answer your question briefly; Originally my name was Aquaregis, and some people who knew me before display names were made still call me Aqua as an abbreviation of that.
