Did I know he could do that?
she thought, but dismissed it and went on with the next part of her plan. Picking up her harp, she played a few notes, and the wooden wall of her room warped, creating a hole that she could fit through. Motioning to Robnoxious, she played a single further note and jumped out. The magic she had conjured made her landing as light as a feather, and the fact that her room was on the back side of the building meant she could slip out the back without anyone from the party noticing her.

And slip out she did, exiting the area through the northeast area of the town and heading in that direction. She knew where to go, and the distance did*’t matter.

As for the flute, it remained in the building for a while, long enough to complete the task that Siera had silently asked it to do. That included flying over to the Tempora Sage and poking him gently, offering him the note that was tied to it. It would be a strange image, the flute flying around him with a note on it, and Siera’s hope had been that he would know enough to take it and read it before everyone else did.

Assuming he did, or that anyone else did - although the flute would avoid everyone besides the Tempora Sage should they try to climb up and get it - the note, written in a somewhat hurried hand, would read:

First and foremost, I apologize for asking you to reveal this to everyone. You appear to be the most...tempered out of everyone here, and the most likely to respect my request. I would like it if you would not reveal this to everyone else until you are too far from the town for it to matter. I am leaving, and I do not wish to reveal my destination. There is something that I need to take care of, and I do not wish for anyone to follow me. Your task is far more important to the world than my own, and I would be a disservice to your mission with this matter on my mind.

Please apologize to everyone for me.

Siera

Annie had no chose to stopped the building roof falling on the group but the result of doing that she had to take down her force field around Azul. When the force field down the other group members vanquished the demon and it went back into Kuro. She didn't need the force field anymore so she took it down. She felt so tired from she useing so much power from everything she had down with her magic. She heard what Tempora Sage told her about Arran. She repiled in a tired voice,"Maybe you are right but I just hoped that Arran would help me to make a portal to free that demon and guide me to be the best demigod I can be because I'm so new to this. Anyway when are we going to start my training with you?" All she wanted to do right now was go to sleep and recharge.

Then she heard Etheldredda they had to leave. Then she asked in a tired voice," can we stay for a little bit so I can rest so I can get my energy back? Who is wanted from this group?"

She looked at Joric as he was telling them that Judy had betrayed them by not doing anything about the demon infront of her and the pentagram that had been drawn underneath Kuro. She was very shocked about this news. She said in a tired voice," we need to find her and stop her. I don't know where she went."

Judy was running out of the town going east. She was very scared if the group found her they might kill her on the spot or something worse. So she planned to stay ahead of them so they can't get her. She was getting really tired that she might need to make camp soon but she kept going to get a few miles ahead of the group.

After the energy was removed from Kuro...

It seemed to work as Kuro's body relaxed after Siera removed her harmony like energy out of his. He even begins to move a little bit after Siera walked away from them. He grips his sword and gets up to his knees as his strength returns to him.

He stands up slowly a bit wobbly he gets up and sees Annie and hears about Judy he then said with a bit of bitterness in his voice,
"Let the traitor go, if I see her again I will run her through with my sword."

Kuro looks himself over, someone saved him he had a fair idea who did it and he would find a way to thank her later. Thinking about how this started as well he needed to prevent anyone from attempting this again or next time this could be disastrous.

The thought came to him to leave to protect the others. Should he stay around the others when someone could just easily and try to free Azul from him as he sleeps. Kuro then said,
"Yeah we gotta go."
Kuro made his mind up there he was going to leave the group in order to protect them from Azul.

Kuro slings his sword over his shoulder made his way out of the building carefully as the other discussed he was going to go to his horse and just ride off before the others can figure out what he was doing. He gets out to his horse and mounts up, picking a random direct and try to avoid the others as he just left. Going to whatever city he can find if he cant get that far. Even after that last fight how far can he go on his own...
and nothing was spoiled :P

The Road North – Re-ressurection

Kat sat for quite a while, watching her friends sleeping; who knows what went through her mind? Alicia had managed to be spared from the nightmare of the past, having resisted the mechanoid's calling, proving her vast willpower. Alicia kept watch, noticing tears during Alania's sleep; do sleeping people cry? What a saddening thing to behold, but she could not be blamed, for such sights she had seen.

But Charles had awoken, much to Kat's relief, as did Alania, the old knight coughing storngly. With Alania's quest to change at least the Newborn, which was definitely a possibility due to that Spirry's young state, and The Road North moving on regarding Mugwo and the, well, plan, things seemed to go as planned. Kat did not seem to know much about what had really happened regarding the two Spirrys, but Charles was probably the contrast to Alania.

Spirry had caused quite the strange string of events, having suddenly appeared, attacked a few Ogres for no reason, left without giving anyone a chance to talk much, journeyed into the depths of the world and unleashed a horrifyingly indomitable force, and then realized he had bilocated in another time and place that then caught several peoples' minds, yet not changing any viewpoints. The rather scary nightmare did reinforce Alania's will to try and save the Newborn, which was not something he had expected, but he did remember the offer of friendship. He was a rather subtle fellow, everywhere and nowhere at the same time, exactly as he had said, never able to stay in one spot for too long, always on the move.

But, he would go east and slaughter, exactly as the “Eight-legged One” instructed him to, an eldritch being of immense size, to lead them towards Ogrin. Perhaps the Ogres' sudden exposure to magic was not accidental? But he also recalled Soahc's mention of meeting him at a mountain, but Spriry did not know which mountain, but he would meet that God of Chaos again, eventually.

Although not Mechanical, Newborn was still one of the same being, and so they had the same thoughts, the same mind, always knowing what the other was thinking, yet choosing to go different paths. Perhaps the only way one could be free of the other, was for one to be destroyed. This seemed to be Mechanical's plan.

Newborn did not know where he was, but if Alania was fully conscious, she may be able to “sense” or “feel” Spirry's mind, and he was nearby, probably within the woods a distance away, out of the boundaries of the encampment, but probably along the way of wherever she had to go with the rest of the force here. If she chose to investigate when the time comes, which could be sooner or later.

If she, or anyone else who felt Spirry's presence, decided to go seek out Newborn, they would gradually come upon a ghastly sight: leaking down trees and their canopy would be blood, dropping gently here and there, with lengths of flesh, intestines, brains, eyeballs on the ends of red strands, tendons, hearts, lungs, skin, torn muscles, and veins hanging from amidst the branches and foliage, as if a hectare of the forest had been thoroughly decorated with multiple bodies that had been turned inside out. It'd make the ground rather slippery.

Oddly enough, all of this excess tissue, did not seem to have been taken from other bodies, for the bases of the flesh and organs had, apparently, grown out of the trees and branches, as if flesh was squeezing its way into the grooves of bark, wrapping around branches, and coiling around trunks, and some of these articles of tissue having stretched from branch to branch.

Another oddity was that some of the lengths of flesh, tendons or guts, or eyeballs, hearts, lungs, livers, kidneys, or skin hanging down from the branches, were, apparently, swaying or flicking around on their own accord. Newborn would be waiting.

Demons and Fire, Part 2

The lances had hit, and they had seemed to do little. It certainly affected him, since she saw that he actually stopped bleeding for a moment, but that was nowhere near enough for the effect she wanted. It still wasn’t exactly clear what this demon was, but it was clear that it was powerful. A single lance was able to knock the walls of a building apart and set it aflame, and he had taken both without seeming to be greatly bothered.

Whatever abilities he had were obviously great enough to hijack and utilize a summoning portal from someone else, and that was a bit worrying to anyone with half a brain. Demons never acted without an agenda, and if he was purposely going this way to seek Soahc out - as his words seemed to indicate that he was, although it did*’t sound like he actually knew Soahc was here - then there was something he hoped to gain by it. The current group was suspicious enough in their loyalties, enough that Kira suspected she was the most loyal - which was a joke in itself - and the addition of another demon like this to their ranks was something she did*’t really want to see.

He had not, however, fought back, and Ryokin seemed uninterested in doing anything but making deals. That was extremely irritating, but it also posed enough of a threat to her that she did not attack again. Two demons, both of whom held a reasonable amount of power, was not a fight she currently felt comfortable in taking on. Even if Ryokin did not join the fight, this new adversary seemed to be at nearly full potential, whereas she, although not horribly drained, did not have the strength that she had at the beginning of the night.

Continuing her circling observation, Kira waited, watching and seeing what this discussion between demons would being. She trusted neither, but currently did not seem to have a choice in the matter.

Hamstead - Ya Boy Zed

Zed's eyes slowly fluttered open as he slowly, unconsciously noticed an alarming level of dust in the air. Did he smell smoke?

He sat up and drowsily noticed that the building had been destroyed. The walls had been shattered by some immense force and the roof had collapsed as well. A large wooden beam sizzled four inches next to where Zed had been sleeping. Impossibly, Zed had been untouched by the collateral damage of the magical clash of demons and heroes that had occurred while he slumbered. It felt like he had slept for six months!

Nearby, only a few of his group were visible. Joric, Rovaan, and Etheldredda, the latter of which seemed unhappy about something. Picking up his staff and pulling himself up to his feet, he yawned. "What did I miss?"
Ramsay Bolton is the king we deserve.

Hamstead rubble pile

Conleth blinked once or twice, clearly trying to digest what had just happened. In the heat of battle he hadn’t been able to reflect on the situation like this, but now it was over he was just beginning to realize how bizarre this whole affair was. Some eldritch abomination had appeared from seemingly nowhere – as he thought this, his face took a slightly squeamish expression, but apparently it wasn’t quite enough to make him lose his dinner – before total chaos had ensued.

One party member had undergone a complete transfiguration, another had tried to help the thing that was attacking them, there was some sort of music, some kind of spell that had stopped the building crushing them, their leader had been knocked out, he couldn’t even remember it in the correct order, so much had just happened.

It did*’t take long, however, to register that they did, indeed, need to leave soon. Conleth knew already that people here were less than fond of magic and its users, and about…almost their entire party were magic users.

“Yeah…” he replied to Ethledredda, “It probably only a matter of time before an angry mob comes to attack us with pitchforks and torches. They’re really punctual these days.”

Luckily, he had eyes and ears almost everywhere, even if they weren’t the most acute. He sent all three of his sparrows off in various directions, before sending his kite to soar high above them, scouting the nearby area.

One of the sparrows headed north-east, one south-west, and one stayed in the centre of the town with the kite, since there were likely a lot of people here, and it was nearer to the B&B, so they may have heard the noise. They would attempt to get information off local birds if possible, although the kite would most likely scare most of them away.
