Gunner's blunderbuss went swinging towards the rooftop where Black Axe watched with his single eye, between that and his lack of ears and thick tuft of black beard, he made a fearsome sight. "Soahc's tired of gaming. Now we leave." With that, Black Axe turned and left. After a while, Gunner Ryold turned to leave too, coming into contact with a finely-dressed foreigner, Ahad.

"Well, you 'ear* the man, let's move," said Gunner, gesturing for the Khaliyan to follow. Either he was too ignorant of his own allies to realise that Ahad was not one of his mercenary contemporaries, or else had assumed someone standing around a fight scene as casually as Ahad was must'** meant that he was wanting to join in the murderous festivities.

Onslaught of Oakfoot- Cain and the Cathedral

Raspur Cain ran, hand clutching arm, panic in his face and in his every movement. Poison! Blast it, Raspur Cain would not go out like this, writhing in the dirt like a starved dog. He'd find that devil Soahc and wrangle his neck for a cure, and if the demigod didn't offer him one, he'd cut the man's throat open and drink his life blood.

But it wasn't Soahc that the mercenary leader ran into, but a man in full-metal armour, a ridiculously long plateskirt scraping along the floor, two great horns stretching a good four-feet into the air to give him a devilish appearance, though the horns were far too thin to look that intimidating.

"Sword, you filth, sword!" He cried out to the knight, who handed Raspur the weapon. Biting his own bottom lip, Raspur raised the weapon into the air, holding his infected arm outwards, ready to cut off the poison at its source-

"You are not poisoned," the knight told Raspur plainly.

"Yer- yer what?" Stammed the aged merc, who had been swinging the sword downwards and had only stopped himself at the final moment.

"You're perfectly fine, minus your negligent hygiene practises."

"You're a funny little f***er, eh?" Raspur remarked, though the man he spoke to was breaking eight feet.

"I do not joke. There is no poison circulating your body."

Raspur grimaced, dropped the sword, then laughed. The laugh of a man who knew himself to be alive. "That greasy ******!" He called out, his laugh quickly stopping as he remembered the assassin who had fooled him so. Raspur regarded the warrior he faced, the tallest man in his retinue. He'd speak when spoken to, but otherwise remained silent. It wasn't lost on Raspur that Soahc himself seemed to be uneasy around this mystery warrior, whom Raspur had internally dubbed the Devil Knight. If there was something about this man that could throw off a god, then Raspur definitely wanted him aboard.

Especially when Soahc was so prone to betrayal, as Raspur had just witnessed first hand.

The demigod in question was beaming from ear to ear. He'd watched Raspur's merry little jaunt, his headless-chicken run through the streets, with great amusement. The mercenary's death would have made little consequence to Soahc, but still, he did not wish for the man's death. Every piece had its part to play. Soahc fancied himself a collector of the pieces, a master of the chess board. No one on the planet had the sense of scope that he did, seldom knew even a fraction of his plot. Schemes within schemes, misdirection, smokes and shadows, these were the allies of Soahc the Deceiver.

He pondered whether his back-up plan had reached the bridge yet as he made his way towards Oakfoot's cathedral, watching with mild bemusement as Ubaid's greatest assets, which the primordial ghost referred to as the Twins , raced past. Clearly Soahc was missing quite a show, and Soahc did so sorely hate to miss a show.

"Ah, look who it is!" Soahc said brightly as Brodus and Kira approached, leaving the cathedral behind. Distracted by the two's arrival, the demigod would not notice the scene within the cathedral whatsoever, instead focusing the entirety of his attention to the two attractive, powerful henchmen he had acquired.

"It's time we leave," he said, loud enough for his voice to carry towards the religious building so that Ubaid would also get the message. "Brodus, do forgive my... sporadic decision to halt your conflict. I'm such a misunderstood god, I just don't know who to trust," his eyes were large as a puppy's, his smile as deadly as venom. "But I can trust you though, right Brodus? You want to be my friend, don't you?"

The Plucky Hecatonchire

Sephys Suran, the peculiar man that had come to Desmo, released him as he asked. "Excuse me, my lord, for being so presumptuous," he charted off, scuttling a step backwards and bowing respectfully in order to ease the tension. "I wished only to aid in your swift recovery, as is my trade-"

"We're not interested in your help," Rickard Herring said sternly, and tittering more, the man bowed again and retreated, clearly understanding that he had been beaten. Turning back to Desmo, and letting the sidekick comment slide for now, he said, "Well, I guess that's the last we'll see of him. How about we see if I can get those thorns out?"

Before Rickard could say anything else, there was a triumphant yell from the other side of the bar as Karstone Greatjohn finished his pint."Tha's it!" He called out loudly, with the surety of one who was half-drunk. "We've all dawdled 'ere long enough! Ah say it's time f' us to leave! Let's see wha' these ogre folks are all about!"

Clasping Balmor the dwarf on the shoulder, Karstone gave him a warm smile. "Tag along! A friend wi' loose change is a friend indeed! Ah think I 'member someone tellin' me that once." He contemplated on who it might have been, frowned darkly at some memory, but was soon jostled out of this by Henry's comment, laughing heartily at the man's good humour.

"Yah've a wicked spirit, Compton," Karstone praised the man, before turning to Alicia. "Aye, what indeed. These ogres are more danger than anythin', an' all the kings o' the south are worried about are the conjurings of mage apprentices an' clans of old women sages, an' layin' with their own cousins, 'course." He smiled again to reveal his poor dental hygiene."All the more reason for us to go, an' now a' that."

Karstone had raised himself to his feet, and walking towards the door, gesturing for all to follow.Meanwhile, Alania Clarke (of Engelain) was smiling politely at Henry Compton. This Henry was a good talker, she noted quickly, his upper class tones highlighted even further by the rough-and-gruff talk of Karstone. "We are indeed. My last two adventures were spent on boats, I look forward to fighting on dry land for once." She tapped her sword pommel affectionately- it was clear she thought herself as much of a noble knight as Henry did himself.

"Though I hope things do not come to that, truly," she added hastily. "Anyway, it seems your friend is itching to get off," she nodded towards Karstone's exit and turned to follow. "You coming?"

Brodus

Before Brodus could think up some sort of clever response, Soahc had already appeared before them. There would be no punishment for not killing Ubaid. That was good - at least Soahc wasn't that unfair. He flicked his visor back up to talk to his new lord.

"It's quite alright." Brodus began. "Though I was looking forward to taking that ghost's soul, I have a feeling this little adventure will yield much more. And as for trust... that's pretty hard to come by these days, I'll admit - especially among people like ourselves. But..." He swept his hand in a wide arch at all the death and destruction surrounding them. "...So long as it it leads to more fun like this, I won't let you down."

"In fact... I swear on whatever honour as a knight I have left. And I assure you, what little honour I do have left is very sacred to me."

Joric Ironfist

Run. Run. Run.

It had taken a lot of effort just for Joric not to be completely left in the dust by Annie and Zed. By the time he had arrived and delivered his pun, he was out of breath, so he stood there for several seconds panting.

And then the River Troll came out of water. Which Annie then proceeded to set on fire. Which meant Joric could not engage it in close combat. Which meant he was useless.

No! He refused to be useless! Noticing that the troll was now standing directly over Kuro, it was time for some classic demoralization tactics.

"Hey, Grumpy Troll!" He yelled out, hoping that the beast would at least look in his direction. If not, he would continue on anyways.

"What, no riddle!?"

---

Alicia Vendal

"Perhaps he'd rather be in some five star tavern down south." Alicia said, locking eyes with Henry. "I'm surprised he even came this far." It was, of course, a dig at his seemingly upper class background. "Unless you care to prove me wrong?"

Annie saw that both of her attacks hits the troll and that made her so thrilled. Then she shot fire with lighting in it, rock spikes and lava balls at the troll. After that attack she drew her sword and run towards Kuro and the other who are fighting the troll with their swords and other weapons.

Judy rolled her eyes at the guild master and said,"I can keep myself safe because I know how to fight. I don't need your protection. If you are the greatest fencer you will help them!" She drew her sword getting ready to fight.

The Bridge

A troll, it was a giant troll, and now more magic, he was flung forward he tucked and rolled back up to his feet. His horse was trapped, and whatever was going on just made him angry. He unwrapped his hand that he doesn't hold his sword in and cut it open then coated his blade with his blood.

"Die you disgusting beast!", He slashed his sword at the giant troll sending a slash wave of blood that turned into a slicing blade at the same time the aura sent out an energy slash wave infusing his aura into the blood slash. Doing everything he could think of just to try and hurt this troll.

Ryokin
"No deal fine" Ryokin said just shrugging off the fact that the hag didn't want to make a deal then the other one appeared one that seemed to be friendlier then her sister. He then said, "It is a pleasure meeting you." He walked with her as she asked he then said, "She swore an oath to Soahc that is fascinating. Also you know my name, either you listened to our conversation or you know me, ether way it doesn't mean much to me."

He said then said, "Too bad your sister declined my offer, maybe you can benefit from something she denied herself"

Balmor

Balmor smiled the moment he was told to come with, he then said, "Alright then what are we waiting for!" He walked out the doors following people out. He figured he would go along, this would be a great opportunity to make some money.
and nothing was spoiled :P

Zed

"Not sure who would get into a fist fight with a troll after you set him on fire." Zed took a step back as the River Troll's was set aflame by Annie, and she proceeded to launch even more fiery spells at the beast. Evidently she didn't give a newt's ass about collateral damage or friendly fire. She didn't even care about herself apparently, as she charged the still flaming monster.

He had to extinguish it somehow, so he considered channeling water from the river, which would save him energy from trying to ***** out the flame under his own power. But he thought up a quick way to put out the beast before Annie roasted herself and Kuro, and slow it down at the same time.

Zed raised his staff and launched a powerful stream of aqueous, soapy foam at the River Troll's legs. The foam would extinguish the flame, and wouldn't run the risk of spreading current from Annie's lightning the same way water would. If it weren't for that demonic shield of his, Kuro would likely have been fried. The troll's arms would have to wait though, Zed didn't have nearly as much raw power as Annie so he couldn't just sling a dozen spells haphazardly.

Henry

Henry caught Alicia's glare, and opened his mouth to say something, when her words truly struck him. In the span of a heartbeat, he glanced down at his armor—scratched but still splendid. He wasn't technically of noble birth, but he had been born into wealth and his father was eventually lorded all the same. He never kept this a secret, but still he ran from it. He brawled with tavern drunks, wrestled with ogres, hunted beasts, killed men on the battlefield. He could go on for days about how he'd done as much as any other adventurer worth his coin, but he could never accomplish enough. Not for himself. Not since...

He looked up and noticed everyone was leaving. Karstone was departing with the others, and Alania was waiting for him. "Uh, yes." He bit his lip. "We're off, then." He rubbed his hands together and followed the others out.

---

Sileo

As soon as Sileo saw that he drew blood, he disengaged and stepped away from Kristov to avoid any wild swings. It wasn't an instant kill, but a man could pass out from a severed femoral in as little as thirty seconds. Soon after, he'd bleed out.

"Unless you want to lose enough blood to drown in the puddle, I'd suggest dropping the sword and using both hands as a pressure bandage." Sileo recommended. He didn't have to die—he wasn't the target Soahc had assigned. Assuming Kristov had enough fluid left in his brain to hear him, he'd do well to heed the assassin's advice. In a last burst of rage, he could very well lash out at Sileo, but with his lower limb losing arterial supply, he'd be far too slow to do anything.

"As for you..." He glanced over at the Shrouded Elf, who had been shot in the shoulder and was lying in the dirt. "Meh. Walk it off I guess?"
