Assuming Kuro noticed and decided to take the note, it read, “
I’m sorry to bother you, but I never got the chance to ask earlier. Is there any chance you could teach me to use a sword? You can think about it, just please let me know when we make camp tonight if you can.
* There was dog slobber on the pages as well, but the words were still legible.

The hellpup remained next to the horse while Kuro read the note, looking like he was waiting to take the notebook back once the note was delivered. Siera still needed it, after all.

That was when Rovaan brought up the watch order, and she held up nine fingers to indicate that she wanted the last watch. Her preference would have been first watch, but a young woman that she recognized as being with Annie asked for it before she could. Although she did*’t sleep like everyone else did, Siera preferred not to take her rest in two installments if she could help it.

The Crimson Negotiator

Moving through Oakfoot now was nothing like it had been a short while before. The town was utterly destroyed, the work of the army of chaos having been swift and efficient. Where there had once been people and places to burn, there was now corpses and flaming timbers, and anything that still lived was either one of Soahc’s minions or an inhabitant hiding for their lives. Most of the former had given up pursuing the latter, but there were still some running in and out of homes to try and find the last scraps of flesh to feast upon.

Kira left them all alone. She had something that had to be done, and the amount of the town burning was enough to sate her appetite for destruction. It might be her preference to set it all on fire, to make the town nothing more than a fireball, but that would likely anger her current allies. While she cared little for their opinions, she knew that she needed Soahc’s assistance and did*’t trust him to take her side. She did*’t trust him at all, really, but if he could help her accomplish what she wanted more than anything else she did*’t care if he was planning on betraying her. The betrayal was an assured thing, and all she could do was be prepared for it to happen.

The Cathedral was an easy thing to find, and one of the buildings that did not have fire consuming it. From within came the sounds of battle, echoing eerily throughout the silent streets adjacent. There was nothing happening nearby, and that made it clear that she was already entering into the middle of a fight. A pity, really, but nothing that she hadn’t expected. Soahc liked to play with his toys far too much, and she could appreciate that when it wasn’t her job to try and stop two from ripping each other apart. That was just annoying, especially when she couldn’t kill either of them.

Shaking her head with a sigh, the pyromistress pushed aside the arrow-filled door and stepped inside, stopping at the edge of the battle that raged within. She had to admit, it was somewhat impressive. Both sides had a legion of their own, and those clashed even as the commanders fought for dominance. Spirits against risen corpses and a swordsman against a necromancer, both sides seemed to be on somewhat even footing. It looked to be early enough that there was a chance for her to be successful, but at the same time that meant it was unlikely that they would actually listen.

Seeing some sort of dark tendril extend itself from the swordsman’s blade, Kira’s eyes flashed red and she took a step forward. Between the two combatants, and in the way of the dark tendril, a wall of fire sprang into existence, a foot higher than either combatant and fifteen feet long with the combatants in the middle. It was designed with a dual purpose in mind. The first was that it was designed to block and disintegrate whatever the swordsman was firing towards the necromancer, and the second was to separate the two combatants and let them know that someone else was here. That would make it more likely that they would hear what she said next, and she really did*’t feel like repeating herself many times. Despite its proximity to them, though, it should not hit anything involved in the combat besides the tendrils from Brodus’ sword.

That’s enough, boys! Your lord and master has decreed that playtime is over!
” she called, keeping to the edge of the battle. Her cloak remained unlit, an oddity for a time when she was using fire magic, and her eyes returned to green once the wall had come into being. Although her purpose was to stop them from fighting, part of her did*’* want them to. It was easier to destroy one and claim it as an accident, although she knew enough about Soahc to know that he wouldn’t be too happy with that.

Kuro heard the hellpup, he looked he saw it holding the notebook that he knew belonged to Siera and read the message, he wish he could write back but he had nothing to write with so he then gave the notebook back to the hellpup and said, "Alright, good boy, you can take that back to Siera."

It surprised Kuro that someone would ask him to teach them how to use a sword, he was actually feeling honored to be able to teach someone what he knows. He was going to accept and try and teach Siera when he gets a chance to. He had not problem doing that, in fact he would help him as well keeping his mind off of his own thoughts.
and nothing was spoiled :P

Brodu*

Out of the three scenarios that probably would have occured after Brodus's attack, none of them actually happened

Suddenly, there was a wall of fire between him and his opponent. Where the hell did that come from? And then a female voice spoke up, and he turned to look at the woman who just entered the room. He mentally willed the spearmen to stop attacking and instead limit themselves to strictly blocking. But if Ubaid did not call of his undead within the next few seconds, the spearmen would resume their normal strategy. Meanwhile the mages would continue to maintain their barriers.

Soahc had called for a ceasefire? He flipped up his visor to reveal an incredulous look on his face. "But he said..." And then the look vanished, replaced by one of understanding. "Oh..." This was the God of Chaos they were talking about here.

"Now that's where we have a problem." He told her. "Because Soahc specifically told me I had to defeat one of his most powerful followers. Given his reputation, it wouldn't surprise me if he sent you here just to make this fight more entertaining. So, what happens when I go back empty-handed?" He asked her, keeping an eye on Ubaid in case he tried to take advantage of this ceasefire.

Hello, as I have said, here I am to read.

It seems that this RP creates a story with multiple plotlines, and users go through the plotline they choose.

"A spiked mace was hooked at her belt”
As an fyi, a leather frog was used for holding shafted weapons; it’s essentially a loop of leather or a length of leather with a metal ring, of which the shaft would be dropped through.

Speaking of which, I suppose the RP is rather realistically-focused? As in, it’s not envisioned as RuneScape gameplay mechanics? As a swordsman in real-life, who also practises in chainmail or plate armour, I’d be able to describe some moves realistically, but that may not be acceptable. Anyways, this first plotline is about an inn, and an odd-masked woman speaks to a guy about a Champion’s Guild. Funnily enough, she hits him, for whatever reason, and then reveals her past. The Hagcoven intro ends shortly after.

The next intro begins with the mercenaries et al following the demon lord. Oddly enough, they seem to be wandering in their equipment without supplies. The intro ends shortly after mentioning a hamlet. Considering the size of the raiders, they’d do better attacking a larger settlement. This intro ends at that.

Next intro begins in another inn, which has adventurers, pilgrims, and merchants. An elf and an armoured guy appear, too. The characters discuss locations and occurrences. I find that this third intro has much better storytelling that the previous two. Note that “birdman” is slang for drug dealer XD
After using the bathroom, Rickard is strangled by some guy who then goes into his mouth. Intro ends at that.

A bit alter, you describe the geography, the religion, and history. Mentioning are elven races, the collapse of the empire, and kingdoms. After that, there is a list of the species. Then, views on magic, gods, and some info on the hags and ogres. Character list is next, also showing bios.

Page 4 has some info on a few buildings it would seem. On the post about The Plucky Hecatonchire, it seems to allude that the guy who died of a heart attack was the one strangled. The thread opens after that. I found that you world-building is quite good, you could make this into a full-length story.

Well, that’s a lot of details! I don’t think I can remember all of that. In fact, I already forgot most of it, so I might have to go back and reread parts later.

Going through the posts by other users, I noticed that they start their RP at the locations/settings. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if I can read through the next hundred posts, so I don’t think I can contribute to this seeing as so much already happened. Is there a way to find out what’s going on for the time being? Seeing as I’* pretty late, I’m not sure how this works.

But at least I read your story-portion of this RP! I like how you fully develop this world while providing multiple plotlines and multiple characters. You also have good descriptions of actions and character interaction, involving humour despite the apocalyptic conditions.

I’ll have to wait and see how I can continue along with this RP, if possible.

Farmlands

Receiving the notebook between his teeth, the hellpup turned around and bounded back towards the main group. Given that he had moved up to the man on horseback only moments before, it was clear enough that he wasn’t the harbinger of an attack, and his cheery demeanor and lack of concern for the surrounding area indicated that he wasn’t aware of anything nefarious going on around them. Of course, he could just be blissfully unaware, but his increased protectiveness of his master in recent days seemed to say that he wasn’t going to ignore something that may be a threat.

The musician greeted him with a pat on the head and a short scratch behind the ears, grateful that he had delivered the message that she had been too nervous to ask in person. Why it had been so difficult to actually pose the question, she wasn’t sure. Perhaps it had been because she did*’* want everyone to start questioning whether or not she would be helpless, a damsel in distress, or perhaps it had been because she hadn’t felt as though the time had been right to ask. They would be moving quickly, after all, and asking for this now might be imposing on him.

Or maybe it was simply because she did*’* want to use a weapon. None had ever felt right to her, and before she had been pulled from her Citadel she had never managed to find one she could wield. Everything about them felt wrong, mainly because there was no weapon that was not made for the express purpose of harming another person. It wasn’t right, for nothing should be able to only hurt. Weapons and those that wielded them brought only death where they went, no matter what the intentions of the user.

It wasn’t until she retrieved the notebook that she realized how badly it had been slimed. That was after she put her hand right on the dog slobber and grimaced, although it also made her giggle – or at least go through the motions of it, since she was silent as always - at the realization that she had not even thought about this consequence. It rendered the notebook completely unusable until it dried, and even then she doubted it would function exactly the same. Still, it would be usable; dog slobber wasn’t the worst thing that could happen to a notebook. At least the message had been delivered, and she would get a reply one way or the other at the end of the day.

Death-Ridden Cathedral

If he had sent me to fight you, you would be dead.
” Kira replied, rolling her eyes. This man might have these spirit warriors at his command, but if he was stupid enough to think that he could defeat both her and the necromancer – who he was already evenly matched with – then she wasn’t sure why Soahc would want him on their side anyways. It was somewhat disappointing if that was the case, since he had the appearance of someone that might look half-decent without the armor. Most people that wore plate armor were good to look at, even if they usually weren’t all that much fun. Knights and their ridiculous moral codes were tiresome, although interrupting their tirades with a nice heating of their armor never ceased to amuse her.

Besides,
” she said, touching a bench and causing it to burst into flame a moment before she vanished and reappeared out of the end of the fire wall, now standing several feet away from the two combatants yet out of the minion fight, “
You should have realized by now that Soahc loves to play with his toys. You provide a great deal of amusement, but it seems he’d prefer to have both of you alive right now. Broken toys can*t be used again, after all.

The fire on her cloak died down and her eyes, red from the second she had touched the bench, turned green again as she finished with, “
So if you want to keep fighting, please do. I could use the entertainment too, and he never said you couldn’t fight. I’m just here to tell you not to hurt each other beyond the point of usefulness.

Winking at the pair, Kira made a small fire break out in the cathedral’s rafters, and she vanished into the fire wall once again. As one might expect, the fire in the rafters was where she went to, taking a seat to observe what the pair would do. To make it better, the wall of fire that she had put up died down the second she reappeared up above, along with every other fire she had set since entering the cathedral. It seemed that the rafters were still in good shape, able to support her weight quite nicely, and so it would be a good place to observe the outcome of the situation without having to become involved again.
