Sileo

"Yes, yes, we've had quite enough character development. Let's cut the exposition and get back to gratuitous acts of violence." Sileo stepped past Soahc, impatient with all the manipulative scheming and tension between the various evildoers in the Demi-god's host. But the assassin was pleased that he would be well-paid, assuming gold still had any value after Soahc's game was done.

Zed

Zed almost whistled when he saw the gathering of Hags and their spawn. He was looking forward to an all-out brawl, but that would be suicide. Etheldredda briskly and quietly assigned tasks, and she ordered the albino to free the demon, or at least that's what he thought she intended.

He thought about merely loosing his bonds telekinetically, but if they could hold that demon, they were surely guarded against such direct interference. Or at least that's how Zed overanalyzed it. The albino leveled his staff, took careful aim, and loosed a condensed bolt of orange flame at the ensnared demon, hoping to burn through his bonds.

Cirion

"Truthfully, I do not know how many soldiers you would need." Cirion confessed. "I don't know the exact size of their army. But they were able to overrun and raze three human villages to the ground. The third one was well fortified, and they did so with a small force and an enchanted ship that crashed through the gate. Perhaps you could do some scouting for more reliable information, as well as harass and delay their soldiers to allow more time to come up with a plan? You will definitely want to secure any sacred sites, magical artifacts, or ancient ruins in the area."

Cirion then took a deep breath - he had been doing a lot of talking and his throat was drying up. He pulled out a canteen and took a long drink, before putting the cap back on and putting it away. "And what's this about an Avatar of Arran?"

That girl, Annie Wells, had claimed to be an Avatar of Arran back at Copperdale. Although she possessed great magical ability, Cirion had no reason to believe her. Was she somehow here too, or was someone else claiming to be one?

Annie was surprised what the forest of Myrkviðr looked like because, she never saw a forest like this before as she followed the group into the forest. She shot air where Etheldredda told her to shoot and it showed two pit traps, and a tripwire that the hag had put there. They stopped after the traps was found. She listened to the conversation between Etheldredda and Tempora. She thought the conversation was interesting.

Then the old Mage turned to talk to her. It made her a little nervous but tried not to show it. He told her to call him Tempora, he will teach her control of her powers better, teach her to think and her training will start after the hags are taken care of. She repiled with a smile,"ok, I will call you Tempora. He had his reasons why he chose me. Don't disrespect him. Even though I am only 10 years old but I can do this job. I do need help to get control and energy so I won't get tired so easily. I can think on my own already. Why do I need to learn that?"

A few minutes later, Etheldredda asked Tempora if he's going to help. They started to have a big conversation about this might be a trap and not summoning the Hagfather. Annie thought this was interesting to listen to it. She also watched the hags doing in their ritual with their bonfire and strong magic that she can feel threw her. It made her very nervous.

As she watched the ritual from their hidding place, Etheldredda told her in the whisper free the slaves. She whisper back to her,"you got it." She started sneak towards the slave pits to free them without the hags knowing she was there by camouflaging herself with vines that she summon to come on her that she was part of the forest. Slowly she creeped closer and closer to the slave pits hoping not to be seen.

Judy smiled and said," sounds good to me. Let's go." She was ready to prove herself to this world no matter what it took. Then Cadmus asked her about the information that she had for Soahc. She repiled," the information is about this child named Annie, who is the Avatar of Arran and everything she had done so far." -Dances-

Their entry into the cursed forest was quiet and almost completely uneventful aside from a run in with one of the hag's explosive traps. Luckily Joric had been in the front with his shield to block the trap's attack. Then Etheldredda spoke, and it hit Rovaan as well, this was all too easy. No guards or anything, almost as if they were being welcomed in and that did not set well with Rovaan. All the magic saturating the air on the other hand, it made Rovaan's half-demon blood burn.

It wasn't much longer before the small band of adventurers came upon the heart of the hag's land. It was a horrific scene to be sure, what disturbed Rovaan the most was the demon tied to the pole and the bleeding runes carved into its flesh. Then there were the hags in all their grotesque glory along with their aging daughters. The mere sight of them made Rovaan's stomach turn. Next he saw the slave pits, the poor wretches trapped within the subject to the whims of the hags. It reminded him in a way of the people he left behind in Acaria, trapped within that now cursed and sealed kingdom. Should any have survived the Greywinter, it would be no better than the horrors of the slave pits here. Rovaan pushed the thoughts of his home from his mind as he continued to survey the clearing.

The defenses around the area were great and the small band of adventurers were well outnumbered. What Rovaan assumed to be the warriors for the hags were well armed as well which meant it would be a hard fought battle. Surprise would be a great advantage to them unless the hags really were expecting them. The fact that there were no guards patrolling the perimeter was proof that there might be some truth to all this being a trap.

Being this close to the magical ritual made the hairs on Rovaan's neck stand on end. His demon side hungered for some of the magical power that was thick in the air. But Rovaan resisted its call, he was here for other reasons, not to feed his demonic cravings. Though perhaps they might be of some use depending on how this all came to pass. Regardless, it was going to be a rough fight even with Rovaan's power unrestrained, the captured demon proof of that.

Soon Etheldredda began to silently issue orders. She had told Annie to make here way around to the slave pits and free those trapped within. Fitting enough since Annie claimed it was her job to free slaves. Then Etheldredda crept up next to Rovaan, her tapping on his bow and the word ''throne'' was enough as Rovaan nodded and drew back the string and waited for chaos to ensue.

Ensue it did as Etheldredda and Joric made there way into the ranks of the gathered hags and started to raise hell. Joric slaying anything that stood in his way that was not friendly was just the distraction Rovaan needed.

''Fires of Kal'sea head my call. Bind your power to my arrow and unleash it upon my enemies.'' Rovaan muttered beneath his helmet as fire began to seep from his flesh and crawl towards the tip of his arrow as he took aim at the throne and left his arrow fly.

Rovaan's arrow was wreathed in explosive hellfire from the depths of Kal'sea as it sailed through the magcially charged air towards the throne where the Great Mother stood. If there were any gods, Rovaan prayed that they would guide the arrow to its mark as it was in their hands now. Soon after Rovaan collapsed to one knee as his demonic hunger spiked with the presence of the hellfire he had just unleashed. Crying out in pain as he tried to fight it off, Rovaan pressed his hands to the side of his head. Things were about to get messy.

The Necromancer.

"So be it," the undead bowed his acquiescence, retreating fully from the disappointing hag. With a glance in Sileo's direction, he nodded, and added that "I shall endeavour to resurrect the fourth wall another way."

Soahc's cryptic hints drew a sidelong look from Ubaid, but he chose not to comment. If there was something here he could use, the last thing he wanted was one of these others deciding to claim it for themselves, particularly when so much of his efforts were devoted to maintaining Soahc's trash. Nonetheless, this merely reinforced his need to get out from under the Deceiver's thumb and conduct his own investigations. If that meant slaughtering every skulking centuar between here and their destination, then so much the better.

"If there is aught else, master," the word was laced with just enough irony to convey the undead's scepticism, "I would play the good host, and prepare a bloody feast for our guests-to-come." Three miles, the witch-sister claimed. Plenty of range, and just enough time if he moved with haste. And how fortunate, then, that the witch-queen's obstinacy did not appear an obstacle.

Assuming Soahc made no move to stop him, Ubaid would bow his respects towards the circle of devils and darkness, turn, and begin to make his way through the encampment, towards his congregation and their machinations. And he would reserve a nod for Raspur, and the crystal he had misled the Great Deceiver with, as he went.
All seeing. All knowing. All scumbag.

March of Darkness

Well, Ethyl didn't look happy, Soahc laughed, Kira still wanted to get impregnated by that idiot, the undead were getting eager, the Hags talked about stuff, Ubaid went off to make a feast, and Sileo just did not really care about anything, and at that, it seemed that the great adventure would commence sooner or later, towards the Great Plains, the land of the centaurs, or whatever.

Mechanical did not have much to say, yawning as his body sizzled and bled, regenerating just to constantly sizzle and bleed some more, endlessly; he was part of quite the useless duo. He clasped his hands behind his back, leaning over, and walked around silently and rather randomly for a change, wings gently and slowly flapping, and tail moving like the slithering body of a snake behind him, sliding through the trail of blood Mechanical left behind. At least the undead would not mind walking in hot blood.

He had never encountered centaurs before, but did know they were half-man, half-horse essentially, and wondered if, since such a being had two torsos, they had doubled hearts, lungs, stomachs, other organs, and doubled bones, or perhaps the organs and skeleton simply extended along while connected? He just shook his head dismissively, why should he care?
