--- Sorrow of the Sea ---
A young girl stood on a rocky shore
A cool wind blowing from sea to moor
Her tears ran gleaming, streaking her face
She began to lose sense of time and place
The sea's roaring stopped, an awed silence fell
As the Lord of the Waves appeared on the swell
He said, "What troubles you, girl, down by the sea?
What sorrows cause your tears to run free?"
"The one that I love," she said in reply
"Can you explain why he had to die?"
"Death," the Lord said, "is part of Nature,
And of what time He strikes, none can be sure.
"Yet Death's final call is no reason to mourn-
Others will help with the burden you've borne.
Take solace, my dear, you'll see him again;
Passing on is never the final end."
The girl lifted her two watery eyes
A morbid plot she began to devise
"Death is only the beginning, you say?
If that be so, I shall not delay."
She leaped from the cliff, and the noise returned
The girl's tear-driven actions to spurn
The Lord gave a howl, the waves gave a crash
As the girl plunged in with a sickly splash
None have since stood on that rocky shore
The wind does not blow from sea to moor
Birds alter the paths they used to follow
For the sea recalls the young girl's sorrow.

A little change-up from my normal stuff, but I was feeling structured for once.
EDIT: Changed the last stanza to fit the theme a bit more.
