I was going to post a revised version of this story, and maybe add to it. But then came the announcement that these forums are going to be discontinued. So if I do a revised version of this story, it'll have to be posted elsewhere.
Since this story, a lot has changed. And some things similar have found their way into the game, such as the 'Murder on the Border' quest which also had King Roald and Queen Ellamaria attending a feast where at least one of the guests is murdered via poison. Since there, Ellamaria tells us she's long since been desensitized to this sort of thing, my handling of her character in the first scenario is one of the things I'd change.
Of course some later quests and their revelations about certain characters make certain parts of the story make even more sense. If Reldo indeed has a connection to a certain enchanter, then it's an easy matter for him to edit out Romeo and Juliet's names from the Varrock Census on request, as presented in the fifth scenario.
I sometimes wonder if this story DID in fact inspire certain lore-writers at Jagex. But in any case, it looks like if it's to be seen after March, we'll have to take it elsewhere.
Anyway, I had fun writing it, and I'm glad people liked it.
