"i dont wish to be mean or anything like that when i say this: You are incredibly wrong about noob stories on page 6."
It's an opinion, so don't apologize. Just tell me what you think.
"Yes everybody may use the whole "like pie, kills guides on tutorial island" thing, but if you add good jokes it is okay! If you can pull it off it isn't that stupid or hard to understand. Some people can pull it off."
I thought I said that giving it your own spin would be fine, but use the old, worn-out methods wouldn't help in bringing about a strong noob story, but take away from its quality. I've seen people give a unique outlook on these areas in a noob story, and they do work, but if you just use the basic format, for the most part, they don't.
"And the **** in most noobs stories do like pie, is incredibly stupid, because thats the noob steryotype! once again, that can be pulled off. You are basically telling everyone that if you do that to a noob, your noob story will fail for sure."
Just because it's the stereotype does not make it right, or good. People shouldn't be using that basic line for every, single noob story, because it would be incredibly repetitive and borderline copying. And, *o: I've said that, in order to make that work, you should add something *more* to it. I've seen dozens of noob stories die with under ten posts because of how they go about writing one.
