I’m in fear, the sweat sliding down my face as the swordsman is ready to shove the blade through my throat. ‘Help me father, please help me,’ I thought. ‘Please, I’m not ready to die yet. There’s so much evil I need to achieve.’
The swordsman snickered, with his boot shoved against my chest, preventing me from moving. His boot felt like a ton of bricks as he slowly pressed harder. “I guess it’s time for you to die,” he said as he quickly jabbed the sword, its target, my throat.
Suddenly, a brick of ice appeared over me when the swordsman jabbed. The blade rebounded against the ice so his arm was sticking straight up, with the blade symmetrical with the flagpole stuck vertically in the ground a few miles east. The swordsman then was frozen in a couple sheets of ice.
The ice above me disappeared, the swordsman boot off my chest so I was able to move again. I was still dazed, so I still could barely move. I heard a laughing howl. I turned my head and saw a man in the distance on top of a house, his blue eyes shining in the morning light.
He conjured some water and dropped it on me as he walked over. I was able to move after the refreshing water fell on my face. “Need a hand,” he said extending his hand. I graciously accepted the hand so I could rise.
“Thanks,” I said smiling. “If it weren’t for you, I’d be dead now. I’m Zamak, who are you?”
The man smiled. “The name’s Jaldar and I didn’t mind saving you. I mean, we both have the same motive, to be evil, is that right?” he said smiling.
I was shocked, but gave a smile to conceal it. “Yes, that’s very true.”
“Good,” Jaldar continued, “Let’s go wreck some more evil.”
We both smiled as we went into another house, to kill more Fremmeniks.
