I am writing this to record my adventures in Old School Runescape similar to my Runescape 3 one. At the moment I am striving for the quest cape which, by chance, I am finding significantly easier than it was in Runescape 3.

I completed the "The creature of Fenkenstrain" yesterday which has given me access to the experiments in the cavern. I am training on them until I get level 60 attack, so I can wield dragon weaponry and make me a more formidable fighting force for the boss encounters I shall meet through questing.

I would prefer to train on rock crabs but they are too crowded and I am currently unable to hop worlds for some reason so I am looking into to the issue to find a solution.

After levelling up my attack for a bit in the cavern below the castle near Canifis I decided to do another quest. I chose "Death to the Dorgeshuun" not my favourite quest by a long shot but it puts me a step closer to getting the quest cape.

I only had one problem and that was finding a light source that didn't explode near the gas in the Lumbridge tunnel network. In the end I used an oil lamp which still reacted to the gas but I decided to run and eat food as I needed it. I successfully navigated the tunnels and delivered Zaniks body to Juna.

I am in the mood for another quest "Contact" and am in the process of buying the items I need for it. I have most of them but the anti-poison is quite difficult to get hold of despite me paying way over its normal price.

I'll check back later to see if they have bought, fingers crossed

The required items for "Contact" finally bought and I have done most of it however I cannot kill the Giant Scarab, maybe after a little more training.

After that I resorted to training a variety of skills including attack where I reached level 58. I also trained firemaking achieving level 27 but I would like to reach level 40. Most recently though I have been training range on the Hill Giants in Varrock. So far it is going very well I have got to level 37 in a short while and will carry on for a bit longer tonight although I could do with better gear.

I think I might direct my training towards completing "Monkey Madness" and might complete it by the end of the week. As far as I can recall from a number of years ago when I first completed "Monkey Madness" I killed the boss using ranged and I believe my level was fairly low between level 40 and 50.

I did at last get level 40 ranged by training at the Hill Giants after which I decided to do the "Grand Tree" quest. Its a nice little quest that took me all over the place from Karamja to Ardougne and back to the Tree Gnome Stronghold. The best part though is the healthy amount of xp it gave me, the most being 18k attack xp.

I also have access to a mine in the area which I never knew existed but I doubt its a useful training area as if it was I would have heard of it, never mind though I have my own methods. Off the top of my head I think there is one more quest I need to complete before I can attempt "Monkey Madness" which I'll do tomorrow providing I meet all of its requirements.

As for the next area of training I still need to get level 60 attack but I might also return to fishing for a while however I might as well train strength and defence if I am going to bulk up my combat stats. I suppose I could invest a little time in magic providing the runes are not too expensive but I have saved a sizeable cash pile ready for my questing.

I completed the "Tree gnome village" quest this morning which was very easy and quite short too. I am glad to have done it though as it granted me access to the spirit trees dotted around Runescape and allow me to travel a lot easier.

I immediately began working on the "Monkey madness" quest and just completed it. I had forgotten all the little things that made that quest a nightmare bad in the day, like how the Gorillas can prevent you from moving by surrounding you. The puzzle in the glider hangar was relatively straight forward when you break each row down one at a time. I decided to range the boss from a safe spot as a did on my main account which worked very well.

I still have 18k left until level 60 attack so I shall level that up now, I have already purchased a dragon scimitar which now sits in my bank ready for use. I think the next step will be to raise my other combat stats.

I eventually achieved level 60 attack along with 50 defence, 52 strength and 54 hitpoints increasing my combat level to 67. I decided to turn to slayer to level up my stats as it was equally as efficient and I will need to raise my slayer level to around level 50 anyway for the quest cape.

After completing a series of tasks including Ankou and Werewolves I was unfortunate enough to receive 58 Green Dragons. While they are easy to kill their locations are all stationed in the Wilderness at varying depths. I was forced to accept a lower task from a low-level slayer master as I am unwilling to take the risk of encountering pkers that may be lurking around them.

I tried my hand at magic casting the curse spell of the Zamorakian monk locked in the cell in Varrock Castle, this is my plan until I reach level 25 where I will adopt method. My next quest shall be the "Watchtower" quest which if I recall correctly was a simplistic forgotten quest in tucked away behind Yanille. My main purpose for embarking upon this obscure quest all of the sudden is for its generous helping of magic xp that shall boost my levels substantially.

I meet most of the requirements for the quest and those that I do not are not demanding. I needed level 14 herblore which I got by making attack potions cheaply. The last requirement is level 40 mining so I only need 5 more levels. I'll get that tomorrow by mining iron ore in Ardougne.

Getting level 40 mining was simply enough by power-mining iron ore in Ardougne. After that I was all set to complete the "Watchtower" quest which I did and as a result got level 34 magic.

The quest was basic although it was annoying having to walk all the way around the Ogre city and those Blue Dragons can be dangerous but I did it. It was largely contained in one area that being Feldip Hills hunting Skavids in the many caves dotted around the region.

For now I may turn towards slayer for a bit and may continue to alternate between them until I decide to do another quest.
