Hehe, updating has been slacking a bit 'lately' indeed. :P Might not have picked the best month(s) for it though, as a lot of people might be on vacation then. I will be gone 17-31 July myself. Then again, I guess it's hard to find time for this yourself too of course. Hope I can be there though. :)

I only have 6 99's left to get and am slowly knocking them off one by one. I do assure you that this time I won't get 99 by accident like I did with mining *lol*.

This meeting is to discuss moving forward with our group. To discuss re-arranging our ranking system, as well as to talk about re-making the thread. What you don't think we need on our thread, and what you would like to see. As for the ranking system, we may also be doing some de-ranking for those who are non-active in the chat anymore, down to sergeant status(still one of respect in case they return).
This is also to discuss creating a clan. We wouldn't replace the achievers with a clan, but it will be like a sister group for those who aren't already in a clan. It would also be a group that would reach out and help others once a week. We'd like to discuss what name to have etc.
We'll also be discussing the rules and situation in our current chat. Here you can share your thoughts on what you feel needs to be changed. Just a heads up though, I'm not going to change my thoughts on swearing ;) My thoughts are immovable on that topic.
If you are unable to make the meeting, due to the time or other circumstance, please let me know. We may be able to organize another meeting for those who can't make this one. Or if you can't make it, but have a topic you want to discuss, you can pass it along to someone who can bring it up.

I should be able to be at the meeting. I know I haven't been active, but I thank you so much for the opportunity. Real life has just been a hastle, which im sure you understand. Also congratulations in advance on 99 Crafting! I am going to be getting Crafting as well in the near future. :)

It's not my decision but I don't see a Clan Chat working. People who aren't already in clans won't know which chat to use, some people will use both & get confused when they're talking where, as well as others feeling left out when they can't be in one or the other.

I completely agree with steven on the clan as people already in a clan would feel left out, even though they could join the achievers clan as a guest, it's just not the same.
But then again i'm not even ranked in this system, but just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

Hey guys, just a quick message to put forward my notes for this meeting, seeing as I’m not here, it’s best I drop in a few lines just to let you know what I want discussed at this meeting ontop of what Accie is already discussing; however some of my views are different to others, and possible could cause a debate – please don’t discuss these on this thread, as aforementioned, this is for the meeting on Friday. Please note that everything I say here is my opinion and not the real thoughts of everyone :D
My first point is just to put it out there, there’s no real case for discussion because this is just a mere opinion, but whilst I still understand that we want to increase the chat size, having people come in randomly off your front page thread (which I’m not denying it’s a good thread) without reading the chat rules leads to the trolling of them, which doesn’t help anyone, so I suggest that you at least put a mention of that in our thread rules there, just to ensure they don’t come in thinking that there aren’t any rules – cause this is one of the things that causes the unrest at the start.
Whilst I’m on the point, I understand that trolling is not welcome in the chat, however under some circumstances it is overseen, I don’t view it as an “insta-kick” but I think it should be taken with a pinch of salt, however I do think those who rise to it shouldn’t do, and instead adds that specific person to their ignore list, this means that it’ll be dealt with quickly, and less need for the unrest in the chat – causing less need to kick people and means that this chat can attempt to increase in size without decreasing in quality (as I believe (along with many others) it is doing so already)

New post – new topic, so next thing I’m gonna talk about is this new proposition for the Clan to be created...
Although I’m not against the creating of the clan, and as such have offered to be a co-founder of it, I believe that the clan chat shouldn’t be used – I’ve spoken to many people about the idea of this clan and many are against it due to the fact that they think it will split the chat, which shouldn’t happen – we should agree here and agree now that we’ll use the current chat, as I don’t think it’ll be a wise move to split the chat by saying that the current clan can use our chat where the rest of the achievers uses the current chat – it’ll be too difficult to keep up with even with distinct colours. I’m just not willing to split the chat, even if there are trolls in the old one, even the above posters have said this.
Right, moving onto the new thread, my main thought being do we really need some of the things that the current thread has, for example the surfer’s list and the thread library, they’re not often updated and therefore not really worth having on the thread, as it takes more effort to update them. However I do suggest that you add a list of chat-enforcers so they know who they’re working with and so the chat users know who the chat enforcers actually are. Also, an intake of new chatmods to help regulate the chat as well, as there is very often only one chatmod at one time, which is okay now, but if we have another influx of new members then we might need more than one at the time.
Guess that’s all I have to say for now, if I think of anything else, I’ll post it.
