This morning it was Kat Stryke vs. Hollowtoof - Round 3!
I had just completed my final Daily Challenge by crafting 61 body runes when I received word of a goblin raid taking place at a Lumbridge farm. I teleported to the Lumbridge lodestone, then ran northeast to the gate in the fence around the potato field. Once I was inside the potato field, I closed the gate behind me and ran south to battle the goblin raiders. I quickly killed two of the raiders. Next, I used the Cleave ability to attack two more raiders at the same time. They tried to team me. They failed. I dispatched one, then the other. I slaughtered all ten goblin raiders. Then I turned my attention to the enraged Hollowtoof.
I activated the Protect From Melee prayer and attacked Hollowtoof. I damaged him for about a third of his health, but he hit me back pretty hard, even through the protection prayer. I broke off the fight, ran north to heal, then ran back to continue battling Hollowtoof. I did this twice, deactivating Protect From Melee when I was not in combat. I headed back for the third round of attacks. I didn't want to give Hollowtoof a chance to escape. I charged him, slashed him viciously, and smashed him. Hollowtoof dropped to the ground!
Hollowtoof dropped 4 earth runes and a raider axe. In addition to coins, the other goblins dropped a set of goblin mail, 5 bronze javelins, 2 bronze hatchets, and 8 earth runes. For killing these goblin raiders, Yodri awarded me 35 barley seeds, 34 marigold seeds, and 31 potato seeds. I teleported back to the Lumbridge lodestone and banked everything at the Lumbridge Market bank chest, including 11 sets of goblin bones.
This was my third solo Hollowtoof kill.
No doubt he will be back - and I will be waiting.
Love,
Kat

This morning, I completed Daily Challenges in Fishing, Woodcutting, and Firemaking. I had been killing black knights north of Varrock Then I teleported to Lumbridge, where I caught 14 crayfish behind the Lumbridge church. After banking the raw crayfish, I chopped a dozen yew logs and burned them on a bonfire west of Lumbridge Market
Redeeming these challenges got me 67 Fishing and 72 Woodcutting.
That's not everything that happened this morning. I made a couple of discoveries, which I will disclose to you in due time, Diary.

Kat

Arteria has offered no further clues regarding my stolen past. However, I may have come across some important information on my own.
Last night, I fulfilled a Daily Combat Challenge by killing 15 black knights. This morning, I decided to continue the battle. I slaughtered a total of 38 knights when I found a bloodstained note. I could not read this note, but it seems to be one of five mysterious notes which detail Zamorak's plans for Gielinor. Why the fool would outline his plans in a series of notes, then scatter these notes across the land, leaving the notes with underlings, is anyone's guess. A trap for the unwary, perhaps? Maybe so. We shall see.
The black knights also dropped 2 black platebodies, black platelegs, a full black helm, 2 uncut gems (a ruby and a sapphire), 9 body runes, 10 earth runes, 3 law runes, and 2 tiny pieces of salvage (blunt steel and spiky iron), in addition to coins. I planned to use the black armor I had found to infiltrate the black knights' fortress to continue my search for the bloodstained note, if I hadn't found it after dispatching 40 black knights. This turned out to be unnecessary, so I sold the armor and the salvage. I cut and banked the gems, along with the runes and the bloodstained note. Then I teleported to Lumbridge.
After I had completed my Daily Fishing Challenge, I headed north to deposit the raw crayfish into the Lumbridge Market bank chest. As I did so, I observed a large round portal in the air just north of the market. I stared at this portal. It crackled with infernal energy. Then it vanished. I have heard reports of demon mobs appearing at several locations throughout Gielinor, though I have yet to see one myself. These portals must be how they are arriving here. Upon seeing this portal, I had an instant flash of memory. I know I have seen a portal exactly like this before!
The closer I get to finding answers about my past, the more questions I have.

Kat

Last night I completed the Tales of Pride event by tracking down seven love stories for The Curator in Burthorpe. I located journals, or witnessed conversations, in Taverley, Edgeville, Varrock, Lumbridge, Draynor, and atop Armadyl's tower north of Port Sarim. The Curator was happy to add these stories to his collection. He gifted me with a Banner of Pride, and I was allowed to retain the collection of stories as well.
This afternoon, I completed Daily Challenges in Dungeoneering, Runecrafting, and Cooking by skipping the Dungeoneering task, crafting 60 body runes at the Body Altar, and cooking 10 crayfish on a bonfire I built from oak logs in Level 2 Wilderness. After collecting and banking my reward of two cinder cores, I teleported to Falador.
I headed north from the Falador lodestone and began attacking Monks of Zamorak. I used Cleave to attack the first two monks at the same time. I quickly dispatched one monk, then the other. I continued my rampage, slaughtering monks and, on two separate occasions, a hapless goblin who wandered too close to the action as I battled monks #19 and #33 using Cleave. Both times, the goblin dropped 1gp.
Upon killing monk #41 near the entrance to the temple, I found another mysterious note - a crumpled note. As with the bloodstained note I got from slaying black knights, I was unable to read this crumpled note. The monks dropped no robes.
I teleported to Al Kharid, where I banked the note and retrieved the chargebow I took from that weakling Kayle. I equipped the chargebow, shed my melee armor, and headed north to the mine. I shot down seven scorpions, raising my Constitution so that it is nearly even with my Attack, Defence, and Strength. I now need just under 4k XP before I level all four of these skills, after I switched back to my melee gear and killed another 14 scorpions.

After changing into my dark blue bikini, I took part in several beach activities. I chopped fish and cooked them on a grill. I caught half a dozen fish at the rock pools. I explored about 60 floors within the Dungeoneering Hole. I spent a few rounds at the Coconut Shy.
I missed Clawdia, as she emerged while I was completing my Daily Challenges near the Lumbridge Market bank chest at that time. I built a bonfire from willow logs, cooked 10 crayfish on the bonfire, then smithed 150 rune arrowheads and 100 rune bolts.
My work at the barbeques got me 67 Cooking.

This evening, I completed Daily Challenges in Smithing, Crafting, and Runecrafting. I smithed 100 rune bolts and crafted 5 gold amulets in Lumbridge. After feathering and banking the bolts and low-alching the amulets, I teleported to Draynor.
I headed south to the Wizards' Tower and entered the Runespan, where I siphoned 8 air runes from a cyclone before teleporting back to Lumbridge.
Redeeming these challenges got me 67 Runecrafting.

This afternoon, I completed Daily Challenges in Smithing, Crafting, and Mining. Again, I smithed 100 rune bolts and crafted 5 gold amulets in Lumbridge. After feathering and banking the bolts and low-alching the amulets, I teleported to Al Kharid.
I headed north to the mine, where I gathered 20 gold ores before teleporting back to Lumbridge. I smelted the ores into gold bars and banked them.
Next, I teleported to Edgeville and entered the dungeon there. I fought and killed 22 poison spiders. This got me just over 3k XP away from leveling Attack, Constitution, Defence, and Strength. I also picked up 10 sets of bones in Edgeville Dungeon. I banked these before teleporting to Varrock.
From the lodestone, I headed north and entered the Varrock sewers. After stopping to one-hit kill two ghosts along the way, I approached the lair of the deadly red spiders. I pushed through the web on my first attempt. I ran to the deadly reds and began slaying them. I weakened the second deadly red with a pair of blows from Arteria, then I killed the spider by punching it in the head!
I continued to slaughter these spiders. Upon killing deadly red #23, I reached Attack, Constitution, Defence, and Strength level 75, as well as combat level 95. I now have 8,000 max life points. Also, now that I have CL 95 just as the deadly reds have, I can finally left-click to attack them. I slew a dozen more deadly reds using the left-click option. I also collected 24 red spiders' eggs before teleporting to Lumbridge. I banked the spider eggs, and decided to relax at The Beach for a while.
I chopped a couple of fish. I caught 34 fish at the rock pools. I explored about 100 floors within the Dungeoneering Hole. I spent many rounds at the Coconut Shy. I even picked up three free surfboards from Flo. I had returned to the Coconut Shy when Clawdia surfaced.
I joined the fight. When Clawdia retreated, I received two cocktails and some anti-sun. I left to bank.

In addition to the loot I had obtained from Clawdia, I had also found another beach cocktail, 2 pinatas, 5 noted cakes (which I got from attacking a pinata someone had deployed near the Coconut Shy), an ice cream, and a royal battleship kit. I left The Beach to store everything in the Lumbridge Market bank chest. First, I had to heal.
I moved to a bakery stall to help myself to some cake. The battle against Clawdia had damaged me to where I had just over 2300 Life Points left. After the fight, I used my adrenaline to heal me to a little over 5,000 Life Points.
As I approached the stall, I noticed an Infernal portal in the air north of Lumbridge Market. I managed to swipe two cakes when I was suddenly struck by magical energy! One of Zamorak's invading demons was standing at the western edge of the market and hurled this attack upon me. I was drawn to the cur and slashed it a few times with Arteria. I was already at a disadvantage because of the wounds I had sustained during the fight with Clawdia. Now this demon had struck me a few times, reducing me to a quarter of my health. I knew if I didn't do something soon, I would be struck down.
I broke off the attack and teleported to Al Kharid, where I banked everything except for the two cakes I got from the bakery stall, and regained full health. I then teleported back to Lumbridge and raced back to Lumbridge Market. However, the demons were gone.
This demon somehow seemed familiar to me. It appeared to recognize me as well, and it was not happy to see me. I look forward to a rematch on equal terms. Then, perhaps I can loosen the demon's tongue to find out what it might know about my past.
Love,
Kat
