I have been far too focused on my own in-game activities (the capes are flowing!) and I have been taking a break from the forums to try and preserve what slither of my mental health I have left. I think you know what I am referring too... let's just say I would rather steer clear of a few people!
Nice progress on the yuck track, by the way. I was sad to see that the F2P community can't access Het's area. I would have thought it would have been great to give you guys some new achievements, perhaps a new type of tree to cut, or something to fish. Heck, you could have even used the agility course for a bit of fun!
I'd honestly like to see more of this style of event used to revitalise areas; community events are a darn sight better than yuck tracks! However, they should include everyone. I hope this sort of thing can be used to help update other areas of the map, or grant you guys access (temporarily at least) to members' areas for a similar package of events.
As for me, I have managed to complete most of Het's arena of death. Catching 5000 of the hunter things was horrible (I needed it for comp!) and repairing the statue in the middle for a future trim comp cape was only slightly less bad.

Thanks, but of course this will be another miserable Yak Track that I will not complete before it ends Sunday night. I might not play much after that, as there are a few other projects I want to work on, including more songs!
I agree the so-called "community event" that is Het's Oasis is sadly a non-event for us forgotten F2P folk. I wandered around the area for a little bit. I watched the cutscene, spoke with a few NPCs, and reclaimed a Duellist's Cap from Estocada, as the old one had become an Antique Duellist's Cap. Yes, quite an underwhelming update for F2P. You make it sound delightful, though. Hahaha!
I do like your idea for revitalizing other areas of Gielinor via community events everyone can take part in, should they choose to. It's nicely inclusive, truly community-minded, and it makes sense - so it's unlikely Jagex would go for it, unless they used it to peddle bonds. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I was only 57,025 XP away from gaining the next level in Ranged this evening, after I rubbed the medium bubbling lamp I got from Yak Track Task #26 to gain 14,573 Ranged XP.
I had a huge prismatic lamp in my backpack, which I had won on TH about five minutes before game reset. I used this lamp to gain 58,292 XP. Therefore, I reached Ranged level 93!
My Total Level is 1662 (Virtual Level 1672). Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
