Earlier this afternoon, I completed a daily challenge - to craft 70 woodcutting urns. As a result, I gained a Crafting level of 61. This brought my total level to 1228.

Now there is no longer a two-way tie for my lowest ranked skill. That dubious honor solely belongs to Dungeoneering, which remains at level 60.

During the upcoming BXP Weekend, I plan to focus on Ranged, Fishing, and Crafting, although I'd also like to work on Smithing and Mining - if I have the time.

In preparation, I stockpiled some iron ore to use in the Artisans' Workshop.

Gaining a couple of skill levels over this weekend would be nice, but my main goal is to finally use up the otherwise useless BXP I've acquired through WE1, the 2013 Christmas event, and using a pair of falling stars on my Fishing skill as an experiment.

I'd have to say last month's BXP Weekend went well. Not only did I succeed in using up all my bonus XP, I gained a few levels in the process:

Fishing 75
Ranged 62
Mining 81

As for long-term goals I would like to reach later this year, I haven't really settled on too many I plan to really focus on intently. Gaining a combat level ranks pretty high up the list, though that will most likely happen via Ranged, which I don't train very often.

Aside from that, I would like to find my 50th Rune Scimitar in time for summer. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

A few hours ago, I managed to reach Smithing level 78, thanks to two of the three XP lamps earned by completing this year's Easter event, followed by a little quality time in the Artisans Workshop!

Ok, so it's not a 99...yet...but it's a step closer.

Right then - anyone need an adamant square shield?

It has been a productive evening, combat-wise. A few hours ago, I reached Magic level 75, thanks to a magic training dummy. Then I decided to focus on Ranged, and raised that skill to 64, with the unwilling help of many, many scorps. Hehe.

Unfortunately, neither of these gains increased my overall Combat Level, which is still at 107. Unless I luck out and gain a Prayer level to raise my CL, I reckon I'll still be at level 107 when Tuska arrives next week. I did work on melee for a bit as well tonight, but I have a looong way to go before leveling those.

WE3 should be good for some serious XP gains...and not just combat gains either.

After all, when the dust settles and Tuska is defeated someone is going to have to cook up all that bacon! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Earlier tonight I reached level 80 in Cooking, thanks in large part to beach barbecuing in Lumbridge Crater. Summer event = good XP

If RuneScape had an 11-year veteran cape, then today would be the first day I'd qualify for such an achievement item!

11 years of playing RS may not seem to be much of a milestone to those who have played since the earliest days of RS1, or even going back to the Devious Mud days, but it is a significant amount of time to devote to a single on-line game.

I have seen many developments to RS over the course of these past 11 years, and to this day I still find reasons to log in practically every day. Furthermore, I have no plans to stop playing any time soon either.

During the past 11 years, how many days have I been a member? Zero. Furthermore, I have no plans to become a member any time down the road either.

This weekend, I will start my 12th year as a citizen of Gielinor. It's been fun, and to this day I still enjoy my 'Scaping time. Really, that's what it's all about. Some players obsess way too much about being/remaining #1 on the high scores, or they start twitching if they aren't earning the absolute maximum XP/hour every hour they are logged in. RuneScape, like any game, is intended to be fun! Even on the days when I have only a very short amount of time to log in, just to get my daily tasks done, I don't worry about real life being an XP waste any more than I consider RS to be a waste of time in real life. I make time for both, as much as I can, without stressing out about any of it. Whether I am on to kill, skill, or mostly just chill, I end up at least a little more successful - in one regard or another - than I was before logging in. To me, that's a positive gaming experience. Earlier this hour, I finally got Ranged level 70!

This didn't raise my Combat Level, but now I have only two F2P skills under 70:
