Yak To The Shadows update:

I finished Task #27 by burying 1,200 big bones on the beach. The XP I gained from this was not boosted by anti-sun lotion or beach cocktails. However, for a time I did enjoy an 8% XP boost courtesy of some other players who unleashed pulse core blasts while I was in the Dungeoneering hole with them right before I resumed burying bones.

For Task #28, I can either kill 2,004 monsters or cook 1,400 swordfish. Sure, I could also make cheese wheels, but I'm not going to do that! Normally, I'd prefer to kill monsters...but 2,004?! 1,400 swordfish is 50 full inventories, which is grindy but less so than 2,004. I currently have only 102 raw swordfish in my bank, so I will need to either go fishing or go shopping. I expect I will most likely do both.

By the way, I've been training Dungeoneering and Ranged on the beach, as well as doing a little bit of cooking and fishing. I've also attacked Clawdia several times. So far, I've found a total of 0 Yak Track task skips, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

While training/standing around in the hole on Lumbridge Beach, I reached Dungeoneering level 81! Even so, this is still my lowest F2P skill.

My Total Level is 1563 (Virtual Level 1564). Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I have finished Task #28 by cooking 1,400 swordfish. This rewarded me with a medium prismatic lamp, which I used to attain Prayer level 83!

My Total Level is 1564 (Virtual Level 1565).

For Task #29 I could string 1,850 bows or smith 55 adamant/rune items. Yes, obviously I'll be adding to my collection of rune arrowheads. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I completed Task #30 by smithing another 4500 rune arrowheads (60 sets) to add to my collection, which is currently at 74,200. A lot of Fletching XP potential there.

Speaking of Fletching, the options for Task #31 are to either string 2,000 bows or to chop 345 yew logs. That's a choice? Are you kidding me?

So I have teleported to Edgeville, where I started cutting yews before coming here to type this update. I chopped the north yew and got 1 log. Then I chopped the south yew and got 27 logs before felling the tree. That's RNG for you. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
