This evening I completed Daily Challenges in Firemaking, Mining, and Combat.

I chopped 10 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market, then burned them. I redeemed this challenge to gain 22,536 Firemaking XP.

This put me over 176,000,000 in Total XP.

I completed the other two Daily Challenges by mining gold and killing scorpions north of Al Kharid. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Yak Track - Path Of The Creators II update:

I completed Task #20 by Skilling and Killing 40 times. I had advanced this option 38/40 when I arrived at the Spring Festival. I finished this task while gaining Cooking XP at the cauldron activity. I also earned 1,000 Spring Tokens from this one activity. I earned just over 2,000 XP to advance the Fletching option.

I received the Ful Acolyte's Outfit cosmetic overrides.

For Task #21, I can catch swordfish/mine luminite/runite ores 360 times or Skill and Kill 40 times.

I will be mining for this task. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Yak Track - Path Of The Creators II update:

I completed Task #21 by mining 180 luminite and 180 runite ores in and around the Mining Guild. I also found 57 geodes. I advanced the Skilling and Killing option 20/40.

I received a large prismatic star, which I used to gain 42,586 Smithing BXP.

For Task #22, I can kill 1,083 monsters or Skill and Kill 40 times.

I am sure I will do some combat as part of my Skilling and Killing for this task. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Yak Track - Path Of The Creators II update:

I completed Task #22 by Skilling and Killing 40 times. I finished this task while gaining Fletching XP as I carved the wooden idols at the Spring Festival. I killed 25 scorpions to advance the Combat option 25/1,083.

I received two sealed clue scrolls (easy).

For Task #23, I can cook 700 swordfish or Skill and Kill 40 times.

Skilling and Killing goes pretty quickly at the Spring Festival, so that's what I'll do for this task. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

This afternoon, I did some more skilling at the Spring Festival, gaining XP in Prayer and Cooking. I also caught many butterflies within a giant Guthixian butterfly.

I ended up accumulating 8,550 Spring Tokens. I decided to spend 8,000 tokens on the Aurelian Cape. This proved to not be a worthwhile purchase.

In case you don't know, this cape is an actual item, not a cosmetic override. That's fine. I still have some bank space. I decided to equip this cape and test it out. F2P can wear the Aurelian Cape and charge it up by catching butterflies. I found a massive swarm of butterflies in South Taverley and quickly caught my daily limit of green, white, and yellow butterflies. I checked the charges, and the cape now had 4. However, when I tried to use the Release option on the cape, all I got was a message informing me you have to be a member to release a butterfly. Of course you do. So I effectively wasted 8,000 Spring Tokens on a useless piece of fashionscape. Of course I did.

I would've been better off putting those tokens towards some mystery eggs. I'm not interested in getting the title, so any future tokens I collect will be used to buy mystery eggs. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I received a large prismatic lamp, which I used to gain 30,048 Magic XP.

For Task #24, I can burn 700 yew/magic logs or Skill and Kill 40 times.

When I logged in Saturday afternoon, I only needed 33,324 XP to reach the next Magic level. After completing Yak Track Task #23, I claimed a large prismatic lamp. I rubbed this lamp to gain 30,048 Magic XP. This left me 3,276 XP short. After casting the 15 High Alchemy and 30 Low Alchemy spells granted by my Explorer's Ring 4 on a stack of noted gold amulets, I headed to the mine north of Al Kharid, where I mined a full inventory of gold ores. Then, I Superheated 26 gold ores into bars to be 5 XP away from the next level. Upon using my ring's final Superheat charge, I reached Magic level 94! :)

My Total Level is 1679 (Virtual Level 1690).

Now I have five F2P skills at level 93. They are:

Dungeoneering
Firemaking
Fletching
Runecrafting
Woodcutting

The rest are at level 94 or higher. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

While mining a full inventory of gold ores this afternoon at the large gold rock along the right-hand side of the entrance to the mine north of Al Kharid, I got this message:

News: Aslon Dak has received Rocky, the Mining pet drop at 21,052,780 XP!

I got the pet drop after I had mined 23 gold ores.

Rocky is my 65th pet and my 3rd skilling pet. My list of pets on page 11 has been updated. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I completed Task #24 by Skilling and Killing 40 times. I finished this task while chopping yew logs west of Lumbridge Market for a Daily Woodcutting Challenge. I had chopped 3/10 yew logs when the task was done. I burned 30 yew logs to advance the Firemaking option 30/700.

I received a medium cash bag, which contained 80,625 coins.

For Task #25, I can earn 206,518 Dungeoneering XP or Skill and Kill 45 times.

I will be Skilling and Killing for this task for sure. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
