Yesterday, I made 100 more of those maple shieldbows, and tonight I made another 100. I also made 3600 headless arrows. All of this got me to Fletching level 60!

Later tonight, since I could now make adamant arrows, I crafted 3600 of them, which got me to Fletching level 61!

I can now fletch adamant bolts - and you know I will! I suppose I will also upgrade my crossbow to an addy one...at some point. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Tonight, after making 250 more maple shieldbows and 1200 adamant bolts, I reached Fletching level 62!

It also helped that last night I went ahead and crafted nine adamant crossbows. I kept one and sold the rest on the G.E. That's the only part about fletching crossbows I really like - selling them! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Last night, after making 2800 more headless arrows, 1000 mithril arrows, and 500 adamant bolts, I reached Fletching level 63!

Afterwards, I made 1000 adamant arrows, 40 mithril grapples, and 324 ruby tips(now that I can craft those). Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Yesterday, I received a Fletching challenge, to make 336 maple shieldbows. I worked on that this morning. After I fletched all 336 shieldbows(u), I began to string them. After stringing #122, I reached Fletching level 64!

I finished stringing the rest of the maple shieldbows, then redeemed the challenge to receive my rewards. I got a mystery bag containing 15 uncut dragonstones and 3,072 coins. I was also granted 45,262 XP in Fletching, which was more than enough to get me to level 65!

I can now make diamond bolts! Now I have to find a decent source of diamonds. I rarely find them in geodes and never seem to obtain them by mining uncommon gem rocks! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Last night, I made 3000 mithril arrows, and tonight I made 1000 more mithril arrows plus 3000 adamant arrows. This got me to Fletching level 66!

Tonight, after spending the past few days making 150 adamant arrows and 2800 adamant bolts, I reached Fletching level 67!

Afterwards, I made 150 additional adamant arrows, and 200 more adamant bolts. I sold the arrows for feathers. The bolts I added to my bank. Currently, I have 5000 of those. Once I have enough ruby and diamond bolt tips, these will become ruby and diamond bolts.

Rubies are easy enough to find, but uncut diamonds are another matter. It appears the resource dungeon in Al-Kharid will be a good source for both gems. However, that requires Dungeoneering level 75 to enter, and my Dungeoneering level is only 72, so it looks like I'm going to be doing some DG training before too long!

I didn't gain any levels this April 1st - no fooling!

However, I did for the first time ever mine a crashed star! As I was headed towards the gem rocks at the Al-Kharid mining site, I saw this large, odd-looking rock right in the middle of the mining area, where there normally is no rock. When I saw what it was, I began mining it right away. Another guy was already there mining it. Later on, someone else joined in. The star was a size 3 when I started. When we broke through the core, I spoke with the star sprite we had rescued. I was awarded:

152 cosmic runes
52 astral runes
20 gold stone spirits
50,002 coins
a 15-minute mining buff, granting double ores while mining

I also got quite a bit of Mining XP.

Afterwards, I worked on a Fletching challenge: 336 yew shortbows

I have all the parts. I just have to string the unstrung shortbows - all 336 of them - and I can claim the reward. I completed a challenge once to fletch 336 maple shieldbows, which granted me over 45,000 XP. These yew shortbows should bring me a lot of Fletching XP, enough to gain at least one level! I'll be finishing that later today. We'll see how it goes!

Oh, and after doing a bit of Dungeoneering over the weekend, I remembered all the reasons why I hate this skill! The Al-Kharid resource dungeon is just going to have to wait a while longer...probably a LOT longer! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I just finished Fletching those 336 yew shortbows, which got me 7375 XP away from Fletching level 68! When I turned them in for my reward, I was granted 45,262 XP - which not only got me to level 68, but I am now only 25,131 XP from Fletching 69! I will then be able to make runite bolts and crossbows.

In the mystery bag, I received 18 reinforced dragon bones and 8004 coins. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Thank you very much, River! Nice name, by the way. I am a long-time Whovian, so I appreciate the reference! In fact, as I reveal on page 1 of this thread, my own screen name was inspired by the Doctor Who comic strip.
