I enjoyed reading your reflective post, I would have loved to be a part of the G&A community back then, sounds like it was a lot of fun, however I just stuck to reading the threads rather than making them :P !

Congratulations on completing your side goal of 85 Dungeoneering, if you ever decide to kill frost dragons, you will undoubtedly make a nice bit of bank.

I'm a little sad that you have decided to take a small break, but it is important to do that sometimes, wouldn't want to get completely burnt out with the game. Though i'm sure that when you return you'll be back to achieving all you goals!

Anyways, congratulations on all your recent achievements!! I see that you finally got your charming imp, well done! 100K tokens was not a fun task but the little guy is soo worth it. It will definitely help you out while you're slaying :)

Was also reading through your plan and it seems like a good one to me! You are really close with 99 firemaking (I'm glad you like curly roots) and 99 ranged. I hope I will be able to come when you get them but knowing my great luck... :@

Fletching really isn't too terribly bad. While you're fletching, just browse the forums, watch TV/movie, browse your phone, just do SOMETHING and it will make it much better :D Keep it up!!

PS - Good luck on those quests for Elf City. I will let you know how Plague's End is whenever I get around to it :P

I will definitely be trying out Frost Dragons soon, hopefully they will help me make money more faster along with Slayer and other methods I use for money-making.

Getting the 100k Tokens wasn't too bad, it took a bit of time but was definitely worth it. Now Slayer is like 1000 times more enjoyable because I don't have to worry about picking up charms anymore ^_^ Wooo!!
As for the quests for Elf City, I'm sure I'll get around to doing them. Its just not going to be fun time for me, lol. :@

So, most of you may know by now (if you've been following my thread) that I took a bit of a break from this game this past week. I have to say, I am very glad I did. It gave me the time I needed to do other things IRL that I may not have done if I didn't take a break. But seriously though, I needed this break.

Personally, I enjoy this game very much. It is basically the only online game I ever played - and enjoyed. I have goals and stuff I want to accomplish on here hence why I made this G&A thread :P but as most of you know, these goals can take months to complete! Yes, definitely a lot of time and dedication is needed to be put in if you want to make progress in Runescape.

Over the years I have done just that. If I hasn't taken those long breaks, I think I would be pretty close to maxing by now ;) . Ah well... one day I will get there. I know I will.

It seems that my motivation for this game goes on and off these days and some days I find myself totally "lost" in-game and not really knowing what I want to do. And then other days, I get lots done in-game. *Sigh*... lol, a lot of things are easier said than done... that's for sure!

Anyway, enough rambling... You can find my previous week's progress

This coming week, I am planning to get
99 Firemaking.
I am planning to get it either on Thursday or Friday (Sept 4th or 5th) but I will post and let people know as soon as I can. :) So keep checking back here for details.

I also plan to complete the Quests required for entering Elf City. I will update this post
here
to include the quests I still need to complete by the end of this month...ready for Elf City! Based on the Behind the Scenes post, Elf City seems awesome and will be really neat to check out!! Look forward to it, assuming that I get all the quest requirements done, lol. Wish me luck!!! I seriously hate Questing -_-!

P.S. I think I am now ready to return to Runescape... so my break is done! :P

Hey Haha!

Firstly, I'm truly glad that you enjoyed your needed break and are now ready to continue back into Runescape. If you ever need small breaks, definitely take them :)

Definitely RS is designed to be a very long term game If you are wishing to go far content wise and there's so many things to do! If I'm not bored of something on rs I'll find myself just sitting around cause there's sooo many things to do and I just can't decide which to do! :P

Also, congratulations on all your levels gained the previous week and getting so close to 99 Firemaking, the final stretch! :D .. As always, I know you'll get through your current goals and side goals, you have the persistence and dedication :)

As for getting access to elf city, I know you'll get those quests done :) I personally didn't find the quests everyone complains about to be hard but then again, I like questing so...hard to say :P Either way, you'll get through it! ;)

As always, I'll be in game and on the forums continually cheering you on :) Keep it up! :D
