Im using a Sony Xperia Z3 that isnt that old, with good specs for his time. Runescape mobile always ran smoothly, never had a problem in a year, and now it is disabled for me also.
Using Android 6.0.1. Please reconsider your list of disabled devices, I need Rs3 mobile more than ever with all the upcoming update

My Samsung tablet stopped working with the game several updates ago, and it's running Android 9 (NINE!)
Recently my Nexus 7 running Android 7.1.1 was unable to run the game.
Only my Moto x4 can run the game and it has the smallest screen.
Is the issue the screen size?
That's the only correlation I can see at this point.
I have a moto z2 force, android 9.0, lost access due to an update back in march I think. I had access from December the year before, played often, made sure to leave feedback and bug reports.
Still cannot update the client, or play. It was the whole reason I renewed my membership this year so I'm still disappointed.

I haven't had access on my tablet since March either, and I've given up assuming I'll get it back. Whatever's blocking devices that theoretically should still be able to play the game just fine, the devs either can't or aren't planning to remedy it.
I'm expecting fury later today when a whole lot of extra Android users who expect to get access discover that their device is mysteriously incompatible. I've just decided to buy a huge bag of popcorn.
I use a Motorola Moto G6. It tells me the device is incompatible, even though it runs Android version 9.0, which is way higher then the required Android version 6.0.
Why did you chose to disable access for my device, when it meets all the requirements? Poor performance perhaps?

Hey,
I hope I'm in the right place here for my question.
I'm having some issues to get the app. I'm a member, I have Android 6.0 on my phone and access to Google Play and what not.
So the weird thing is that when I click on the link provided in the news that leads you right to the Google Play page of the app using my phone, it says 'Item not found.'. But when I do that on my laptop, I go straight to the Google Play web page and can download the app (which seems also weird, playing a mobile app on a laptop). I have provided some screenshots here: https://imgur.***/a/mz***8G
I hope I'll be able to get the app soon,
Thanks

Isn't a powerful quad-core running at 2.53G** not enough? Honestly, it took years for the market to surpass this model, I don't plan to replace it so soon.
Android 6.0.1, btw.
Seems like I'll need to try a CFW.

Hi, when I go to Play Store it says that "Your device isn't compatible with this version.
I played the RS BETA before no problem. Using Samsung Galaxy, Android version 6.0.1.
I think from what i have looked through when they say android version 5 is not supported,
It means that any device that started on 5 is not supported, regardless of any version it has been upgraded to such as goin from 5 to 6. This may not be the case for everyone.
Anyway have yourselves a good halloween.
now with less potato!
potato amounts may vary, read the varrock herald for more information.
Like Kancelator said above they have looked at a list of phones with default android versions on release and decided they cant run the game because when they were released they had older than Android 6.0 they have not taken into account that PHONES CAN BE UPDATED.
This is supposed to be
early access
not
restricted access
so why not let all mobiles/tablets try to run the game?, if someones pc cant run the game they go "oh well I will have to upgrade" but the way you have set this you have made players think "I might be able to play it but they have restricted my device" why not open it and let them see if they need to upgrade phone/tablet to play the game? they will not even bother trying to upgrade a phone to do this because you have not given them the chance to see this for themselves, sorry but its stupid your a business and you are
