It's always nice to know that when you're looking forward to something good, it gets ruined.

Why can't some players with android 8 on a phone that dates back to a 2018 model of a phone can't download the beta?

Help needed, this is not funny.

There were spots left.

If Jagex tells us that it opens at 5 p.m. game time. Then it's pretty logical that you go to the play store at 5 p.m. or 5pm01.

Like i said, i was looking forward to it so there's no reason i would wait till 6 p.m. or something with no spots left.

Yep, Since they announced, I've been trying at 8:59 to 9:01AM local time, and again at 12:59 1:01AM local time. Today I tried for at least an hour. It still shows it's open, but I don't have an eligible device. I'm hoping for a hot fix before it fills up... on the main screen, it says the app is compatible with some of my devices, but I can't click on any. My Threads:
