I was attempting to do a quest (Spirit of Summer) and ran into a major issue blocking me from completion. There is no quick way to dismiss a familiar on the mobile version of the game. The familiar interface cannot be accessed quickly, and the familiar has no dismiss as a right click option. Of you are familiar with the quest, then you can understand why not being able to quickly dismiss a familiar prevents completion of it. It would help tremendously if there was a familiar interface (similar to the skill or inventory for instance) available to mobile users. At the very least, a dismiss option should be available when right clicking the familiar.
I'm just a noob, man.

Android mobile game: Make that button ribbon opaque to input!!

Visibly, sure, the button backgrounds can be transparent, it even makes the screen seem that much less cluttered. But to do so functionally is terrible. I currently have to tap a button 5 times before it takes, because my finger is not the pixel end of a cursor on a PC. I can** see where my finger tap actually takes. I am not using a stylus (which is the only way I can see this passing any sort of real testing, that or software simulators on a PC where testers use a cursor to test buttons.) Many users don’t uses styluses.

And in those 5 taps? Where it doesn’t take when all I want is to view the contents of my inventory? Or view a skill guide?

My character is running, she is stopping whatever she is doing and attacking something. She is leaving the area?!

One day I logged in using my PC and found my character outside the walls of Falador. When I had turned my phone screen off the previous night, I had been in the Artisans Guild. Apparently, while I was viewing quest information before deciding to turn in, my character was running out of the guild, through the gate, and to the area between the farming plots and the wall.

That should not be possible. In no way should the ribbon be allowing any input to fall through to the background. Those buttons need the entire space (squares?) dedicated to their action, event, whatever Android OS calls them.

Visibly? Sure, make the buttons’ have transparency. Functionally? Absolutely not.

well 5 days in from wave 4 of iOS beta!
I have raised the fact that it doesn't seem to run on iOS 12.4.7, other players have also remarked on this, nothing seems to have been mentioned anywhere about this.
I posted feedback on Testflight, got an email from Jagex to post on the formus**** as a laugh as clearly no one from Jagex seems to come on here!

There are rumours that iOS 12.4.7 and lower has been forgotten as iOS 13 seems ok.Posed this in reddit Twitter and here but as usual no response to. inform or deny!

it's about time that the truth should be out here, if iOS 12.4.7 wasn't viable would not have wasted time getting on to the beta in the first place.

I can log in perfectly well, chat all I want if I stay in the lobby, if I try to play however the game resets in 10-30 seconds usually without my in entity or character making an appearance!


So I ask e,letting no answ, why have feedback forums if nobody is going to look at them or reply, even in a batch, at some point?
I know what I want to do, but can rarely achieve it

Overall I love RS3 mobile. I've been playing it since it came out on Android and has reinvigorated my love for RuneScape. It is very well put together and the UI feels purposeful and optimised. There are a few compromises when playing this sort of game on a mobile which is more than understandable, but by god,
Why can't you allow items to tap-to-drop on the action bar!?

Most actions bound to the action bar will automatically active their primary function, even if there is more than one possibility (IE teleporting using multi-location items) yet when trying to drop ores, soil etc you are forced to enter a right-click menu with only one option. This simply seems like design oversight and hopefully easily fixed.

Please enable auto-functionality of anything in the action bar with only one option. Also, the ability to customise the single-tap action on an action bar would be great too.

I think colour scheme for icons on right requires some rework. I was trying mobile for the first time standing in GE, 5 minutes into the game, and couldn't even figure out how to open my inventory since the color of icons was blending with white floor texture. Maybe add a blackish outline with a bright color icon filling?

Been loving the app so far, though I've mainly just been skilling and doing small odds and ends. Playing on the Razer Phone 2, the game runs great even at high settings, though I usually keep them low to prevent battery drain.

My biggest request would be notification options. I currently get notifications when my research team has completed their outing, but I don't get things like GE offers filling like I used to get with the RS Companion App. If we could choose from a list of things to be notified for, specifically GE notifications, I'd love that.

The users should be able to customise their own controls and interface sizes and locations.
Not have it locked in to one size fits all because one size does not fit all on mobile devices.
With tablets and mobiles the sizes and screen ratios vary so much, that what is good for one is not necessarily good for another.
What some mobile phone players want increased in size, some tablet player may want reduced or do not want increased.
For example, i play on a samsung tab s 6 and i certainly do not want the text size to be increased, whereas it sounds that many of the mobile phone players do...

Again, mobile/tablet players need to be able to customise their own control/HUD size and location layout as to suit their own device, screen size and ratio.

ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL ON MOBILES AND TABLETS

Been playing on my S20 since I got it now. Frisking amazing first try to your design teams. My thoughts for improvement:

Accidental clicking - no, for the nth time, I don't want the water, I want the anvil. Possible solutions I can think of: right-click tap left-click hold (actually can we get this as an option? Or just one tap right click? Please?), or have a see-saw hover menu on long press (hold, drag left and release for the left object, right and release for right)

Give me a "currently training skill" xp bar. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How am I meant to view xp at the minute? Regardless, any menu i open jerks with my acctions, I can mouse over on pc, that doesn't work on phone so just give me an optional xp bar under my heath. Exclamation marks because if it launches officially with no convenient xp meter im uninstalling on my mobile.


This is a bit of a general feedback, but it applies doubly to mobile. Your menus need resorting. I play ffxiv and I first thought their menus were needlessly messy, modern RS is much worse. A frequent example, im looking for a Windows (challenges, wardrobe, chat settings, etc). If i don't know the exact button and location, there's absolutely nothing in the menus to help. They're not clearly labelled, your icons are not clear, related topics have been split up, and unrelated topics grouped! ... this point may just be a rant actually, but seriously, your menus need simplifying, clarifying, and organising. Please?

Banking freaking socks on mobile. All of my banking is done through the right click option, this is just clumsy.

Stray thoughts.

Yes its a bit cluttered, but that's only an issue because of misclicks and a lack of menu clarity. I would love a mouse pointer and clicker option instead of true touch. Zoom lock, mandatory. Camera lock, mandatory. God i hope I get my xp bar, this is a neat way to skill when I'm out and about with some down time.

Breaking news:

Rs mobile user being constantly torn away from anvil by Accidental taps leading to walking. The user was overheard muttering that walking should be harder, or some other forms or tap-prevention brought in.

Above post was character capped or I would have appended.
