For map exploration why not just try something like we build observation towers to reveal hidden features and resources. Or like an overgrown idol but in the middle is a tree we can climb to see them.

If one were truly bored they could make it a skill with hot air balloons and gnomecopters. All of which explode in a spectacular fashion.

That would be true exploration. A little better than saying you can't walk there because the terrain is 5% more green.

Items with a higher coin conversion value than their Grand Exchange price will now default to the Grand Exchange value rather than the higher conversion.

What is this supposed to mean am I the only one confused about how vague this is?

This doesn't have anything to do with my being maxed or not, my good fellow. :P The capes are not devalued by removing all stats. They might be from the point of view of people who use them for their bonuses, but those people aren't the target audience anyway; completionists, who earn the capes just for the sake of it and for fun (rather than for any bonuses in combat), are.

Sorry but from a game design perspective removing all stats is a preposterous idea. Literally the toughest cape to get in game, requiring years of play time (for people with a life) and actual completion of the game (apart from bosses anymore, sadly), would be the same as the cape you get from killing a level 11 highwayman in your first 10 minutes of booting up the game. You're clearly taking the piss, that's not how designing end game content works.

Also, the target audience for comp doesn't actually seem to be "completionists" anymore, it's "skillers who did some quests and check out every update a little bit" so I guess you're right in that sense.

I'd say keep the buff as it is, it's needed for those who cannot do kiln.
And those who can't do reaper for the passive buff.

Agree with most of the post, but who is maxed and can't do kiln in current day and age? People without arms? O_o

Anyway, glad to see the max/comp capes got buffed. I wish comp would be the same as kiln, seeing as fight kiln completion is a comp req? But *h I honestly don't understand what direction jagex is going with that

The Attack, Ranged, and Magic bonuses of the Max, Comp, and Comp (T) capes have been increased from 26 to 31.

No! Please revert this; the entire point of the rework (or what remained of it) was to make the capes cosmetic. Remove all bonuses. :(

The bonuses were removed, the Comp capes are functionally Max capes in all but one way: A higher reclaim cost. Nothing has changed between the release of the rework and now, aside from that cape family getting a small stat boost.

All Daemonheim auras now appear in the aura management interface, along with their passive benefits.

Huh? So where is my Daemonheim aura now? What am I meant to 'wear' in my aura slot? D:

All Daemonheim auras now appear in the aura management interface.

It can't be the same as Kiln, Kiln capes are BiS for particular styles and the Max cape is BiS for hybrid. Increasing the hybrid to be the same as the particular style cape would defy the entire point. The Max cape also doesn't include doing Kiln as a req, and remember, the Comp cape is merely a visually distinct Max cape with more reqs. Aka, cosmetic.
