Hello there,
Ive been playing osrs on mobile for about 2 weeks now, and ive got to say it is pretty enjoyable to be back into the old way it was when i quit almost 20 years ago.
Anyways lets get to why I needed to make a statement about mobile gameplay.
Since i have started playing again 2 weeks ago almost everytime i try to access the world map my game freezes then totally closes down and I have to restart the osrs application.
I dont know if its bot related but when going to certain places like ge or clickable botting areas it also seems to be extremely laggy.

Thanks so much for allowing us older players to have a part of our runescape back. I quit my main account right before eoc changed everything but my account is still stuck in rs3 even tho i have never played rs3. Maybe in the future that could be fixed.

I just wanted to provide a quick update in regards to the feedback you've been sending in.

First of all, thanks to each and every one of you that has tried out the Game Center login and gave us your feedback! I've seen your questions regarding logging in on a computer using your Game Center account.

As it happens, that's exactly what we're working on next for the Game Center logins. In the coming weeks, a future update will allow players to transition their Game Center accounts to full accounts, allowing them to play on desktop too.

I created a new character with game center login, it made my account under 13 years old so i have to be my own guardian, and the minute i start playing on it the app freezes. Not sure whats going on..

Hi,

I made a new F2P account through game center, and I pretty much just did tutorial island and hopped off. Now every time I open the app it will say my main name "Play Now, NewYork Mets"

But then it will prompt me saying I need a members account to log into this world... and when I switch to a non-member world just to see what happens, it logs me into the new F2P account I made, even though it says my main's name on the log in screen.

I logged out and tried again, clicked the option to log in with an RS name, not with GameCenter, and had the same issue.

Hopefully, this isn't a huge issue! I was loving the beta while I had access!

EDIT/CORRECTION: Logging out****-entering my normal account info and hitting log in did work! It didn't let me in BC I was in a members area trying to get into an F2P world :P My mistake. The first half of this message is still true, however.

that's interesting since ive made my apple id the same as my hotmail along with other email (yahoo and icloud & default phone # that comes with the phone / ipad ) ….

how will that work since I have 3 different accts for runescape under the same emails mentioned above (hotmail and yahoo & this one) that is registered for 1 apple id ( ipad / iphoneX) ?

to make the matter worse, im logged in on the forum using a user name with a registered email that is the same as the hotmail acc I mentioned above.

see what you did there with the game center? :X if need clarification - ill post a picture to make it understandable.

Hey Ayiza,

I took the mobile opportunity to create a HCIM, something I can** stake my life away on. Haha.

Fell into this problem straight away, hoping you guys already know about it. My RSN for my gamecenter account is HC Boin*. This is the one I want to play.

Unable to set Authenticator or any security related protection to my account other than bank pin and gamecenter, the main problem for this you ask? Getting that all important 10k from the Stronghold of Security is impossible, unable to progress through it at all :( .

Anything being done/is there something I’m missing?

—EDIT* Is there a gamecenter log in for the website? That’d fix the issue I suppose!

How would I authenticate my Game Center account? I’m trying to get the fighter boots from the stronghold but I can** do so until I’ve gotten that 2 step factor. We can** log into the website yet to the best of my knowledge. I’ve not read anything about authenticating Game Center accounts so far.

Also, this forum account is not the one tied to it at all. This is a separate and old account that isn’t relevant to the GC question.

Hey ya'll!

So... this may be on a sticky somewhere (could not find it), but I'm wondering whether or not the Old School Runescape APP is actually "Safe," meaning: is it really released by Jagex?

I don't want to enter my account information if it isn't Jagex.

Please advise!
