So I have been using the OSRS mobile for a while and even back on beta this issue still shows up on my phone. I currently am using a Samsung galaxy S8+. The issue is that the inventory buttons, map, and text box are not aligned with my screen, making it so there are a decent size of my phone which is a dead zone. These areas I can still see the background and notice what is going on but I am unable to click to walk or right click any part of the screen making the fact I have a bigger phone worthless. Is this something that is being looked into or has not been reported yet? If you need a picture kf my screen please let me know how I may provide one and will gladly do so.

Accidental Name Changes


Cause:
Firstly, I'd like to thank whichever Jagex Moderator has reset my display name for me. I highly appreciate it. You've not sent me a Message, nor communicated in game but you have done what I had a little rant about - so Thank you!

So, On Mobile, there is an icon on the bottom left of screen with account settings.
You are able to change your name from this screen.

You click the box, type in a name to CHECK AVAILABILITY, all good so far

BUT

If you don't want that name and want to check another, DO NOT CLICK THE DISPLAY NAME!

It would seem obvious that you're clicking there to change the name, or perhaps you know this will happen but because icons are so small on mobile, instead you confirm changes to what you have just searched for without confirming - if that makes sense .


THERE IS NO

"Do you wish to confirm changes?" Type box that would pop up, and instead your name is changed



Perhaps, a confirmation dialogue box can appear. Especially being a tiny screen and the ability to miss-click like i did and be forced a name change

Hello, and i would like to thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have started a new account after several years of not playing (due to lack of a computer). I do enjoy the mobile game and have found it very nostalgic. I and currently playing on a samsung galaxy note 9. Overall, the game functions perfectly on my device. I do find it difficult to manage my prayers, spellbook, and attack styles however, due to them being on the opposite side of the screen. Would it be possible to switch those 3 icons with the lower 3 on the right hand side? (The music icon, settings icon, and world switcher/logout) i do realize that im honestly asking a lot, and many people playing the game would be affected by this, so i will make another suggestion as well; would it be possible to allow the players to individually move these icons where they please? In the grand scheme of things, i realize that i am asking alot, but this is the only issue i have encountered.

Thank you Jagex, for creating and maintaining such a great game for all these years.

Currently use and have been using osrs mobile since beta and I've thoroughly enjoyed my experiences with it. Since the semi-recent update of the camera scroll distance I was wondering if it would be possible to add character bubbles for mobile when fully scrolled out over player heads for smaller screens. Of course it may be a buff to those of us in the wildy who don't partake it pvp content but it may be an interesting feature if it gets voted in. Thanks for the read!

I just wanted to say Thank You.

I just found out yesterday from a friend that I used to play with that Old School Runescape is on Mobile, and after a several year hiatus, I'm now back in just as I was as a child & teenager. And all the old memories, frustrations and joys have all returned.

Thanks for making such a fun game available on even more devices! I'm happy to be back.

No problems with device or game everything runs smoothly at home on bus /train/tram

The problems start with my fat fingers missclicking?

Could buttons be added at alternate ends of chat options

It would make life so much easier for us fat fingered player's
Remember it's even harder to hit the right line of chat when bouncing over potholes

Now time to rant at local council to get potholes filled might not need updates :p
whenever you make something idiot proof the universe fights back with more resourceful idiots

It appears my Account I had made on Gamecenter has disappeared? my apple ID is the same email I used a long time ago for my runescape account, and now for whatever reason, this account tries to log into OSRS and my original gamecenter account I had been playing is like gone. I can see it on Highscores but have no way to access the account or log in as ive always \just logged in with gamecenter. except now im prompted to start at Tutorial island again. im paying for a membership on the account so its rather frustrating I cant even log into it
