Hello, I do not have a particular problem, I just want to report something that is missing the application, 2 hours ago I had a big problem having died in a place because I rebooted my cell phone, I went where I had died and I did not find my objects because he had died in another world, he created that he would miss the death icon that specifies in which world I have died, since I almost lose all my objects

Could the following issue be handled by mods as soon as possible? It's urgent and affecting thousands of OSRS players using mobile, there's being made more and more topics about this to these forums right now.


I got Android 7.1.1 with 2GB RAM (Samsung Galaxy J5 2016) and been using OSRS (Beta) since 5.7.2018 already. Now after the update last thursday (22.11), it started downloading the client n stopped with the error message: "Old School Runescape has encountered a problem. Your client needs updating. Opening store page..."

It didn't open the page and now when trying to search for "Old School Runescape" in Play Store, it's nowhere to be found. Tried deleting the beta version and search again, no such a luck.

Only way I found it, was through the browser and there it kept telling me that my device is not compatible with this version and wont let me download it, even though I have the latest Android updates (7.1.1, and it SHOULD BE working on 5.0 or newer) and was working perfectly for 4,5months before the recent update, on last thursday 22.11.


Neriphyra replied to my topic last weekend, saying that this issue will be shared to the team to look into, but no other reactions / Jmod replies on this big issue yet, that is blocking probably thousands of eligible users from downloading / using mobile.

Please, could this issue be handled Asap?

one quick suggestion. I use the mini map to do most of my running around instead of clicking on the main screen. The only problem I am running into is that it hard to click the edges of the mini map. This makes my clicks for running very small and a little click heavy to get to place to place. My suggestion is maybe make it possible to zoom out on the mini map for when you need to run distance and then zoom back in when you are in a dungeon or other small area.

On Samsung S8 Active the icons on the sides of the screen are not touching the sides of the screen..... There are large gaps on both sides they are blank and cannot be used for tapping to travel or to click for loot...

Just adding this on here in case anybody interested......

Other than that I haven't seen much issues for this... other than maybe why Achievement Diary Easy is not F2P...Why Explorer Jack is gone... I dont remember much of the game when Acheivement Diary came out but I definitely enjoyed it when there was Explorer Jack and the Easy Diaries was F2P back on the main game... Also why cant players Make Planks on Their Own??? Why can't we take a Saw onto a set of Logs and Make Planks and gain Crafting and Contruction Experience. ....????? Why isnt this a feature yet??? Why do I have to walk alll the way to this NPC at the Sawmill and buy planks from him?
Theres plenty of things in the game that just dont work anymore...

Hi! First of all, I will like to say that the game is awesome and I really like it but I stooped playing about a month ago for a reason. I totally understand that you guys want to make old players feel comfortable making the mobile version almost the same as the pc version but the thing is that not all players are old players of this game for example me! I stooped playing because I think you guys focused too much or directed this game to old players instead of trying to reach new mobile players. Most new mobile players of this game quit (like me) because of the interface of the game, the number of buttons on screen more specifically. This is the main reason why I quit and this is because the interface makes the game tedious to play. I'm not saying that you have to remove them, just present them in a more less aggressive way... do you guys understand what I'm trying to say? If you guys do this the game will be more balanced in terms of gameplay and the fact that you have to click many times to move from zone A to zone B would be less noticeable and more satisfying and rewarding from my perspective, let's say focusing more on gameplay. Thank you very much for reading this, I really want to play this game on mobile but I can't... for now. -Agentant007

The Single Tap button is great to switch to for certain tasks, and even cooler how there's a function button that doesn't require you to switch tabs in order to switch to Single Tap.

However, unlike when you switch "single tap" on and off in the settings tab, when you assign it to the function button on the left, you can't just press the option once to revert back to normal tapping. It uses the "single tap" to list the drop down in order to select what you want to do with the button (as if you were clicking something in the game; it provides a drop down when pressed).

Please allow the convenient function button to allow mobile players to press it once to disable single tap mode, just like how its one press to activate it!

ps. I posted this just now before looking at these stickied threads, rookie mistake, I know! I'm going to keep the thread open though to see if it gets any attention

Is it a bannable offence to use “accessibility “ -> “switch controls” to make a auto clicker by simple telling the device when you click here repeat click every few Miller seconds (program to what ever) on any iOS device ? Because technically it’s the same as using mouse keys on a computer as you’ve found a advantage with a operating system and not using third party software just what the device is already software is programmed to do. As its easy to make a auto clicker on a iPad Pro and have it activate Using the Apple Pencil and clicking the screen to where to click and tell it to repeat click every 1.75 seconds in the same place and it will start clicking away and tapp the screen anywhere with your finger and it stops.
Before using it in the game I want to confirm that it’s allowed as I can** see it is botting as your there at the screen and your using apples accessibility features that is there for anyone to use with any iOS device ...

Is this botting ?

If you want more information on iOS accessibility features please asked ?

I am not sure if this has been addressed, but when selecting a prayer or an attack type you don't get any information on what you are selecting. For example on attack type I want to know if it is a stab attack and giving attack experience and I want to know what the prayer I am selecting is doing.

I think an "info" button like on the spell book tab for the prayer and combat style tabs would be very useful on mobile.

I have been using mobile on my iPhone 7 Plus and it works amazing and have Fell in love, the only known issues I’ve noticed is when me and someone teleport somewhere together at exactly the same time both our games freeze and have to restart. I’m not sure the phone my friend uses. But also like a lot of people when clicking on the world map to view it, the game freezes. I’m sure you are all fixing these problems as we speek.
