First hour or so of playtime feedback on an iphone 6s:
Negatives
- While trying to switch between osrs and the authenticator code generater thing to try to get a code to log in, the osrs app resets and by the time I re-enter my long login information, I need to get a brand new code. I was able to type in the info in time but it wasn't easy.
-Not just during the login screen, but I've had audio distortions on lunar island and some other places such as in the Vorkath fight.
-Battery drains extremely quick.
Neutral
- The shift click drop equivalent is nice to use, although I could see it causing disaster for some players if they forget that they had it toggled on and dropped all of their armor when trying to equip it. I realize this can be remedied by the player simply not forgetting about it though.
Positives
-No lag on my iphone 6s even in crowded areas. Loading times such as when teleporting to my PoH isn't very long.
-Left clicking, right clicking, and moving the camera are all smooth.
-I was able to do a 2 kill Vorkath trip second try without much issue, except clicking on such a small object on mobile quickly (the undead spawn) is quite difficult. I was able to get the two kills mostly just tanking the damage though.
Overall: I'm quite happy with how mobile looks so far, it is much smoother to play and transition to than expected.
Edits: I tried running the app in low power mode. While a little laggy, it seems that it's still very easy to do skilling activities while using less power which is nice. Even Wintertod was quite playable in the main world with like 100 people running around the area.
