After playing about 20 hours on phone by now, I feel like I should mention the things I have in mind. In my first post I mostly only detailed performance. Playing on Huawei p10, Android 7.0:
- Some UI elements could reaaally use some upscaling, or anything done to them which helps precise clicking. It's pretty tough to hit some stuff, e.g Trollheim teleport right after Spellbook Swap, or basically any spell that is surrounded by teleports etc. Things like using the right spirit tree tele also fall into this category - it's really hard to click the right one, unless I'm forcing a right click and then checking if it was the right one or not. I feel like I shouldn't have to do that, and I have slender fingers as is.
- Number/letter shortcuts don't work when using certain items or objects. Not sure if this is an issue on my end, but for instance for the aforementioned spirit trees, I can't input a number to teleport somewhere. Same story for an ornate jewelry box - and things like these could use bigger click zones per item anyway (as per my upscaling suggestion).
- Some skills are much easier/harder to train than the others. For instance, woodcutting and mining are extremely easy. Fishing is easy if you know you have a specific spot to click, but if there are many options, it's unintuitive to click like a madman till you find the right fishing spot, or to just right click everywhere. Things like agility are also semi hard to train because of the precision of some click zones and due to the lack of a mouse over hover on mobile. What would help with these would be some overlays - I realise it's basically what some 3rd party clients do as is, but I don't see the harm in it, except for the work required.
- Bank scrolling could use some work.
- Would it be possible to make the chat box smaller? It's way too intrusive as it is. Yes, I can minimise it, but I don't want to. Currently it's so distracting I often have to. Could be pretty much half of the current size.
