wow that was a lot I had to read to catch up with. :o Plenty of things going on in here since the last time I visited. That just shows how little time I've had over the last few months, hopefully, things will change soon for the better...
Now for some thoughts:
Team A vs Team B
I guess the Team that hasn't been named yet (would it be the team I'm in?) will have to become known as the 'unnamed' for their reputation goes before them!
Klick
help a noob quest - as already mentioned it's an event that has been done before and as been somewhat successful. There are a couple of points worth mentioning in my opinion. It is true that getting the word out there to get ppl to attend is paramount and one of the most difficult things to achieve, as Wiz said. Lack of knowledge by players (experienced and new) about the forums (hence Weekly Forumer Events, to get the word out there about our beloved forums), the fact that many players actually either don't like or cba with quests and thirdly the lack of support from Jagex for player led events.
Now onto the subject of Twitter, I also believe it's a great platform for advertising and spreading the word out there, however, for some reason WFE doesn't get as much support from Jagex in retweeting tweets (let's not go there!), which means the word can only spread so far.
Anyway, best be going got tons of things to do, take care all
Congratulations to Team Mates! As usual, the winning team was determined by the average exp gained per player. Team Lads gained quite a bit of exp, too. Congrats to everyone on your achievements.
I hope everyone enjoyed the competition.
