Hey folks!
Good lord it's been 25 days since I posted - forgive me. Work and other obligations have kept me busy and away.
I don't want to seem like a jerk coming back and suggesting this, but my clan does a weekly penguin event, and we'd love for WFE to join us, or to at least put it on the event noticeboard.
I feel like listing the event on your page might draw in some new folks to WFE if they come to the event and see that it's pretty well populated and managed.
If this is acceptable, I'll be happy to drop the event details here, and hopefully see some WFE faces there on occasion.
If not, I'm glad to be posting here again.
Glad to read up on how you're all doing. Late congrats on 99 Woodcutting, Wolf!
Thanks for getting in touch with us. I hope you are doing well. Not a problem that it's been 25 days - we're all extremely busy with real life too. It's hard to find times for us to all get online and have a few events here and there.
That being said, I'll talk to Wiz and others about the penguin event. It may be a week or so before we get an answer to you as we're all busy and Wiz's computer is broke at the moment.
It is indeed great to have new faces, although it seems that the new faces come and go rather quickly here in the Events Community recently. I do hope they would stick around, though.
Thanks again and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with further notice about the penguin hunt.
sorry haven't posted in a while. Life's been too busy lately and I'm rather exhausted. I'll try and arrange for the next competition soon. So keep your eyes open wfe cause we need to keep on rocking and rolling!
Hope you're all doing great, thought I'd drop by here considering I was looking how the old Runescape is doing; seems like things are changing a lot! One update I like is that my face still remains despite not being a member...
Just a quick update just in case anyone has been missing me (I know you have!): I'm obviously very busy in real life and also very unmotivated to play Runescape, as you guys know I'm finishing university this year, in fact my FINAL EXAM EVER is on MONDAY!!!! Then I have like 3-4months before I start my graduate scheme, I reckon boredom will bring me back, not making any promises but hopefully I can join you guys soon!
Anyways, hope you are all doing well, I will check back in a few days on this post and I want you all to tell me how you are doing as I have not spoke to any of you for so long!
Anyways, take care, I should be revising (this procrastination has taken me to new lows)
Love you all
BAI
PS - you must clearly know where my priorities lie, I have posted here before posting on my G&A thread! WFE fo' lyf

Best of luck on your final exam. I cannot wait to be completely done with university. Congratulations as well!
It was great to hear from you. All is well with me.
Lately we have not had many events due to all of us being very busy in real-life, but maybe one day that will change. There is just not enough time in a day to get everything done, and then come online and try to make it on time for events. I believe most could agree with me on that.
The community in general has changed quite a bit, but that is going to happen as everyone has their own stuff to do. With changes in-game, and people's schedule, not many people in the RS Community attend events like they used to.
2009 to 2011 was our "glory" years in Events. I have a high hopes that with RuneScape 3 being released sometime in the near future, maybe it will bring a new crowd in who like events. That is the main reason I feel events have lost their attendance capacity - lost of interest (both of RS and Events). I would even go out on a limb and say maybe that Jagex support not being present as it used to also had an effect on the turn out of events.
Reminiscing back on our events in particular; It was great when we had Mod Howes, Mod Lorenzo, and all of the other staff who attended our events. Sadly, they have gone now as well. Jagex released the 2007 Legacy servers, but in my opinion, the community we once had, will not be recreated with those servers. Life is about driving forward, and never looking back. I feel if the entirety of RS did that, maybe we would see things improve quite a bit. The release of the legacy servers just makes the gap in the community even more apparent.
I have faith that we will get back to having regular events one day, but life for everyone needs to ease up. Also Wiz's computer is broke at the moment, one day that'll be fixed too.
I wish you the best with your exam, and hopefully we will see you in-game again soon

This means we have several events to have in the coming months!

Question 3:
Suggestions of New WFE Events.
Winner:
See below.
Well, this was a tie. We had an equal amount of no new event suggestions, and two types of event suggestions. The two types of event suggestions are having hang out and beach parties and In Search for Lil Munster – A fun and Mind-boggling quest (series).
I appreciate everyone's participation in the May 2013 Poll. I will get to brainstorming with the results and gather the different ideas and discuss them with Wiz and others.
Thanks again for participating.

As for events, generally it's not going to be as popular as it was a few years ago as the game has gone long beyond the extent of promoting `exp efficiency` over teamwork and fun etc.
It's Luke!
