The JMods have to be in-game to manually kick off the start of the happy hour events each time. There'll be a whole lot of players on each of the worlds during the happy hour times of course, but offering the events on six worlds is pretty good, I think.
Not to be a pessimist but I'm hoping weekends won't be chaotic with only one Happy Hour a day.

Oh I bet it'll be busy for sure! :P

Not to seem selfish/ungrateful but for whom exactly are these times convenient?

For where I live (Caribbean)

Its 5am, 10am and 5pm English

Foreign language worlds are 12:30 pm

I usually wake up 5:30 am to prepare my meals and then commute to work for 8am until 4pm


Why not have atleast one happy hour time that is either the hour before or 2 hours after the reset which would be 7pm or 9pm it could even be on a foreign language world.

Or the suggestion of an aura that can be activated for one hour 2 or 3 times within 24 hour period.

People are hopping all over the different worlds anyway.

With all the hate it seems like Jagex has been getting lately, it makes me feel a bit sick to criticize them at all...but if you're looking to add a happy hour time that's convenient for players in America, 5 AM ET / 2 AM PT is probably not the way to go...just my two cents.

EDIT: A 1 AM UTC happy hour has been added, so this has been resolved! :)

So, I've just logged out of game, after 2 consecutive hours of 'happy hour' on w81 from 8am game time, to 10am game time, which was lovely, but...


Where do I get to find out about little extras like that? That earlier hour doesn't seem to have been mentioned on the thread here. People were talking about Reddit. I would really prefer not have to trawl through offsite social media sites that I'm not even that familiar with, trying to get such information.

Any chance of letting us know on this thread of any more such changes please Events Team?

Please can someone tell me what time "9-10 pm game time" is? My game time doesn't display that way, it uses the 24-hour clock. So I need to know what they are in something I understand. :P Although, I'm told by my friends that they don't work well for those of us in the USA who have jobs or who go to school (or both...many people do both of those things).

So 9-10pm game time, in the 24 hour clock, is 21:00-22:00. Game time is UTC/GMT. UTC and GMT are basically the same at least as far as our purposes are concerned.

- 2PM - 3PM Game Time = USA (CST) 9am

- 7PM - 8PM Game Time

I live in TX and this "happy hours" are not happy at all do you guys take in account most people in the US work, go to school/college between 8am and 5pm? ofc we can always quit sleeping and play at 4 am.
Something closer to the server reset time would be AMAZING so we can actually have some fun as well.
