Game Time is UTC, which is the time shown on the in-game clock and which never changes with daylight savings. There's currently a 1-hour difference between UTC and the time in England due to daylight savings, but in-game events always follow the in-game UTC clock.

Incidentally, for those who are not familiar with this feature, when you launch the RuneScape client, on the screen that asks you to log in, there is the word "Language" in the upper left corner.

It is by clicking on this that you can switch the language you are using, allowing you to log into the worlds where these other languages are in use - messages from RuneScape will now be in the selected language.

Yay, 1 AM - 2 AM UTC happy hour? That translates to 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT, which should be perfect for most American players. Thank you for this change, and for listening to our feedback (both regarding happy hours and the fayre in general)! :)

Well I went to the Happy Hour Event again today, and once again I was forced to shutdown and reboot in order to get back online and move around... I would say of the hour
I only managed at most 15 minutes of game time.


YOU NEED TO ADD MORE WORLDS FOR THE HAPPY HOUR, WAY TOO MANY PLAYERS IN ONE LOCATION IS CAUSING A HUGE AMOUNT OF LAG AND OR FREEZE UP'S FOR MANY OTHERS TRYING TO DO THE EVENT....

For some reason the Friday 1:00 -2:00 happy hour isn't working right now?

Crowds of people waiting on a mod to show up or for the happy hour to start.
