As mentioned before in Twitter, I was wondering, if there is a chance (at least once a month) for jmod events to take place at 8:00 or 9:00 game time.

Reason
: Many people due to work/timezones can never join the existing jmod events which normally happen after 14:00 game time.

I understand how this may be difficult to accomplish, but I would appreciate if you could arrange this once a month so a big part of the community can interact with jmods and also get the benefits of these nice events.

Hey all,

This week's events are now up! Sadly I'll only be around Monday/Tuesday as I'll be away for the Thursday and Friday which means no Patch Notes Teaser stream. :(

I'll have to think about how best to do this but let me see what I can do.

I've been playing a LONG time, and before Mod Shauny came along I had (very briefly) viewed Twitch streams, and had never attended an "official" RuneScape community event. Since he started streaming I've enjoyed watching each broadcast, and have even attended a few events. I'm glad for the breath of new life he brings to the table.

Find the Jmod events
since there is just way too much people
It would be cool if guys could route out some sort of
"treasure hunt"
with hints instead of 1 place with 1 hint.

And use something like the
treasure chest
from
carnillean rising quest
with a pincode and the pincode would be ofcourse the solution of all the clues / hints :)

A few events have been hosted in the past using the treasure chest for a sort of treasure hunt event. I haven't been able to attend them in the past, but they sure do sound like a lot of fun!

I agree that it'd be cool to have more events like that. :)

for the PC event!! I ended up staying for another hour after the event ended, to rack up commendation points! (I also had auto-retaliate turned on, and would tune in every few minutes or so to attack portals and spinners because I was browsing the forums lol)

Though, I noticed that a few people were confused by the Event Cards--is it possible to link to RSOF threads from in-game items?

Nevertheless, I'm glad that people who didn't know about the jmod event were still pleasantly surprised with the tea, broken hearts, and event cards--which no doubt made them view the jmod team more positively ^_^

P.S. Lee, would you be offended if someone called you Mod Heifer? "HLF" reminds me of the word "heifer," turns out you're the HLF curator, and your avatar is pretty much a cow... :) :) ??

The event cards themselves are fairly self-explanatory, if players have read the options, but I really like your suggestion of an item directing here. What do you think?

IIRC, there's no way to find out about upcoming jmod events from the card, as in the card doesn't mention this thread, nor the in-game clock notifications.

, I think that'd be a great update :) --going to the thread can either be a right click option (that's a pretty good mock-up btw!), or a link that you can click on after you 'Read' or 'Examine' the event card.
