The first point might be a bit challenging, but it'd have to be made abundantly clear that each person should trade only once. Something I noticed at the similar event you hosted was that sometimes players would be the first by quite a long reach, and not always would being flooded with trades be particularly worrisome.
In regards to the second point, I think it could be overcome by requiring participants to stay in the FC at all times, and having a volunteer or two stay at the g/e entrances. (As undesirable as that might be). Or somebody else could be the designated trader, and the Jmod who happened to be hosting the event could do random checks on people in the FC. I.E. going down the FC list & teleporting to each player, all the while remaining invisible. Just a couple possible ideas. Though the whole "leaving the chat at any given moment" could pose as a problem. Either way, it would make for an interesting event regardless of people trying to cheat, at least in my opinion.
Not sure how difficult it would be.. but NPCs can trade multiple people at once, and have been used for item trails, before. There also exist ready-made systems for telling whether someone has collected an item themselves, or gained via trade. With regards to the models used - this is an event, reusing models is not a concern, and would be preferable to it not happening.
How easy it would be to programme these, and to drop them into the places required, is uncertain, and perhaps something that could be judged by the CM team - whether this would be more efficient than the alternative of having stringent rules and invigilating, is probably the key matter.
P.S: Unsure if this was seen (is ok if negative response, but hard to tell whether no reply means unseen, a 'no', or just processing
):

Bit cheeky to ask this, I know, but: Do you by any chance know whether all the CM (or other) JMods already have a fully-packed GameBlast schedule, or whether one might be free, and willing to take part in some fund-raising events, in-game? :
o
This is asked just on the off-chance, and I realise it's highly unlikely, but perhaps worth a shot.

Hmm, that's an interesting suggestion Yusou. I'm not sure exactly how much information can be seen with tools like that, but it's definitely an interesting concept. Though, I don't know if using those kinds of things would even be viable for such an event. It also seems like a lot unnecessary work, when just adding a few stringencies would help just as well, if-not better.
I also don't know if the CM team is given access to tools like that. So in the end it might just make things way too complex when you're involving several different teams to coordinate for something that should be simple in conception. Personally I'd prefer the idea of something a bit more simplistic in nature, rather than convoluted tactics which may or may not work. Following Occam's razor, the simplest solution is usually correct.
(though in this case, simple is pretty subjective xD) If such a thing *could* be done without much effort though, I'm sure it'd work out pretty well.
EDIT: -snip- Thanks Neena.

Hi,
Mod Kalaya has posted about GameBlast
here
, please feel free to post your ideas here, we're looking to invite people really soon. We need to get some details finalised and once that's been sorted we can start inviting people.
Thanks Apazos for letting us know, this question might have been missed.
Trying to attend as many events possible! I have finals tomorrow so I think I must skip trouble brewing today..
God with letter I.
Ask for me and I help, if I can.
