I just this morning used my credit card to purchase a full year's membership for $89.99 It was my understanding this paid for the "gold premier club" membership for a full year. I received an in-game message letting me know payment had been received. Yet when I logged in I could not get into world 52. (My present membership...the summer special...was to run out Dec. 11th.) Can anyone explain to me why I cannot get the perks of the gold premier club?

How can you see which membership you purchased? a regular year or the premier year?

Jodie if you hold over the ribbon right under your picture here in the forums; you will
see yours just says membership wheras my ribbon looks different and says premier
if i hold over it.

on the big log line to put in what you want to ssearch for type in
Premier Club Refunds, Transfers and Everything in between!
After that is typed in you can click enter.
After this is typed in you can click on the enter button so you can tell
what you need to finsih typing.

Well here it is Friday the 7th of December. I managed to find a "contact" (for Jagex) last Monday and sent off a message telling Jagex I paid for "gold premier club membership" via bank card and only received "regular" membership. I asked Jagex to please correct this. When I sent this message off I received a message telling me Jagex had received my message and please allow 48 hours for a response.
It has now been well over 48 hours and still there is no message in my in-game message box from Jagex. I'm disappointed to say the least and despondent as well as the game is just not the same knowing I paid for something I did not get.
I am what I am! Acknowledging this is the beginning; and my growth is yet to end!
Problem is that you did not buy the Premium Package , but instead the regular 12 months of membership.
So if you did follow LadyOLakes advice , then should they look into it , please keep in mind atm are they a bit behind , because of OSRS release and Premium membership.

The usual response time is within 48 hours, however at the moment there is a huge backlog of tickets waiting for a response.
This is due to the release of mobile OSRS followed a couple of weeks later by the release of 2019 Premier Club.
Check the price you paid was actually $89.99 and not $99.99.
The response will be left in the 'Messages' tab of your account here on the website.
I am sorry you have had to wait so long for a reply but your ticket is in a very long queue.

Don’t feel bad.
It’s my understanding from multiple people that this has been happening frequently.
Jagex needs to fix the payment portion to reflect what is actually paid for.
I’m on day 3 waiting for this to be fixed.
